Incredible views! The tide pools are really something to behold. Very well maintained facilities as well. Definitely worth a visit! The campgrounds are clean and level, great for tent camping and RVs alike. There is also an area for RVs to empty their water tanks and fill back up again (though there is a $5 discharge fee, only payable with loonies and toonies, so make sure you bring change.)
Nice campground with hot showers and flush toilets. There were a lot of kids when we visited, and they all looked that they were having fun on their bikes and playing in the playground. The beach is really nice and there's a good ice cream place near the campground too.
Such a beautiful beach and good park amenities. The day use area features bathrooms with flush toilets and beach showers so that you can get the salt and sand off.
It’s our family’s first time to camp using tent, my kids had so much fun specially on the bike trail, definitely gonna comeback here for our next camping trip, worth the travel indeed!
Pros: - Lovely park and campground - Our neighbor campers respects quiet times - Campground staff is available for questions (at gatehouse)
We camped here and have a great experience. It's far from where I live but worth the drive. The close proximity of the campground to the beach is great. The outhouses and shower building are well maintained.
A deer roaming in the campground adds value to the experience.
Only cons: - having to drive to explore other places other than the beach - no ferry reservation and we end up waiting for a ferry till the following day (it's long weekend and not the campground's fault) - Some sites are pretty far from the beach and might have to drive
I like miracle beach. Been here a few times with grandchildren. When it’s time for kids to go home with parents… the grandparents can go on their 20k step walk through the most wonderful forest trails. Really wonderful.
