This boutique is amazing! I had such a great experience! I had something in mind for my wedding dress but couldn't put my finger on exactly what I wanted (and was started to get a bit worried that I wouldn't find it), but I came here and found SO many dresses that I could picture myself walking down the isle in! They listened to my "dream in my head" and made me feel so special - excellent service and attention to detail on their part!
Also, the Rosa Clara collection is beautiful - elegant and exquisite details - dresses I had never seen in any other boutique! I said YES to the dress here and I can't WAIT to pick it up!

Small shop with a big heart! We went thru various wedding shops, and my fiancé finally found her dream dress in this little gem located at the heart of Steveston village. Vivian is patient, customer oriented, and all around wonderful. Experiencing such amazing customer service while making a once in a life time purchase is truly phenomenal. We both thank Vivian and Mia Boutique for making this shopping experience unforgettable!

I bought my wedding dress in October from Mia for my wedding last month, as well as a bridesmaid dress for a wedding I was in. I liked that the 2 staff members were helpful in suggesting dresses, but not pushy or pressuring at all and listened to my price point and what I was and wasn't looking for. I could try on my favourites again, take pictures, and even better, the dress I bought was on sale and fit perfectly with no alterations needed (I'm a size 12 for reference). I would recommend them based on this good experience. Thank you!

Very nice dress selection! Mia boutique was the first place I went to try out bridal dresses for my wedding shoot and I was lucky to find my dress without going to a second place with the short amount of time I have! Vivian was very helpful and nice with a great eye to help me find the dress that suits me. The seamstress also helped me alter my dress so I can have it ready in time!
Definitely recommend this place!

If you're looking for a wedding dress, definitely check out Mia Boutique. Don't be fooled- they're a small boutique shop but they had a great variety of wedding dresses to choose from! Their prices were also quite reasonable compared to other wedding dress stores I had visited. Highly recommend checking their sales section on their website (I definitely appreciated being able to check their sale section online before my in-person appointment, and they post their sale prices as well, which not many wedding dress stores do) - this is how I ended up finding my wedding dress:). The staff were also super friendly and helpful during the whole process! Highly recommend!

Their seamstress is really good, the employees are professional and their prom dress selection is pretty good. I was happy with the way my dress turned out (fitting, colour etc.) Would recommend!

I cannot express how disappointed I was with the service provided from Mia from the time we walked into the store, to the time we received our bridesmaid dresses. When we attempted to order our dresses, the manager, Ella quoted us a price that was quite higher than another local store selling the same dresses. When I brought this to her attention she initially stated that she could not match this price as she had no control over prices, and when I thanked her for her time and planned to order from the other store, she quickly changed her tune and agreed to match the price. Not a huge deal - but seemed a bit shady. Skip forward a few months and I arrived with 3 of my bridesmaids to pick up their dresses, and NONE of the dresses fit. Prior to ordering the dresses, the girls had to take their measurements at home as for some reason, this was not done during our visit. When comparing their measurements to the sizing chart, the girls noticed that they were showing as fitting in different sizes based on their measurements for bust, hips, and waist. In order to ensure a good fit, our maid of honor emailed Ella herself, to ask for assistance. We were advised, in writing, to use the waist measurement as our guide. When I discussed this with Ella in person, she argued that she had not told us what size to order and as such, would accept no responsibility. This was an absurd response as I was literally showing her an email she had written herself that said, and I quote, "you should order the 6". She then argued that the girls must have all taken their measurements wrong, which seems quite unlikely given they followed her step by step instructions, and again, argued that this being the case, she would accept no fault. As we stood there, feeling very concerned, disappointed, and dismayed, she literally stood there laughing. Even if there was literally nothing she was able (or willing) to do to help, a simple apology and show of sympathy would have went a VERY long way. I now see through reviewing other reviews that this is not the first time that this has happened. I cannot understand why they have not adjusted their procedures to prevent this from happening, and that their response continues to be disrespectful, rude, and dishonest. I can honestly say that I have never received such shockingly poor customer service. I would never recommend this boutique to another bride, or bridesmaid, and cannot imagine them being in business much longer.

Horrible experience. Terrible customer service. The Boutique's response to a previous customer's review, "Sorry that we do not owe you anymore apologies as we did not do anything wrong", perfectly sums up their attitude and approach to handling customer dissatisfaction. The staff was horribly rude, mocking, and entirely unhelpful. I do not recommend making purchases from this store.

I was completely clueless on my first visit to Mia Boutique. I didn't know what type of dress I wanted or would look good on me. Vivian and Ella were both very helpful and patient and I ended choosing THE dress on my 2nd visit to Mia Boutique.

There were many dresses to choose from and the styles were unique. I thoroughly enjoyed my dress shopping experience. It was fun and memorable, and it wouldn't have been if it wasn't for Vivian and Ella.

I had the most amazing experience at Mia's Bridal store. From the professionals who were assisting me to the dresses I tried, and the one I chose, everything was unforgettable to make my big dream day special. How clean the store is, the collection of dresses, from mother-in-law, mother and bridal, it is absolutely stunning. For every event I have to go, I know I will have the most beautiful dress because I will find at Mia's store.

Would absolutely recommend this location for special occasion wear. They were so helpful and helped me to find the dress of my dreams for my wedding. Such a wonderful experience with their staff and the entire process.

So happy that I was able to find my dream wedding dress at Mia Boutique! Since many of the dresses have photos online, I came prepared and noted down the item number of the dresses I wanted to see in person and try on. Vivian was incredibly helpful and made suggestions for dresses that were no longer available, and other dresses based on the style I was looking for. This made the process comfortable, efficient, and safe during COVID. When I came back to Mia Boutique to try on and pick up the dress I ordered with my customizations (5 months later, earlier than expected as per the conservative timeline they provided), Vivian again was so accommodating and friendly. I never felt pressured or rushed, and they were also helpful to my mom who was browsing Mother of the Bride dresses. Thank you so much, Vivian and Ella, for the positive experience!

Beautiful dresses and the girl who helped me was very nice. The last dress I tried on I really loved and I asked if could take a picture (just one picture). The answer was no, and if I want to see the dress I can look on their website. I knew the dress and the designer, I can very easily find the dress on the designers website as well. The thing is it’s difficult to remember what it looks like on with a picture! Because I drove 45 minutes to get to their store, it’s too bad I wasn’t allowed to take one picture of the one dress I loved. Their dress was one of two I wanted as my wedding dress. Maybe if I had a picture of what it looked like on, I would have selected it. Instead I bought a dress from another store the next weekend who had allowed me to take pictures and videos of the dress. Such a stupid rule this boutique has, you lost my business because of it

Had an incredible experience at Mia Boutique and especially with Vivian, who helped me try on and even picked “the one” for me! The boutique is intimate, clean and wonderful. They save it just for you - it was such a special moment with my mom, mom in law and Maid of Honour!

I highly recommend Mia Boutique. Their prices were great too and the dresses are stunning, all different silhouettes and styles so you can get a really good idea of what you like and do not like.

We will be back for bridesmaid dresses!

My daughter and I had such a wonderful experience here! We were looking for a Grad dress and I love to support our local community stores. She had such a nice time trying on dresses. There was no pressure and I loved how everyone helping us gave their honest opinion on the dresses they liked best. We weren't rushed in any way and I thought the prices were very reasonable too. We found a beautiful dress for Grad but more importantly we have a great memory we can always look back on at how much fun we had finding the perfect dress!

Mia boutique was the first and only place that I went to find my wedding dress. On top of their competitive prices (in comparison to a lot of the more expensive boutiques across Vancouver and the lower mainland), their dress selection is carefully picked out to be the best of the best. It was difficult to choose which dress was the best as there was so many beautiful selections. The staff are very kind, professional and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

I went in desperately into Mia’s at a Steveston, a week before my son’s wedding to get a mother in law dress. Not only did I finally find the perfect dress six sizes too large, but Ella took the time to fit me in for an alteration and two fittings insomuch I not only got a dress but one that looked like it was made just for me.
They even helped me pair up with a matching set of earrings and gave me advise on shoes. This is not only a shop for brides but a place to go to find ‘that dress’ for an occasion and a place where ladies can be made to feel like a princess, or in my case the queen mother in law.
