Mind Game

I love game stores, but I found that each time I've came into this store, none of the staff has ever acknowledged me. The last 3 times I've walked in here there has never been a greeting so it's pretty unwelcoming having the staff just talk amongst themselves behind the counter.

Love Mind Games. The staff are not only helpful but passionate about the games they play. We always stop by when at Metrotown!

Boutique prices make it a little expensive but staff were friendly and knew their business

Great selection of games, manager had a spreadsheet to help you pick games based on your preference which was very helpful.

Tiny little game & hobby shop in the mall. Fairly good selection, surprisingly large selection of MTG products if you play.

Very friendly staff. Anita was the best! She went out of her way to demo a game for us and shared all kinds of helpful advice about the board games we'd like.

Nice store with a variety of games, figures, etc. Located a bit off the main corridor, which is probably why it's less busier than other stores but definitely worth a visit

Knowledgeable staff, who are very helpful; without being pushy! There are regularly new games, and during the slow seasons they seem to have demos

I’ve only been in a few times but I’ve noticed the staff are good at what they do. Their board game selection is not the greatest but they have some good titles and the prices are actually really good, considering they’re in Metro.

The people there are so nice. I felt really welcome. The prices and variety of items are good too.

OVER PRICED! Do Not Buy Pokemon Cards here they sell them for 2-3 times the price. Manager lied and said $73 Pokemon tin was a good deal. However, you can get the same Pokemon tin for $30 at CHAPTERS. Also, they do NO REFUNDS. I don't recommend shopping here.

Fun, clean store. Good inventory for store size with friendly staff and better prices than some other stores in the same mall.

This shop is my favorite place to get tabletop games and gifts. They have something for every age, and the people there are always nice and willing to help you find exactly what you're looking for. It's not common in many shops that the sales associate can make genuine small talk with you, they all clearly put in the effort to connect with you.

If you are looking for the latest and greatest board games and funko pops this is a definite stop for funko! They are enthusiastic and awesome to talk to and get help from!

This location is one of my favorite places to get Funko Pops and games. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It is one of my must shop (or browse) every time I go to Metrotown.

Just walked in for a new puzzle to get us through the pandemic and walked out with so much more! The staff there were awesome and really new their product. Very knowledgeable. Anita was awesome! Thank you for all your help.

Went in with landlord in search of a new hobby as destress options.

The nice staff is very enthusiastic, recommended my friend metal model crafting kit.

Now please imagine thread a 1 mm long aluminum string into a aluminum needle hole. Now repeat it 30 times to build a house of card with only that needle for security, make sure all 30 of them are secured and not bent out of shape or else some part will not fit:) It was so much fun.

It was the opposite of intro and destress. We “finished” the kit more stressed then ever, but at least the staff was enthusiastic.

Went with my boyfriend a few times now and the service is always fantastic! They're very kind and knowledgeable on what we were looking for, even doing some research for us to find what would be the best options. I think we ended up staying over half an hour just chatting with them about MTG, they're great at their jobs! We always stop by when we visit the mall now

Staff are knowledgeable and welcoming! My daughter, son and I all enjoy stopping in any time we're at the mall!

Great store and staff. Very engaging and very informative. They know their product very well. They have alot of selection of games and collectables.

Looks like they have a great selection and nice customer service, but it's clear that the stickers they put on Funko Pops are hard to remove and take some of the box with it.not a good idea as most people collect Funkos. Definitely would have bought a few if this wasn't the case.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Went in to look at their board game collection. Mostly newer or popular board games. I'd recommend calling in to check for stock if you're looking for something specific that are more obscure

They told my wife if she returned the product before 7 days they’ll give her the money back.
She went to return it and they said it was a “mistake” and they only offer store credit. Wow, what a way to scam people. Please before buying anything there go to amazon.ca and you’ll find better price for the same product. Really disappointed, we wanted to support local business but they took advantage of us.

Playing fireboy and watergirl 2 on many platforms but somehow, hudgames still be the best one. Hope to get more great games here.

Cool store, however bad customer service. I bought an item an the second I was leaving the store, like a minute after, a staff member rudely asked if I had payed for the item, in front of my family and other customer, s I got nervous so I couldn't the ticket right away, then he yells all the way across the store if I had played for the item, after that I found the ticket on my back pocket, thanks for the free humiliation. Also check for the prices online first.

Helpful, approachable staff who are very knowledable. Being able to demo a game before purchasing is a plus. My go to place for games.

I love the staff here! I didn't like the old store, but now they carry all sorts of Geeky paraphernalia and it's wonderful!

A great place for game needs! The staff are helpful and friendly and know what the are talking about. Great selection of things in the store and I always manage to find what I need. Lots of cute smaller things that make great gifts also.

Super knowledgeable and friendly staff, with a selection of board games unequalled elsewhere in the mall. Sure, other stores may also carry big-name games, but nowhere else can you find D&D books or more specialty board games. An absolute must-visit for any tabletop fans in the mall.

Tons of different toys and games, even some fun toys that a toddler could enjoy! Good prices too, even Pokemon cards that were very well priced!

Really cool game selection, I've been getting more into board games with my family, and they have a ton of great games here, especially smaller lesser known games, so if you want to get more into board games other than just monopoly, you can probably find something for yourself here with the help of the staff. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about their games, you cant go wrong here.

Large variety of card games, board games, puzzles, etc.and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you don't know exactly what game you want they are very eager to give recommendations.
