Miraku Japanese Restaurant

Fresh fish, perfectly done rice, the food was so good I forgot to take photos! Prawn tempura was some of the best I’ve ever had and the miso was high quality which I appreciate as many restaurants skip out on it. Prices are good and definitely worth the quality of ingredients. Staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for sushi.

I recently visited this sushi restaurant and I must say, it is hands down the best sushi place in town! The quality of the food was exceptional and every dish we ordered was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious.

The sushi rolls were bursting with flavor and the texture of the rice was perfect. I also really enjoyed the jalapeño poppers which were fresh and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The presentation of the dishes was also top-notch, with each plate looking like a work of art.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending dishes and explaining the different types of food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also lovely and it was clear that great care was taken to create a welcoming and comfortable dining experience.

Overall, I highly recommend this sushi restaurant to anyone looking for the best tasting sushi in town. You won't be disappointed!

So delicious! We’ve been driving past the restaurant for years and decided to give it a try the other day. We were not disappointed! It was really fresh and delicious. Highly recommend it will be our new go to spot!

First time here. Everything was exceptional. The food was fantastic. I really enjoyed the Cashew Ramen. We will be back.

Poor service took forever and had to personally go to her to order. Other tables get plates we got a tiny metal dish. No water while other tables were served. Don’t know if too busy or picking on us.

Need to work on your customer service. Got an order wrong thru skip the dishes. Called the restaurant to let them know, their response is “contact skip the dishes I guess” and hung up. Food was mediocre at best, not sure how they have 4.6.

Yummm! I went for the tonkotsu chashu and it did not disappoint! The broth was very light, aromatic, and full of flavour. It was busy from opening until I left. Service was super fast and friendly. I will definitely be back to try some other menu items as they have quite a large menu.

Great food, exceptional service! We came here with a group of 10; including our toddler and baby. The employees were wonderful. Jemma (not sure if that’s how you spell it) was especially great; she went out of her way the whole night to make sure our family (including our kids) were comfortable and having the best experience. We were touched; great job Miraku!

Friendly, fast & delicious. Definitely a fair price for quality food, It’s a small restaurant but sometimes the best restaurants are the smallest.

The rolls are ok, but don't try the teriyaki chicken rice bowl. It's just as bad as food court teriyaki Chicken Rice. Used too much sauce to cover the burnt chicken and flavour.the Sashimi is a bit overpriced for 8 slices.

Overpriced sushi. 18 dollars for 8 pcs of sushi that was subpar at best. The ramen was also just ok. Considering how much everything was, service and food is MUCH better at Sushi california. I really dont mind paying a lot for sushi but it better be worth the price and this place just didnt deliver.

The sauce was a bit strong for the tuna tataki - overpowering. The lunch boxes are well worth it and everything was tasty.

AMAZING! Had the Tropical roll, King Kong roll and Seared Tuna roll. All fabulous! We couldn't decide which we loved more. Nice quaint, serene restaurant with lovely service. Very fair priced.

First time here. Service was excellent the seating a bit laxed but not terrible since covid-19 hampers pretty much all business. There "King Kong Roll" was excellent and there tempura shrimp was better than most (know how there's the hard tail end that is unappealing; wasn't there!) Would recommend if your in the area!

Good korean chief and japanese food.

The only issue I had was the wasabi paste.it was toned down to just a green paste. No wasabi favor at all. I mentioned to the waitress but she didn't get back to me. Nothing.no apology or explanation.

And no good bye when I left.

Tiny restaurant. Lot of sushi options. I loved what I ordered. I just didn’t like the interruption by the lady who keep asking if I’m done so that she can pick up the plate. I didn’t understand the rush. Really good experience with the food though.

Firs time trying the food here and it was great. Everything cooked well and super tasty. Chicken teriyaki was great. At last a good spicy tuna roll that's actually spicy. Crunch roll was great and the salmon oushi sushi was amazing. Also got chicken karaage and takoyaki also great.

Highly recommend. New local spot for me.

I really enjoyed my dinner tonight. The teriyaki chicken was excellent. The prawn tempura was great. My salmon nigiri was awesome. So far the best sushi I have had since moving to langley. Try this place, its good.

Love their food. And service is always stellar.
Definitely one of my top favorites for sushi.

It was our first time here because our car is being serviced nearby. We came because of the high reviews and the restaurant didn’t disappoint. The tempura was excellent as the batter is crunchy and not too thick. The quality of sashimi was good and good portion sizes on the lunch boxes. Overall the meal was very reasonably priced and we would definitely come back again if we’re in the area. Only thing is the waitress is a bit cold/distanced but we got everything we needed
