This store has such a good variety items! The staff at this store are also so sweet and friendly!

Yet another wonderful experience at Mind Games Coquitlam. This store makes it so easy to walk in, ask the helpful staff for what I want, and be taken directly to it. I appreciate being handed to product for inspection, the soft upsell of related products in a low pressure way, and having my items carried up to cash. It's a truly luxurious and old-school way to shop, and I love every moment of it.

I can’t say much about the other products, but if you want to buy any diy kits for the miniature houses or something similar, I recommend treehouse toys instead because their prices are more reasonable. One of the kits was around 70 dollars (without tax) while that exact kit in treehouse toys was 50. They also don’t have refunds.

I use to really like going here to get funko pops a couple years back but recently and by recently I mean like since 2021 they increased the prices on funkos by quite a bit to where it’s higher than retail price. It was like that before but mainly for the funkos that were typically harder to find but now even just funkos that are new coming out that you can easily find elsewhere for their retail price they would be charging them here for a extra 5 dollars. It’s disappointing when I walk by the place and see a funko I like just to see that it’s being charged so much then it should be. I still come here from time to time just to see if there’s anything worth getting but it’s definitely the last place I check funko wise now and before I had good experience with staff at this place but now in the past couple months it’s been terrible customer service

I received a Christmas gift from a mind games store. My mother in law double checked with the people at the location in Victoria that if I didn’t like the puzzle or already owned it I’d be able to exchange it at a location in Vancouver. The employee informed my mother in law that I would be able to exchange it at any other location. Well turns out the employees didn’t know about a soon to happen policy change and they wouldn’t do it. Now I’m stuck with a duplicate puzzle and my mother in law is livid with the mind games that told her otherwise. If you change a policy that is completely understandable. But you should honour the purchases made before the policy change that are still within the dates. Lost a customer and will never ever recommend to buy anything for yourself or gifts for others from mind games ever again.

Careful! I had a product on pre-order for $280 but once it arrived they pulled a bait & switch and increased the price to $360! Cost of goods didn't increase its just pure greed because it turns out there was low supply so they thought they could squeeze more money from their customers. Found another local store that sold the same product for $250.45% less! Buyer beware!

I called the store today and asked for a certain item for my sister for a gift, the person on the phone that I later learned has red hair, (I went to the store 15 minutes later to check for myself) was not interested in helping and was rude. He hanged the phone up on me before I said thank you, but that was before he had the time to be condescending and belittling in his tone of voice, like everyone who calls the store is stupid. I used to like going here but I would rather pay double the price then deal with this toxic person. It's time they find new staff that cares.

Hannah helps when asked, doesn't offer. Today only time ever been offered help/customer service. Not the friendliest store.

Pretty good. The staff is nice, but I wish the stuff weren't so pricey. But other then that, the stuff is very organised and we'll looking!

These guys are amazing! So friendly! They helped me check the prices of their pops without grumble. They were very knowledgeable about prices, and current trends and shared about their passions for similar shows! Hands down a fantastic experience and I will be coming back here regularly! I mean, this store has some cool stuff and good games. Staff were also friendly and I don't have a problem with them, I do however have a problem with the return policy. Bought a drone there today that barely works, and their policy is no refunds only exchange for in-store credit which is too bad. Its also too bad that they would sell products that are defective out of the box and not even give a one day refund policy. Once again, the staff is not the issue in fact they are the reason for the extra star. The company's policy is the issue.

Excellent staff! Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I knew I wanted a new board game but didn't know which one; was approached by a staff member who asked great questions about my tastes and offered a game I had never heard of that looked great! Also they put tournament winners faces on the Magic banners and that alone is quite a treat!

Overcharge for their products by more than 20%, other retailers are selling exact products at much lower prices.

They do not accept returns for refunds under any circumstances. Prices in store are significantly higher than their online listings. When questioned about it a staff member said "the benefit is having it in your hands immediately" Why do I need to pay an additional 15% for that ''luxury''? That is not how any other retail stores work.

Will be shopping elsewhere! Save your money.

I really had a good experience with this store, first off, lots off good stuff. Secondly, I had gotten a 3000 piece jigsaw puzzle from them a few days ago and found out that the pieces were misaligned. I went back and they gave me store credit in exchange with no hesitation. Thank you:)

Excellent selection of boardgames, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and made some great suggestions.

Has great games for all ages and they sell mask that my child likes and doesn't complain about wearing. FINALLY!
