Following a flood in our bedroom, Metrotown Flooring was chosen by our contractor to replace part of our engineered hardwood flooring. As the flooring was relatively new and in good shape (the flood was contained to the bedroom), we wanted to avoid the waste of replacing the flooring throughout our entire apartment. We had been told that it might not be possible to only replace the bedroom without putting a floor divider between the bedroom and adjacent hallway. I love the look of continuous flooring and really did not want to compromise on this. Nor however did I want to compromise on environmental sustainability. Al felt confident after doing an on site inspection, that they could restore the look of the flooring to its pre-flood state while only ripping out and replacing the bedroom floor. The result is amazing! They were able to perfectly match the flooring and avoid putting in a separator. The flooring looks just as it did before the flood. I highly recommend Metro Town Flooring.

One of my neighbours recommended Metrotown floor, as I had plan to change my bedroom’s carpet to laminate. I visited their store and they connected me to Mansur in order to come to my place for estimating this project. He was so professional and friendly. He helped me out to find a best match laminate with living room laminate which was done 8 years before. As I was pregnant and my due was very soon, wanted to make sure this project will be completed as soon as possible. He was so flexible and managed to complete this project as earliest as possible. Although I received a complaint from one of neighbour during the project and unfortunately VP of council gave me wrong information and we had to stop the work for one day, Mansur was reached me out and professionally advised me regarding my right in this situation. The next day I contacted strata and followed Mansur’s advice and we started the work. Mansur and his team were able to complete the project just in one day. Mansur at Metro floor was quick and responsive with choosing our hard wood floor. We had to replace our old carpet in master bedroom in small window of time. He was helpful arranging the necessary documents ready for the strata's approval. The contractors were polite and respectful as well.

"So sorry that this renovation is over". Said NO ONE EVER! But in this case, it is sort of true - we'll miss them because Metrotown Floors + Interiors has restored our faith in contractors! (We've had horror stories ranging from stolen deposits, stolen home objects, and completely hideous work.).

Janina was so knowledgeable and helpful in selecting tiling, measuring our kitchen, and providing clear renderings of the kitchen re-do; and then there's Byron - some contracting companies claim they take care of your home as if it was their own. Byron takes care of your home as if it was Buckingham Palace! The attention to detail was incredible with challenging colour matching, wall patching, and final finishing! Several times, I wondered if something would fit properly (microwave and dishwasher) and wow, it did, like a hand in a glove! Many times also, as I watched him do something, I would think "I would do it this way", only to have him complete it just as I completed my own thought! His communication was constant, and always supportive. His vision for the work was always clearly presented and he constantly looked for the best way to do something. And within an appropriate time frame no less! European craftsmanship at its best!

Don't waste your time looking up interior contractors. You absolutely cannot go wrong with Metrotown Floors + Interiors!
