Mission Bottle Depot

The man at the till was screaming over who was parked in the striped emergency zone. I told him I was and he screamed and swore at me continously. Yes I had 2 wheels on the stripes and explained all parking spots were full. He continued to literally SCREAM at me and I fully expected him to punch me right there. Each time I tried to explain parking was over full he just screamed more.
This is the second time he's provoked me. First time a year ago when I parked in the handicapped he creamed at me. I said I have the required handicap parking and it's hanging on my mirror. He just called me a liar and said theres nothing wrong with you. I am a heart patient I told him with a defibrillator in my chest and again told me I'm a liar and to leave.
This business is ultra filthy inside and if you watch closely you will be ripped off. I'll continue to post this review on every social media available.

This place sucks… not only do they take 3 cents off of the beer cans but they apparently close at 5 and just tried to kick me off the premises even though my girlfriend and son were already sorting bottles. Then when my girlfriend tried to ask why they were saying there closing at 5 when on here it says 5: 30 and the owner started yelling at her. We definitely will not be coming back here I will drive to Abbotsford from now on to do all my bottles

3x I have come and they have closed early. Why not just change your hours? I see several other reviews commenting the same.

Both times I have left bottles at their express drop off I have been shorted and low balled on what I estimated my count to be. Twice I have dropped off 6 bags and twice only 4 of them have been counted.

I drop off the same sized bags at the Maple Ridge location and get more per bag everytime.

They also do not pay the full 10 cents. Complete scam and rip off, not sure how they are aloud to operate with such poor standards. Avoid at all costs and take your cans to a different location.

Mid January took in six bags of bottles to the mission depot and have only been credited for 5. This is the first time I’ve had a problem with the return it express program but will be the last time I ever visit this location.
To boot, it is also the dirtiest location by far that I have ever visited!
Like they say, if I could give it 0 stars I would!

Website said they were open & closes at 5: 30pm. I load up my truck full of bottles & cans, 20 minute drive there at 4: 36pm and the place is closed, fence locked up & lights turned off. I was furious! I would give them a zero star if I could!

Dropped off a full 32gal bag of empties, with a Return It Express label firmly attached, received no refund.

Tried to go here at 3PM today and they were closed when the sign says 330PM! Thanks for wasting people's time.

If there was a possibility to give them 0 stars, I would. As I entered the edifice today, I immediately got yelled at by the worker. He used a very disrespectful and condescending tone with me and the others around me. It seemed to me as if he had low people skills. I am surprised that this location is still in business; also given that they are not accurate with their counting. I will definitely take my business to Abbotsford from now on: (

It's 4: 45pm now and I was just there 25 minutes ago and the gates are closed. The hours say open until 5pm, but they are not letting people in at 4: 20pm. Not very useful.

These guys are absolutely brutal. Not only do they provide close to a 50% refund, but they're incredibly rude and argumentative. Return-it should look into this place, it gives their whole organization a bad name.

I am equally close to Maple Ridge or Mission and I wrongfully chose to support these people. It’s 3pm and online it says they close at 5pm. Gate is locked. So I call and ask what’s up. The owner says “we’re busy” and hangs up on me. Haha! What is that!?

Wow.okay. STOP! Something is off here. They are miss calculating the recycling return purposely.

Beer can are 7 cents? It clearly stated 10 cents. Which is interesting.

Over 1 litre non alcoholic beverages are 20 Cents. Right?

I think they may have a default button to not honor the full recyclable refund deposit. Lol.

Overall, the staff was chill and nice.
Facility is clean

First off they don't give u 10 cents for beer cans, and secondly they often close the gates at 4: 30pm even though they close at 5pm.do not return beer cans here, take them to a liquor store or another depot like maple ridge that gives u the right price for them.

I was trying to use return-it express for the first time and as soon as I started a gentlemen came out and yelled at me that I had too many bags. I had 7 bags, apparently the new limit is 6. I had already printed off tags for the bags and he yelled at me to come back tomorrow with the rest. But he did me a favour and let me go this time. So obscene, this guy needs an attitude adjustment.

I used the express return it system to drop off 6 bags of cans and bottles and only recieved an online credit for 2 bags. Update: I just recieved the credit for the other 4 bags. Not sure why there was a gap, but all good.

Gone to this location many times and always had no problems. Quick service and clean location compared many other locations in the lower mainland that I've been to. Will continue return my bottles there.

Why does everyone talk about the angry, screaming, rude, insulting Chinese man named Hoon who can't speak English? How does he stay in business? Is the government subsidizing him? That should stop asap. I would rather throw away my recyclables in the garbage than go here!

I went in twice. The owner wasn’t very polite. After reviewing the receipts I do think we got short changed for the amount of things we brought in. Will be going to Abbotsford next time

After reading the previous reviews I had experienced an overall professional experience. The location was clean and spacious however they did not correctly tally my returns. I had used their express return it service and once I looked over my online details for the bags it was evident they only counted ~ 3/4th of each bag.
