Have done one assignment to date with Mile HR, and it was straightforward and simple. The work was as described, and anyone I dealt with we're extremely transparent.

I regretted even phoning in, waste of time! I had seen a few jobs of interest on their website but wanted to learn more before applying due to the vague postings, and I wanted to ensure I was a good fit before giving my resume to a 3rd party agency. As someone looking to make a career switch for the first time in 10 years with excellent experience to back up my credentials, I expected to be taken more seriously by a recruiter. Took days of repeat phone calls just to get someone to answer the phone, then when I finally spoke with a sweet but clearly inexperienced young girl on the phone, she was unable to elaborate on any of the job postings, and in fact told me most of the ones of interest to me weren’t even available and hadn’t been for quite some time. False advertising isn’t usually a good start, but I stayed optimistic and continued the call. Gave an overview of my skills and experience and what I was looking for but was treated more like a burden/inconvenience than anything so decided to cut my losses and take myself elsewhere as nothing about my experience fostered trust (definitely NOT sharing my personal info after this)

Given the difficulty being able to reach this agency in the first place paired with the level of unprofessionalism given to me on the phone, I recommend steering clear. This whole ordeal was now a few weeks ago and I’m happy to say I spoke with 3 separate agencies after this call, (all of which treated me with the manner of respect and professionalism I expected), and am now a week into an excellent permanent placement… NOT through Miles HR. (They also told me it would be hard for them to find me a permanent role, don’t trust them - cause I found one!)

Incredibly rude staff on a couple occasions as of late. I have politely phoned in a couple times to speak with a recruiter about options and openings. Just wanted to discuss availability’s and get treated like a human being, but you won’t find that here. They represent everything that’s wrong with HR these days. People are people, treat them as such. I’ve dealt with many recruiters and agencies over my career and this one simply doesn’t sit right with me.

I am very happy and would highly recommend using Miles HR. I applied for a job with Miles HR and got contacted by Alex. She has been very supportive during the whole process. I passed the interview and got the job. Thank you Alex and Thank you Miles HR.
