Ming's Garden

Went to Ming’s garden for lunch not expecting much but this place blew my socks off. It’s not often that every dish you order at a restaurant comes out perfect and delicious but Ming’s garden did it. I’m a vegetarian and I had plenty of options. We got a mini portion of hoisin deep fried Ouf thinking it would be a small, dry starter. Nope, it was a full scale entree with lots of sauce. Also got the vegetable chow mein crispy. Omg. So freaking good. And lastly, whenever I see an eggplant dish at a Chinese restaurant I make sure to get it. They had an eggplant hotpot and my husband had to hold me back from licking the plate.

Ming is super nice as well and the food came very very fast. I’m new to Vancouver and haven’t repeated a single restaurant yet, but this one I’m going back to within a week!

Absolutely horrendous food. "Shredded" pork chow mein looked like microwaved instant noodle with a few bean sprouts in. No chance that thing saw the surface of a wok. The plate and chopsticks felt sticky to the touch.

Pleasantly surprised! I had a late takeout cream corn, and wonton soups as my partner had a surgery and needed to eat something homie and comforting. They were so tasteful and delicious! Great value for my money, super pleasant and attentive customer service and relatively fast service. I will certainly go back.

This restaurant is tucked away on Marine drive. Best Chinese food on the North Shore hands down. Lily is very friendly and she always recommends great authentic dishes especially Szechwan dishes. I travel from Burnaby just for their food. Very affordable which is a bonus

Good food good service. Reasonably priced and consistent. We order from them at least once a month.
