Mill Bay Ferry Terminal

Half the staff friendly and very nice.half the staff need to think about getting out of working with the public.

Happened upon this when the GPS sent us a "shortcut" it was the best part of the weekend, felt like stepping back in time. Love every minute of the 20 minute ride.

For 1st time taking. I was very happy about price and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be taking again. Plus can goto thrifty to get tickets even cheaper. So looking forward to taking again

Convenient ferry. Sometimes the line is long as the ferry only holds about 19 cars. There is free wifi at the terminal.

Went to pick the ferry to Brentwood Bay.
There is basically nothing there, just the ferry dock. It's a small ferry. Only fits 19 cars at the time

The thing no where to park for pick up or drop off. The walk drop the dock is to hard for the elderly to walk up that hill

Although the Mill Bay Terminal is typically a non-event, the MV Klitsa and the jovial greeter/ticket collector were exemplary!

This should not be the first option to travel from the Schwartz Bay Ferry Terminal This ferry is not dependable costs money and not saving time The first option should be to use the Malahat to travel to northern Vancouver Island destinations

Cannot say too much about it aside from the fact that the sailings were canceled for the day when I arrived. I had to notify 5 cars ahead of my that they will need to drive as no boat is coming: (

The staff are sooooo friendly and helpful. One employee waves at every single car leaving and does it with a genuine heart.
The ride between Mill Bay and Brentwood Bay is beautiful and very affordable. Seniors (Canadian citizens) walk on free from Monday to Thursday. That something you just don't see. Love you BC Ferry staff!

Saved our bacon after an accident on the highway all but closed it. We managed to get to our flight thank to the ferry. Only $14 for two on foot!

We were advised to use this little ferry by a local information centre in Duncan. It saved us a 50km main road journey through busy Victoria, on our way from Nainamo to Swartz Bay. The ferry only had three other vehicles on, and our RV Rental (27ft) went on very smoothly. The ticket and gate staff were very friendly and helpful and a lady we had git talking to paid for our transit with some vouchers she had! Saved us 41 Dollars! From the UK.what a beautiful country Canada is! Highly recommend!

Way to avoid the Malahat! We had a fantastic experience as I brought my youngest across. Very polite and outgoing.got lots of stickers my me little girl. Great short trip over

Love this little ferry. The staff on it are always great. It's super scenic and cuts out a big chunk of the not-so-pleasant drive around - and with fuel prices these days, the cost is almost a wash.

Best shortcut from here over to Brentwood Bay and same on the way back. No driving the Malahat. BONUS

About what you would expect for a small ferry terminal but I didn't like that the place for walk on passengers was only a half cover, so since it was raining we still God sprayed a lot however it is cool that you can just pay for your ticket there with debit doesn't seem like cash is much of an option though

Just the basics don't need a lot of high fluten ticket booths, Just a nice simple place place to be the beginning of a super great little voyage most enjoyable enjoyable always a great experience never get rid of the mill Bay Brentwood ferry it's priceless

Beautiful way to start a Sunday.peaceful dock and beautiful scenery. Definitely nice to avoid the malahat chaos.

We love this place. The Mill Bay ferry is a beautiful 30 minute ride to Brentwood Bay in Saanich on an open ferry, about 35 cars, washroom facilities.

Great way to get across the inlet quickly and avoid the dense traffic and drive over the Malahat. Highly recommend you take the time to enjoy this quick scenic boat trip across the water and drink in the ocean breeze.

I arrived here from Brentwood bay ferry terminal, it is a nice little trip both ways! Was quite relaxed as a foot passenger, as many travel and stay in their car. Great views:)

Very friendly staff. The ferry is so quiet, I didn't realise it was going for the first 15 min!

I like catching the ferry home when I'm working in Sidney. It eliminates the worst part of the drive home, and you can grab a drink and/or a meal if you like and wait and watch the Ferry come in

Get your tickets ahead of time at Saanichton Thriftys they are cheaper.

Small, no booth because you pay onboard or the attendent before boarding. Cool shortcut to avoid the Malahat of course.
