Kevin spent at least an hour with me upon our first meeting going over, in-depth, the options and process of the home purchasing journey, and never failed to keep me guided in the right direction throughout the whole process.
As a first time home buyer, I had my reservations and nerves, but he made the entire experience easy-to-understand and straight forward.
I can’t thank Kevin enough! Quality person, easy to talk to, and an absolute professional and expert in his field!

Amazing experience. We were running out of time to buy a house with subject removal coming up quickly. We were having troubles getting approved elsewhere, and these guys got us approved instantly and had a mortgage ready to go just in time to buy the house. We had a complicated file but they pulled it off fast as they were knowledgeable, and knew exactly what to do. Very professional and knowledgable and good at explaining everything. Definitely using mid Island in the future.

Highly recommend Mid Island! When you get great advice, service and results there's really no need to go anywhere else. We've worked with Kevin multiple time in our 15+ years in Nanaimo and I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone their way.

Negative experience - nearly lost deposit - had ample time to deal with everything (multiple months). Ended up getting financing elsewhere. Probably won't do business with Mid-Island mortgage again - if I was going to, I'd be working with another broker as well.

2nd time dealing with Jason Barudin. Super nice guy, gets the job done quick, right, and best rate. And Thanks again for answering all of my weird questions. Will definitely be using him again on the next one. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic people! I’m self employed, and went through a divorce. No lenders would work with me. I called Mid Island Morgage, had a meeting with them, and got financed right away! At very competitive rates. I’ve used them twice now. Great to see a company that actually cares! They go above and beyond! Thank you Jason!
