I was shopping Michael's at approx 6: 30 pm. Had wanted/needed to use the washroom. When I got to where the washrooms are, there was a sign that they were closed. I asked a staff about the washrooms being closed - "yes, we closed them at 5 pm. " To which I replied "how inconsiderate. " That's 4 hrs of business time without washroom accessibility. Then at the checkout I had to bag my own purchase. I asked the young man "don't you bag anymore? " His response was "it's not required here. " I had supplied my own bag but I'm sure had I purchased a Michael's bag the cashier would have bagged it for me. Michael's carries a wide range of product but their customer service sucks.

Michaels is a fabulous store if you're into arts and crafts. Michaels offers everything under the sun when it comes to enhancing your arts and crafts experience. The weekly 30% to 40% off regular priced items has come in handy many many times for me! The staff are always very courteous and helpful. I'll keep going back!

It is unfortunate that a large company such as Michael's can't afford staff to work as cashiers and chooses to force the customers to do the work. I will not support an establishment that makes self checkout the only option. Several customers were vocally annoyed being forced to use self checkout.

One of the employees, R***e was pretty rude to me for no reason. It made my shopping experience pretty sour. Also, I feel like the employees could smoke somewhere other than in front of the store?

Looking for patches for clothes, found some. Not a lot of variety and they came in a 4 pack. Only needed one but had to buy 4!

I was in Michael’s on Wednesday, June 7,2023. I needed help in the framing section of the store. I noticed a young man helping a difficult situation with a customer ahead of me. He was patient, kind and gave great advice.
When they left and I asked for help I was overwhelmed by the help I got. Ryan went above and beyond with advice and help. He made great suggestions, looked for the frames I wanted and even carried them out to the car for me. I was very impressed!
I’d certainly recommend Michael’s to others because of his customer service! 10 out of 10!

Bill was very helpful when picking out a christmas tree and some lady was insistent on me not carrying it (its a big box) out of the store which granted did make life easier.

They have soo many things that I would use all for a good price too. The staff are also pelretty nice and help you if you need help with finding something.

Clean, well organized store. I was just browsing when an employee asked if I required assistance with my shopping. Wow can't remember the last time I could even find staff to help! Lovely cashier as well.

Lots of stuff, almost hard to find what your looking for if you don't know where it is already. Staff gave a vague direction, not that helpful.

Picked up a few things yesterday as they always have everything I need. The cashier (Lauren) was so kind and friendly! I was very impressed with her attitude! Keep it up Lauren because you definitely put a smile on my face with your kindness!

Clean store. But the fake flower selection seems to have gone up in price and down in quality lately. Dollarama has some flowers that are prettier, sorry to say it

Friendly staff, usually has all the supplies that I need, they have always been great when it comes to returns. I love their sales, especially around Christmas time.

They seemed to carry pretty much everything crafting related. I was especially impressed with the value of their selection of vinyl printers!

The staff are wonderful and treat you very well. Needed an oil.painting stretched and mounted on a frame. They were professional and treated the artwork brilliantly. Thanks to the framing department!

Need more people on the floor! I scooted around the whole store 1&1/2 times to find everything when it should have only taken me 5 mins just for ribbons and safety pins

Was asked by two different employees if I was finding what I was looking for. Just a pleasant experience.

As with other locations, this store operates with lower levels of regular stock.
Staff were helpful & the store was immaculate. Sadly, what I needed was not in stock that day!

Good place to find craft stuff. A little difficult to navigate the store but the friendly staff knows where most items are.

Placed my order on-line late morning & it was ready for pick up by 2: 30pm. Upon arrival at the store, a staff member was readily available to assist me & quickly retrieved my purchase. I was in & out in 5 minutes.

Started rock painting, found all my brushes and paint at Michael's. Only drawback is lack of staff to direct one if cant find what your looking for. However the store manager came to save the day, he is fast, courteous and efficient. Problem solved for me in less than a minute. I did not get your name? Kudos to the store manager for being there for your customers!

Huge store well organized & clean with friendly staff on always willing to help. 3 stars because everytime I shop here the stock is running low in paints. Everysingletime

I went in there and a ton of stock empty. As usual. Signs everywhere saying they were having difficulty with stock. The prices have gone up terribly. I needed white and after it was swiped by scanner my yarn was black. There was nothing to sanitize hands with, empty. If you see any sales here, it will be empty. On advertised sales, go that day or it will be slim pickings. Expensive! Unless you get the cheap wool, to do any project is going to cost around $40. I have gone here for years. $7 to $12 needs for wool. Unless you want a tiny ball. The pricing bad.

I approached a lady working in the Custom Framing Department, her name is Pamela. I finished two Diamond Painting Pictures and wanted them professionally framed. Pamela helped me to pick out the matboards and the frames that best suited my pictures. She was able to find two frames that were on clearance and I was just delighted. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She certainly is a fantastic lady and an asset in the Framing Department.

I traveled from Vernon to stock up on supplies. I found a lot of neat stuff. Unfortunately their clay section was almost completely empty so I couldn't get a lot of the stuff I needed. I did find a lot of other supplies I needed though. There was a lot of variety and selection throughout the store. The staff was great. They were all really cheerful and made you feel really welcomed. The cashier, Lynda, who I went through was the nicest and sweetest lady ever! I will defiantly be back again.

No Americana paints. Been waiting for a few colors for 11 months! No brushes either! They have the same excuse every time I go in. No problem with anything else you need in this store. So why cant they get paint or brushes? Find a new supplier then! Geeeze!

It is a great store for supplies. But be careful as some products that you can get cheaper elsewhere. But for hard to find art supplies it is wonderful to have the store here.

The aisles seem pretty sparse and bare, it looks like there isn't much merchandise coming into this place probably covid related. I have always found most of the items in this store way overpriced by at least three to four times what it should cost, I usually walk out and find the same item at my local Dollar or Thrift Store.

Not an employee in sight except for at the till. Wandered around for a solid 20 min and not a single floor associate. Won't be going back here

Terrible store. Never have what I am looking for. They are about a year behind trends such as paint pouring, high flow paints, and alcohol ink. They finally got more alcohol ink selections in, but no surfaces to paint on so I still have to shop online or go to opus. If they do carry what I'm looking for, they are almost always out. The staff do not have a lot of knowledge on products or operations such as stock and inventory. I was looking for a particular product and they were out on the shelf. I NEEDED the product for my business (I am a local crafter at markets) and asked an employee when they would be getting it in. They didnt know. So I asked, okay, can I order it? No. Okay.when does the next shipment come in and I can check stock? We don't know when product comes in, corporate orders it depending on what the computer says. Ok well the computer says there is 2, theres nothing on the shelf, so it will never order it! Like holy F does corporate think their employees are so dumb they cant possibly handle inventory and stock management?
Last christmas, I was looking for blank white ornaments to paint. The christmas market season starts September, and they didnt start getting ornaments until the first week of December, and were out of white almost immediately the following weekend. Again, I asked a staff member when they would get more and they said that was it! They only get one shipment of christmas stock and they dont allow you to order stock in. They could have made a TON of money off local crafters-everyone in the scene was looking for blank ornaments. If they arent catering to local crafters then who the hell do they think is their customer base?

Anyone who crafts loves Micheals and I'm no exception. This location has great friendly staff and often good sales, but is very disorganized. Even if you ask to check if something is stock their machine is often wrong and I find some in a different location. Just wish things were where they are supposed to be.

Went in looking for a couple small containers of acrylic paint. Came out with canvases, over 16 different colours, brushes, and a million different ideas! Stay away if you have no willpower like I do! Prices on many items the same or better then any dollar store style business. And in most cases better quality too!

I went in looking for unicorn cookie cutters for my great granddaughters and found 3 different ones. Now of I could just find a unicorn cake pan.
