I had a previous review which I have retracted. Today's experience was quite wonderful! Prices were good coupons were available selection was good service was great and their new self checkout is one of the best that I've experienced. Would definitely do again!

I am a big crafter and I am so disappointed in the kamloops store, you should have at least 2 cashier on front end, will not return to this store, I don't want to on line shop, I want to keep my dollars in my community but now I will have to shop on line and heading to Kelowna

Probably one of my worst shopping experiences. Like everywhere else, your store went to self checkout. Taking jobs away from people who desperately need one. It's not that I don't want to do it myself, but part of going shopping for me is a way of interacting with others, now that's taken away. Also, not a single employee asked if I needed help.it's kind of sad, really. Music was so low you could barely hear it, and the 30% off coupon, what a joke. Everything I bought today didn't apply except a $3 item, it's disappointing. Save yourself time and just buy online.

I can usually find what I am looking for in the store. Prices are comparable to other stores and websites and the convenience of being able to grab what I need right away is nice. Last visit was boxing week and as expected the shelves had been stripped bare of the sale items I was looking for but I was able to purchase online and still get the savings.

A visit to the store always inspires my creative mind.

It was a great place to find gift articles and stationery products. Variety of products are available.

Lots of goodies in this store from crafters. Higher prices, but at least your getting good quality items. Christmas blowout is still ongoing, 70% off.little disappointed with the scrapbook section. Seems a little smaller than I remember.

My favorite store, staff are nice and I buy most my yarn for crocheting from Michael's because of the variety they carry!

As usual, Michaels is unnecessarily expensive, but the staff at this one are kind and friendly

Good selection. Could use discount coupon for part of purchase. Hard to find someone in store to help u.

Need to expand their stock more. No nail art at all, and only one choice of beading loom with limited accessories. Also has zero macramé rope of any significant length. They do have a nice selection of polymer clay stuff though. Some of it can be super expensive.

Always a positive experience at Michael's it has so much inventory and ideas, especially if you cannot find elsewhere or just not an item available.

Prices can be a little high on some items.

Always a clean and bright environment full of all the best and high quality crafting supplies, I spend way too long in this store but it's worth it!

I like to wander the aisles and think of all the cool stuff I could make but never can find the motivation. I also visit if I get a spark of creativity to collect everything necessary for a very specific craft or art project that I will never finish. 10/10

I always enjoy a good visit to Michael's except this time the shelves were bare from the old Christmas stock and the one thing I went in for they didn't have. I can't put that fully on their shoulders since everywhere has limited supply due to covid.

Every time I go into this store my mind goes crazy with ideas there so many things to choose from and no one can say their bored because theres so many thing you can make

There is a good variety of craft materials and tools for all ages although prices are mainly high unless can get the coupons for 50% off. No airmiles now but service was mainly pleasant unless returning item.

The store is fine but I have unsubscribed to their incessant ad emails at least a dozen times and they still keep sending unwanted ads. I'm sick and tired of getting their ads and having to delete them. Unsubscribe means unsubscribe! Get it?

Always ask about the coupon if you don't already get the emails! Regualrly getting 30% off one item is pretty amazing really, especially when you're a crafty mf

I had some questions about acrylic paints and the lady at the till was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They also had a large selection of reasonably priced paint colours for me to choose from.

Great store and friendly service but like most retail places, supply and demand is a challenge. Will be back for more supplies.

Love Michael's! I'm a crocheter so always in the store using coupons! Hopefully some more yarn is in stock soon, it's been pretty slim pickings but the yarn is great quality and always great to browse the store

Very well organized store, always easy to find whatever I'm looking for. Aisles are always clean and prices always clearly marked. I do find that I cannot visit without buying at least one thing each time I enter.especially with those 30% off coupons always floating around!

Great service and very knowledgeable staff. I can ask any random question and there is always someone there can knows the answer!

1st time ordering on line.paid a little more but less than the gas I would have used.shocked by how quickly the order was delivered. Convenient!

Amazing selection, staff are all crafters who know what they're talking about. Only place I can get sewing/knitting supplies without getting judged by elderly, elitist seamstresses.
Expensive but the quality is worth it.

Aisles are a little tight and poor covid 19 protical. No Controls on store numbers or aisles routes.
Only protection for staff.

Was looking for a certain craft item. When I found it it was really overpriced. Went and bought the same product at the dollar store.

Manager followed my wife and I around the store for half an hour while we were trying to shop. Easy fella, I'm gonna pay for my yarn and bristle board.

Great service, helped me find what I needed and made sure I was happy with it. Quick and courteous service. Great quality and good variety of merchandise.

There is a ton a super cute items here at Michaels, based on their products alone I could give them 5 stars, they lost a star because of how over priced everything is. The staff are very friendly, and the store always seems clean, for an art store! I got my best friend a replica beauty and the beast rose, buying a fake rose and glass dome from here. So beautiful, I also love just walking through here.

Not a good experience when you have a coupon for 40% off.then when you go to purchase an item they don't honour the coupon.

I would have loved Michaels more if their selection of adult coloring books were broader. But other than that it's one of my favorite places to go

Everyone will say it is a very expensive art and craft supplier. They could improve shelving as many items were on shelves indicating a sale and when at the tile, it was full price. From previous shopping, never thought their high pricing equated quality

Has a large variety of craft projects & materials needed to make them, artists supplies different types & colors of yarn, also needles for knitting and crochet hooks, frames & framing service, ribboning and flowers. They are more pricey, but Michael's does offer discount coupons every week. Nice store, fairly bright, clean and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Got told a fabric paint would work on my project, spent 40 dollars and it literally didn't work. Worker was super convincing said she did it all the time on polyester. No paint colour came out on my fabric, it is still the colour it was prior to the paint job. WASTED 40 DOLLARS.

It has beautiful decor and has a lot for almost every craft. Some stuff is slightly overpriced but all in all its a great craft store

It seems like there's a wide variety for your crafting needs, but not quite. Their stuff is insanely expensive and if you do want to get things at a moderately fair price, you have to sign up for the emails that give you coupons. The stuff they do have at least is not garbage and good quality.

I love Michael's, the staff is friendly, and the store is organized and clean.they have everything I need from professional grade watercolours, paints, ink, canvas, paper, sketchbooks, to arts and crafts for kids such as crayons, foam stickers, colourful tapes, glitter, glue, and so much more.
I love their seasonal section, it always comes out months in advance so you can prepare for the upcoming holiday or event.there is usually a lot of parking.and they always have some kind of sale or coupon, and whenever you make a purchase you always receive a coupon with your receipt!
