Scamming customers and not taking responsibility for their work. 100% do not recommend this place for anyone unless you wanna pay hundreds of dollars for low quality and unreliable work.

Recently I have a very positive experience there. My budget was very limited and my brakes were, to say it politely, not up to the par. Despite all this the entire staff led by Adrian and Chris went above and beyond to make sure that my car would be safe to drive at the end of the day and within the budget. I truly appreciated their professionalism and friendly manner. Two thumbs up and I recommend their service very highly. Fantastic service! Thanks.

I went in for a simple alignment adjustment and tire inspection. Not only did they not fix the issue but my steering had new problems after their time with the car. They told me some non sense about my tires and didn't even bother to fix/change them.
I took my car to toyota open road dealership and they fixed everything like it was brand new.
I wouldn't come here and complain about it, but I almost got into a horrible accident due to their irresponsible neglect.
I cannot believe that someone would put people's lives at danger just because they want to earn a quick buck.
Appalling.
Avoid this place if you value your time and money.

Recently my car had some engine issues due to the worn out spark plugs in my car. I went to Mr. Lube to get it fixed but unfortunately 2 of the 4 spark plugs were stuck inside. Mr. Lube suggested that I go to Minit Tune and brake to get the issue resolved. So when I went there, they estimated that to get my car working again and the spark plugs removed would be $5000 total which is an absolute scam. They said their labour cost alone is $2100 and the new parts required is additional $2900.

Luckily my dad talked some sense into me and I brought it to Vancouver brake and wheel. They fixed up the spark plug issues for only $526. I don’t recommended anyone going to Minit Tune and Brake unless they don’t mind getting scammed.

I’m from out of town and he offered to look at it that day. Needed front rotors and again offered to do it that day. Fantastic service and normal rates. Much appreciated!

I've come in twice and the quality of service was constant. They did a great job fitting us in short notice both times. I don't live in the area but come here for family. If I ever need a repair they will be my first choice, I have already recommended them.

Service I get every time at this Minit Tune is amazing, Adrian has great communication, keeps me updated on my vehicles repairs. The mechanics are honest, and always show me the old parts and explain why they had to be repaired. Numerous times the staff have gone above and beyond for me. It’s very much appreciated!

I was a customer of Minit-tune and paid to have a presale-check done on a car from a seller from craigslist. Scott Roe was not a customer of this business, he was a second hand car seller who was trying to sell me his car, I was the customer.

I was very happy with the service that Minit-Tune gave me, thankfully they saved me a lot of money. The seller had made the car sound a lot better than it was in actual fact, and there were lots of repairs it needed and would have cost me lots of money if I had bought it, especially for the asking price which was pretty expensive.

I left Minit-Tune totally satisfied and feeling so relieved I had gone there as they went over the car in a very detailed and responsible way and did not hold back in letting me know what was wrong with the car.

They were not pushy at all in terms of trying to get the seller or myself to get the car fixed there they even offered him advice on how he could fix it themselves. They didn't tell me not to buy the car but they did advise that it might be better to have him fix the issues before I bought it so I didn't run into big costs in repairs too soon down the road.

I am so glad that I visited minit-tune, the advice they gave me was so helpful, and professional, it really seemed like they had my best interest as the customer in mind. They even gave me helpful tips on where to look for second hand cars and what to look for! And at the end of the day Minit-Tune saved me a tonne of money and time by letting me know what was wrong with the car I was having checked.

Awesome staff, Adrian is very knowledgeable, their tech guys are experts, their rates are very reasonable too! They took care of my 2008 FJ cruiser promptly, I did my complete 4x4 drive train fluids flushed out here and they did a few more jobs that I didn’t not even ask for, at no cost! Very nice and helpful tune up shop, fast and responsive people working here, highly recommending location!

We highly recommend this Minit-Tune location as we’ve used them twice and both times Adrian and the Mechanics were extremely, HONEST, Personable, Friendly and Informative. They go out of their way to diagnose the problem accurately making sure you are involved in every step, they also call around to get you the best rate on any necessary parts! They are now our go to Mechanic Shop!

Great experience at Minit-Tune! Very friendly and professional. They give the most honest opinions and make helpful recommendations. I have visited several repair shops in the area and Minit-Tune was definitely the best in terms of value and honesty!

Super friendly and honest! Adrian was awesome and showed me all the parts (break pads and rotors) and explained why it needed to be fixed. He also sent me picture updates to keep me in the loop. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, I will definitely be going back to this Minit Tune location.

Expect delays, parts aren't always delivered on time and I had to wait 45 minutes past the estimated completion time. Otherwise, it's a good shop and I'll take my car back there again when I can be more flexible about turnaround times.

Perfect place to send someone you hate.

Tried to scam me with a bait and switch. Offered to match someone else's lower prices on tire change and then tripled the price when I got there. No apologies just take it or leave it with a smug **** you look.

Some of these reviews are fake, but the real ones should be taken seriously. Don't send someone you care about here.

These are good guys! Got some work done and turned out a part was faulty. They took care of us with no issues. Always show the parts and explain the issues. No hassle and good workmanship. I would go back.

I'm the kinda guy that works on my own car. This time I had a after market warranty with my vehicle so I needed to find a good mechanic. I had to have my rack and pinion replace on my Ford Explorer. I believe I chose right. These guys are professional and well priced. They even provided me a car for free. I would recommend these guys any day and if I need help I will return there again. Worst experience ever at a mechanic. I brought my car in for the replacement of front brakes and 1 1/2 hrs later they called me to say the inspection was finished! What about the brakes! And then they tried to upsell around $1000 dollars of unnecessary work. They wasted my time and then had the audacity to say" we wont charge you for the inspection".

Had a great experience. I got two filters replaced, an oil change and some other maintenance done. I’m usually skeptical about mechanics but I had a good feeling here. Adrian was very transparent with their pricing and made sure I knew what exactly needed to be done and why. Very happy with their service, price was good. Will definitely be back!

This is a friendly place. They are a small personal operation that is independent of the car dealership. They are professional and always fix my car right the first time. Price is fair.

I have been going to Coquitlam Minit-Tune for over 12 years. I have always found the operators (Peter and now Eddie) and mechanics (Grant and Adrian) to be honest. They are thorough and often locate problems during regular maintenance before things get worse. Then they take the time to explain the issue and advise on options and they let me decide on what do do. No one enjoys paying for repairs, but it is a part of car ownership and it is best to do business with people with integrity
