Michelin Rated and a MUST DO WHEN IN VANCOUVER! Their Iburi style Sushi is AMAZING (not exaggerating) and smoothe like buttah! Tofu Salad and their complimentary Scallop on a spoon were fantastic! Servers are extremely knowledgeable and you should ask them what their favorites are (they know their sushi!) #Mabuhay Tell them Tita sent you!

The restaurant cancelled our reservation 15 minutes before booking. Terrible experience and I wouldn't have expected this considering the high ratings.

Too overpriced for what it is.

The service is very good.

The food is quite average.

Physically the floor, chairs and decoration were quite bad.

I took a former colleague visiting Vancouver for lunch. It was a good choice besides walking distance from her hotel.

We missed the lunch crowd with our late lunch at 1430. I ordered the chirashi tart and my colleague the chicken katsu.

My chirashi tart was immaculately presented in a tight stack of layers of rice and fresh seafood. Service was very attentive.

It's a good place for to entertain guests.

Excellent sushi, sashimi, ngiri and other goodies. Wonderful fresh flavor. Top notch. If you are visiting Vancouver stop by. We loved it.

The chirashi tart was very good. The sable fish however was served with pickled vegetables and risotto, not as good as sushi rice.

This restaurant is so fancy, food are spectacular. Sushi and sashimi are so fresh but it’s a bit pricy. Great view and suitable for special occasions.

Ordered through uber eats for dinner tonight. I got the garden bento. It was a very nice variety of almost all of the vegetarian items on the menu. I didn't recieve any soy sauce so a few of the items were a bit lacking.
The gomae was very bland. The rolls and other vegetable items were delicious.

I wrote in another review that I did A LOT of research before committing to four different restaurants in four nights - it's our first time to Vancouver and the week of our 25th wedding anniversary. I wanted every dinner to be special.

While Miku was nice, I'm not sure it lived up to what we were hoping for.

Don't get me wrong,   this place has a lot going for it, but I think it was the little things that kept it from being truly "special".

Sure, it has a view.but of the ship yard and cruise ship port.

The food was good.but nothing over the top or mind-blowing (except for the amuse bouche that they served which was off menu - INCREDIBLE) - we did edamame, the signature selection, and a surf and turf roll.

The table wanted soy sauce for the sushi.the server said the chef had seasoned things properly (let's just say we'll agree to disagree). I understand the sentiment, but really? In this day and age?

They wished us a happy anniversary with a desert.but they wrote 26, not 25

Again, this place was good, but a few misses on the finer details would lead us somewhere else the next time we come to Vancouver.

Very over priced have had much better for much less, I do get its in the top location but would expect much better flavor.

This place is top notch. Every bite is a heavenly unexpected flavourful experience. The ambiance and the service are very good. I highly recommend for a special occasion or even for a casual lunch. It became one of my favourites restaurant.

You can never go wrong with this place. Food is always perfect and a great lunch spot. Make sure to get the Green Tea Opera for dessert.

A beauty in Vancouver. They have these unique amazing sushi options that are just delicious. Also their own soy sauce! The service is great, and fast when you think how busy they are! The staff gave me great suggestions!

The 175 Holiday Kaiseki menu is definitely worth trying! You will get a taste of everything with great quality over the 7 course meal.

Condescending.they tell what & how to eat. Vancouver is full of better choices. Mediocre taste. Tourist location. I suggest eating at Nova sushi.

Ambience and view are great. Service is amazing. But the crispy Brussel sprouts were too spicy and caused some stomach issues later

The food is absolutely amazing and the view is also great. Very friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend the Salmon Oshi Sushi and the Green Tea Opera.

Friends and I have been loyal customers for years and spent a fortune here. Customer service tonight, including management intervention, was so shockingly appalling we will never eat here again. Ever. Sad to see another Vancouver landmark go down the drain.

Had a fantastic birthday lunch here with a great view. Great atmosphere, service, and fresh seafood. Reservations are a must now due to pandemic dining. The Coal Harbour Platter was the most memorable dish on the lunch menu

Coal Harbour Platter- this was my favorite and most memorable dish on the menu. The seafood was so fresh and it's a fantastic value. Highly recommend

Premium sushi- this was good, but I thought the Coal Harbour platter was much better. The sushi was good, but the sashimi was what was best here, and I would recommend to order more sashimi dishes

Lunch shokai- this was basically the premium sushi lunch with 2 appetizers. Our 2 appetizers came with the ebi fritters and sablefish. I thought the appetizers were much better than the sushi plate

Bottom Line
Had a wonderful birthday lunch with the great views, atmosphere, and food at Miku. I would recommend their appetizers and Coal Harbour platter for lunch. I know the premium sushi is popular, but I would steer toward more raw foods and appetizers

Delicious sushi and a wonderful space. Plenty of excellent choices for different rolls and some of the freshest sushi & nagiri that I’ve had

The best smoked sushi in town. This is my comfort food. The service are great though on our recent dine in, our server talked very fast and not looking to us while talking. So i need to ask him to repeat several times. The food are delicious and fresh so i still gave 5 star. I will keep on coming back.

Went to miku for lunch, we made reservations a few days ahead of time

we parked in the garage attached to canada place, $12 for 1.5 hours

had the lunch shokai, which came with a variety of sushi pieces from aburi to rolls to nigiri, all were phenomenal

the salmon aburi was particularly good so we did an additional 6 pieces of that and finished with the petit green tea opera

Spectacular food and amazing staff & service makes this one of the best restaurant experiences we've had. I cannot recommend Miku enough!

I'm ordering my food using Uber.
But demand is so late that Uber drivers complain about the delay in ordering this restaurant.
That's annoying.

Did take out, so cant talk about the in person experience (the resto is very big, kinda gives the wrong impression for a sushi place as most great sushi places are small). The quality and value of the different sushis/sashimis and rolls are unbeatable. You cannot miss here. (Take out anyhow). The fish is melt in your mouth.

They have absolutely amazing food. I loved trying all of the flavours in their Japanese style cuisine. The atmosphere of the restaurant matches the food. The service was hospitable.

We ordered delivery through ubereats and it was amazing sushi! We ordered the Sumire Platter and it was delicious! Mouth watering! We wanted to dine-in but opted for delivery because of time-constraint. Price was reasonable, well-within the budget! Highly recommended!

Unimpressed with the texture of their rice. Food composition and prices are both excessive, if that's what you're looking for. The view off the patio is nice.

Really expensive (for me anyways) but it was delicious. I got the six course dinner menu and I thought everything was great. However the portions were small - expected of fine dining - and the food that wasn't sushi wasn't quite as good as the rest. Enjoyed it but might just get the sushi separately instead of the full course.

Miku is a fancy Japanese restaurant which I always want to try. My auntie's family invited me to have a feast last week. IT'S A HIT! All the dishes had beautiful presentation. Sushi are different designed from other sushi place, very pretty. All the ingredients are fresh and well prepared. My fave is the spot prawn, very fresh, very sweet, very yummy. The price was on the expensive side yet worth to try. I love everything in the restaurant except the teapot, doesn't match the fancy place.

This restaurant is great! The food was really tasty. The price of the good is reasonable. On the more expensive side but still worth it. It's not too expensive though. The sashimi was really fresh and smooth tasting. I would highly recomend booking a reservation as it can get busy

Amazing salmon oshi sushi and miso soup. Try sitting at the sushi bar to catch a glimpse of their bustling kitchen. Fantastic service, great atmosphere, and expensive prices, but totally worth going back there.

We came from out of town in 2016 for Valentine's Day. A buddy in Vancouver recommended this place to me, luckily it was near our hotel. We loved it - the food, the service and atmosphere was amazing! We came back for our 3rd anniversary dinner on Nov 29,2018. This time, we got a harbor view while enjoying yummy food, I was excited to have their green tea opera dessert again. Our waitress and Miku made the surprise proposal from my boyfriend a fantastic memory to remember!

Very popular place. Great decor and dining atmosphere. I'm usually not a fan of luxury/fine dining but this place really impressed me. It was about $170 for the food in the photos and a drink, but yet it felt worth it. The sushi is full of flavour and freshness. Amazing. Would visit again in the future.

I came last night with a friend for the first time, and due to the service it will be my last. It was over 15 minutes of waiting at the bar until someone took the drink and appy order! Once i finished with my empty plate I waited another 10-15 because it was never taken away. No offers for foood and drink were made (you don't want my money?). Even after the bill was payed the plate was still there! Was it because you were short staffed? Too busy for you to handle? Where was the bar cash till at 5: 30pm? Or was it because the wait staff were too busy chatting with their off shift friends?

Overall, food and drink tasted fine. Cooks in the kitchen were professional and worked with a swift and steady hand.

Food is good, service is alright. Price is very high. For the amount I pay for the food, I do expect better all around but it’s still one of the best tasting sushi in Vancouver

The recommendation to eat at Miku was made by our concierge at the Delta Suites hotel and a recommendation it was! We normally plan our meals well in advance. So getting this type of recommendation was a real treat. Miku's dining experience was one of the best for the year and our top sushi restaurant for 2018. Miku's is busy. You will need reservations. The restaurant is on the waterfront and in walking distance of most places downtown. We decided to have the Holiday pre fixe menu with sake pairing. After a long drive from Seattle we wanted some one else to make the decisions. Wow what a treat. There were a total of four courses with numerous types of sushi during each course along with a unique pairing of sake to go along. Miku is known for its 'box' nigiri, which at first sight looks like something you'd find in a lower end all you can eat sushi joint. Do not let that fool you. These pieces of sushi are incredible - the fish melts in your mouth and is delicious.

Great Aburi style sushi and awesome desserts. I particularly like Chirashi tart, which is like a small sushi cake. Green tea opera cake is fantastic way to finish the meal. Pricy, but worth it. Very busy place, so book ahead or come after 130pm for lunch.

I could not recommend this place more! It is gorgeous (the decor and the views) and the service is wonderful, but it is all about the food! We loved what we had so much that we ordered a second round

Always can't get enough of the aburi sushi! Also, I brought in a cake for my friends birthday with sprinkles as the candles. This were cool with it, and added decoration when cutting the cake!

Nice service. Food was ok. Plates were a little bothersome: felt like eating off chalkboard at times. The golden, sparkly dessert was amazing! I think a crab or clam soup would have made the kaiseki meal feel complete. Nice experience, but won't be back.

This super fancy place is a must in Vancouver if you are a sushi lover, their proposal isn’t as wide as the typical sushi restaurants one, but it’s quite wide and it range from typical sushi rolls to their typical aburi, including many other types of entrees and appetizer.
The portion are relatively small, so, if you always have a big appetite as I do, be prepared to spend at least 60 to 70$ per person; on the other side, the chefs and the waiters are fast and well organized, so you are most likely not going to wait a lot. The sushi is good, well-cooked, fresh and well presented, and the location is stunning

Don’t miss any of the desserts, they are simply amazing!

Way overrated and brutally overpriced. The view is amazing, but the food is not nearly as high end as they think it is. The servers seem really snooty also. Not worth it in my opinion.
