Sales manager was extremely rude. Keep on emphasizing to just buy the car instead of giving the any trading price or showing the option. While i was choosing the car, he was questioning my intention on purchasing. I would say no sales attitude and manners in manager.

It was my first time buying a car and my experience at Midway Mazda was incredible! From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional and kind. Simranjot was very attentive to all the questions my parents and I had and made me feel comfortable as a first time buyer. The full buying process took a few days but the dealership had open and clear communication all throughout. While I did the paperwork, the staff ensured I knew all my options and helped me configure the best set up. Before finalizing, they made sure that any defects were taken care of and I walked away with a shiny used car that will last me a long time. Thanks Sim!

The whole experience of buying our new Mazda 3 was very simple and we got the trim we requested in less than 2 months. They didn't try to oversell any options and the price was what we expected based on MSRP on the Canadian Mazda website. They were polite and there was zero pressure. James even went above and beyond, offering to let us test drive his personal vehicle as there were currently no similar models available on the lot for test driving due to the current vehicles shortages which are out of any brand's control.
When our car arrived James took an hour of his time to go over how all of the systems worked, from the speakers/audio to the heads up display.

I came to the dealership in pretty urgent need of a new vehicle, as my last one had broken down. I told John what type of vehicle I was looking for, as well as my lifestyle and needs, and he was able to show me some great options that really suited me! The service from John and Jennifer was impeccable and allowed me to comfortably pick out a vehicle that was right for me with no pressure:)

One week later, I drove home in a Mazda 3 that I am very happy with!

If you are looking for someone that knows how to help you find the right car, definitely ask for John!

I’ve only had two cars so far. One a nissan that the nissan dealership did a really terrible job with and endangered my life. Putting in wrong belts and the wrong break extenders that caused it to blow the break line. Nissan made me feel terrible as a customer all the times I went in.i finally made the choice to buy a used mazda 3 from a friend. From day one of taking it in for inspection and getting any repairs and maintenance done its been amazing. Dan in parts and services is my go to guy. They have done great work and treated me super well since day one. If a mistake was made it was fixed right away. If work or advice was needed they have been more then willing to help. I will be a mazda owner for life because of the experiences i have had with my car and this dealership. I can’t speak for everyone but they have done so well and been so professional with me! Very good people highly recommended!

Two weeks ago, I urgently needed to find a reliable used vehicle. Fortunately, I was greeted by John after stopping in at a few other dealerships. Flawless, unparalleled service, far and above any experience I had with previous sales teams. He has already surpassed any expectations with his follow up and customer care. Services at Midway Mazda is top notch. Eric was able to help me with an instant booking whereas other dealerships were booked for 3-4 days. They also did a complementary drop off and pick up from my home while my car was being serviced. Absolutely recommended.

A dynamically large thank you to John, Jennifer, and all the staff here at Midway Mazda. Not only did I receive fantastic service but an incredible deal that completely undercut the competitor in Langley.

John and Jennifer were able to save me at least $12,000 when measured against an offer from their Mazda competitor. To say I was shocked is an understatement. Knowing how badly I was getting screwed at the other dealer made me understandably quite upset but wonderfully relieved at the same time seeing I was in good hands with people who value my time, money, loyalty, and patronage.

John even went the extra mile via returning $26 I left in the car by sending me an e transfer of his *own* cash. If that’s not excellent service, I don’t know what is.

All in all, I was incredibly satisfied and look forward to getting my cars from this dealership for quite some time. Thank you to John, Jennifer, and the whole team at Midway Mazda!

Navigating the car market in its current state was not an easy task but John took such good care of me. I was having issues with my 2012 Ford Escape and was ready for a new vehicle but nervous about how much the upgrade was going to cost me as a student. The moment I walked on the lot John treated me like family and ensured I had realistic expectations. Being a young woman trying to buy a car alone, obviously I was worried about getting the wool pulled over my eyes but I did not feel this way in the slightest while working with John. I am now driving a 2017 Mazda CX-3 and I have never felt better about an investment.

If you're thinking of buying a Mazda this is the place you want to be! Exceptional staff all around- Kingsley was fabulous and helped me through the purchase of my new car. He spent a lot of time going over all the features and how everything worked. Absolutely no high pressure selling that you find in most car lots. I cannot recommend this dealership more highly!

Horrible experience with this dealership. I called them regarding a used car they post online and asked if it’s in good condition. They told me it’s great only to get me all the way there (2 hours back and forth from downtown) when I got there, they said sorry this car is in junk condition. So basically they lie to you to get you there and then sell you something else!

I was referred to John by my sister who also purchased a vehicle from John at Midway Mazda. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind. He made the process easy and fast.

Throughout the whole process of purchasing the vehicle I never felt rushed into anything and he never tried to upsell me on anything. He always made sure it was what I wanted. And the car suited my needs. Once I purchased the car he even went as far as buying a personalized gift for my 5 year old daughter. It was extremely thoughtful.

Would recommend John at Mazda for any of your vehicle needs. I absolutely love my new car and I am so happy with my whole experience at Midway Mazda.

John picked me up at the ferry with an enroute stop at RBC so I could formalize the purchase at Midway Mazda and return to the Gulf Islands. Needless to say, John exceeded my expectations!

Excellent customer service (service advisor) and excellent mechanics in the service department. Had an oil change done and the mechanic provided a thorough report of my vehicle and other things it needed. They even took me out to the vehicle to show what they were talking about. Dealership could use a better waiting room though.

We visited Midway Mazda because they had a lot of used CX-5 to choose from. Upon our arrival we were introduced to John Pacheco who was very professional and welcoming right from the beginning. He wasn’t pushing us in any way, he gave us all the information we needed and answered every question. We were really happy to meet him after our previous experience from other dealerships. Even our doggo who accompanied us through the whole process was so excited to see John again when we came back to pick up our new car.
Overall it was a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate the next time I need a car to see John again. Thank you and rest of the team!

Sales not clear about the features available. Bought a CX-9 and they said it's got LKAS same as what Honda and Toyota offer but that's not the case, confirmed with Mazda.

Not assisting with getting the Mazda loyalty bonus despite the then Finance Manager telling me that he will get that processed.

Seems like a shady dealership. I would say avoid them and go to other dealerships.

Such a pain, would have to travel further to get the car serviced as well.

It was time for a new vehicle. I read Consumer Reports and spoke to family and friends. The first choice was a Mazda. I was met by John Pacheco at Midway Mazda. His first question to me was "what are your requirements"? Not only did he find a vehicle that met my requirements, he exceeded them. I was treated with honesty and respect. I am very happy with my purchase. I can honestly say I love my car. I highly recommend John Pacheco and Midway Mazda.

Just bough a new CX30 from Midway. I told James Li how much I wanted for my trade and how much I wanted to pay for a CX30 base model. He took 15 minutes to put a deal together where I got everything I wanted but a CX30 with awd and the lux package which included leather seats, a sunroof, 18" wheels etc. No fake back and forth between him and his manager playing good guy bad guy like they were doing at Ford and Toyota. He just got the job done and didn't waste time doing it.

The star of all this is definitely the Mazda CX30 though. This is as close to a dream car as there is. This is the first car I have purchased where buyers remorse didn't hit me a few days later. I honestly think I paid too little for this car. Its an absolute joy to own. I test drove every other car in its class and nothing even comes close. Do yourself a favor and take one out for a test drive.

I had recently purchased parts from here and when I got home to do my repairs I found that one of the parts were incorrect. Someone had placed old used unrelated parts in that box. I tried to talk to the dealer about this matter but unfortunately I was pushed away. I am now stuck with a $230 part that is not even for my car. I guess rule of thumb is to always open the boxes and check what's inside before you leave even when you purchase "O. E. M" parts from the dealer. Thanks for calling me a thief and enjoy the $230 Midway Mazda

I was contacted by operations Manager Evan a few days later and he made things right and ordered me a replacement part. I am now confident again to purchase parts from here in the future.

I had a lot of anxiety around car shopping, especially at a car dealer (I had only previously shopped privately for cars). I was so worried that car salespeople would be slimy. That was all refuted by my experience at Midway Mazda! I really felt like the whole team took care of us! Especially John Pacheco—he took the time to patiently answer all of the many (and, I mean “many”) questions that I had! I felt very supported to make the best choice for me! I will 100% return when I’m ready to buy my next car.

Bought a used 2015 Lexus rx350 at 150k kms from this place 6 months ago. After driving for a month engine light came on. I called them and told about it, they asked me to wait on it for a week cuz possibly it’s a fuel cap problem. I waited and the engine light did go away. It happened a couple of times more but the engine light went away after a few days every time. But I got worried and decided to show it to a mechanic, he found a cylinder misfire and advised me that it could be a bad ignition coil. He fixed the issue and reset the engine light but the light came on again after a few days. I went to different mechanic who told me one of the cylinders has low compression problem. So he says we are looking at a possible engine replacement and just can’t believe that a Lexus engine can go bad after driving just 158k kms.
I also asked him about the engine light going away, he told it does happen sometimes cuz it’s a six cylinder car and compression problem with one of the cylinders might not be detectable always if you aren’t idling for long times or running at very slow speeds.
I don’t know what to say, am so disappointed that I believed in their inspection checklist which said everything was absolutely fine about the car and bought it.
All I have driven this car is 8000kms, with most of the car loan still pending, it has turned out to be nightmare for me.

These guys place a massive paragraph in their craigslist adds containing every make and model of vehicle so that no matter what you search, you get bombarded with their ads. IF I'M LOOKING TO BUY A FORD RANGER, I'M DEFINETELY NOT GOING TO CONSIDER GETTING AN MX-5 OR A BRZ.

Had to get the brakes done. Picked up the car and smelled like burning brakes when I parked. Called Midway service and was told to bring it back. Brought it back a short while later and they immediately tossed it on the hoist. Service Manager called and stated that a rubber boot had gone haywire, which to them was odd, and needs to be replaced. Service Manager stated that both rear calipers will be done at no charge. Suffice to say that I was happy with no haggling for inconvience.

Went in to Midway without a clear idea of what I was looking for - which some might say is a dangerous thing! But John Pacheco was so forthright and willing to share ideas with me, and not pushy at all while showing me things in my budget that suited my vision. This is the first car in my life that I actually enjoyed purchasing and didn’t feel stressed about money or options because of a salesman’s agenda. John was great and I am in love with the car I got, and even more in love with the price!

I hate going to my dentist.
I also hate talking to lawyers.
But the thing I most hate is getting my car serviced.
However I stopped by Midway Mazda to ask a question about my wife's maintenance on her car. I spoke to Evan and it really changed my mind about dealership service.
He was helpful, informative, and friendly. A real triple threat.
I booked her car in and the service was amazing. I will be back again and again.

Purchasing a used vehicle at Midway Mazda very positive experience thanks to John Pachenko, who made the process comfortable for us from start to finish. He shared his expertise in a way that didn't feel like pressure and was more than patient when showing us how to use some of tech features that were new to us. We not only got a great vehicle that suits our needs, but when I picked it up on my birthday, my new car was there with a Happy Birthday balloon on it. John's a guy who goes above and beyond for his customers; I recommend you go see him.

So I'm starting this review on 3 different points, sales, parts and service.

Sales, the salesman I met was an elder gentleman that knows exactly what I was looking for, really professional and friendly, and never tried to upsell me anything. Even though I did not buy my car there eventually the salesman still did some follow-ups and greeted me on my new car.

Parts, the parts department even though they're connected to service but the staff I've met were super friendly too and helped me find what I need and one time guided me to another location where the item was in stock even though they're not making money out of it. (Hope I'm not getting some1 into trouble by saying this)

And service, I was in luck when I serviced a warranty issue, got diagnosed same day and the service guy filled all the paperwork and scheduled an appointment, just within one single visit. Also I'd like to point out that this warrantable item was quoted $1k at Signature Mazda in Richmond so don't ever visit there. They do wash your car after the service and even though the staff told me it's an marketing strategy (hopefully this one doesn't get those guys in trouble either) I do consider that as a plus. After all not much dealers would help you do extra when they can't get a penny out of your pocket.

I’ll admit I already kind of wanted to get the car they showed me but James still presented the car as a great investment. Sometimes that’s important too even though it might be something you want already. They knew our budget and when they saw us willing to consider something a bit more expensive, James took care to point out the differences as “perks” and not necessarily something I would miss on in the lower trim. We appreciated him and Alex making the process smooth on a Saturday evening no less! It’s 2020 and I appreciate people just putting on a smile at their workplace because.it’s tough lol.
