Milano Espresso Lounge

What an absolute gem of a place! We had some business in town and although I haven't been the gas town area in over 20 years, this was a beautiful find. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and our coffees were made with extra care. I definitely love the atmosphere of this place and was surprised to see that they get so much traffic. Will definitely be back again next time I'm in British Columbia

Hands down the best coffee in Vancouver. They make incredible lattes and the espresso is always super on point.

The vibe is very pleasant with the exposed brick wall, plus they always play really nice music too.
One time I went there and they had a DJ playing really smooth and jazzy hip hop and had a trumpet he was playing and looping over the beats.

Really cool to see how they incorporated live music into the environment while still keeping a nice & chill coffee shop appropriate atmosphere.

Nice room with a variety of seating. Coffee is a bit dark and bitter for my taste as a black Americano, but I expect milk-based drinks like a cappuccino or macchiato would be great.

I cannot speak any ill of this place. It is consistent, the temperature is comfy, the staff are always lovely, and the only fluctuations I’ve ever observed are in the circumstance of entitled Vancouver patrons asking for too much, or people with too firm a grasp on their ego/identity. Park your Tesla elsewhere. If you go here looking for a great coffee, and treat people with kindness, you are guaranteed a good experience. The coffee is the best, and that is the closest thing to an absolute truth I can offer. Respect, Milano!

Great drinks, most of the food and snacks are really good, and the service is friendly. The atmosphere is cool, sometimes it gets busy but you can usually find a good spot to work or chat. The only gripe is that prices are a bit high for the food and baked goods.

Love the Milano espresso bar. It's been one of my favorites for a long time. Have been to all of their locations. They are truly a different level when it comes down to esspresso blend coffee beans. You get to choose from 2 to 3 different options of esspresso blends when you order your esspresso drinks, which is very unique in vancouver. If I don't know them, I usually ask to smell the beans and talk to them about it. One of my favorites is the butter blend, which is out of this world. They usually have 2 kinds of popular esspreso blends and one reserved option, which is the maestro's pick usually for +$0.25 on rotation. They have rotating beans, and all the flavor and taste profiles of each bean they serve and sell are on the walls to check out. You get to learn a lot about coffee just by visiting this place.

An exceptionally high quality products and selection. They serve all sorts of fun flavored mocha lattes, smoothies, sandwiches, and pastries as well. It would have been a great plus and a lovely experience if they'd matched their pastry quality with the high-end esspresso they serve.

It's so cute in here! Lots of tables to study or meet up with someone. The drinks are great and so was the pastries!
