Mission Bridge Picnic Area Day Use Trail

Nice place for a stroll. Can see some trains crossing the bridge while there is a nice view of the fraser river nearby

Awesome walk especially during summer, trail goes very far, could take you a few hrs to walk the entire thing.different streets to pull out to that go along the trail on Harris road parking your car at Glenmore or gladwin will put u along the trail.

Great spot to relax and watch the river flow by or go fishing. Have a picnic and light a campfire if you want to. There is a river walking trail as well as a Duke trail steps away if you feel like a little exercise.

Beautiful nice walk around along the fraser River peaceful place to have campfire or be loud and have a party good for all ages I think there's lots of space. Parking closes to early tho 9pm you make sure you get your car out of the parking lot or you'll be locked in til 6am the guard does search for drivers of car to make sure you don't get locked in which is really awesome.

Nice quiet walking path along the Fraser river. Part of the "canyon to coast" trail. Lots of folks just enjoying thier walks or watching the river go by

Lovely park. Great place to walk the dogs. Only fault I can see is poor beach access. You’re talking your life in your hands getting up and down from the nice beach. Well maybe not your life but ankles are at risk.

It's a great place for relaxation - whether playing by the river or enjoying a campfire, or biking, or simply walking.

One of the best places for a walk on a clear day. Great panoramic views of river and valley. It's a go to for me.

It is a beautiful quiet place to enjoy your family time. It has some fire pits, tables to eat and nice trail to walk.

Weeping willows all along the bank and in the park providing shade. Lots of tables and open space as well. Right on the trail

Hard to find a spot on the nice days but we waited and were able to enjoy the spot we ended up with.

Beautiful spot.can get busy. It does floods in a higher River season. Ok fishing. Have public washrooms. Nice trails

You got to check out this well kept secret. It's got a Sandy Beach, great views, tidal waters, great fishing, and a nice picnic / camping area. Don't forget to get your fishing license. And make sure you fish on the correct side of the bridge. The rules are different on each side of the bridge as one side is considered Ocean or tidal waters and the other side is considered river water.

It's a great area for picnic across from the river and bridge. There is couple of picnic tables around with portable bathroom. The trail path is along the river and very wide and stroller friendly. Lots of parking.

I love this place! Great for picnics with family and friends! There are fire pits, and great views of the river and the bridge!

The park sure has changed over the 40 years I've been visiting! The eastern trails are nice, the western one goes by the water treatment plant (stinky). The Fraser is right there, awesome.

Love, love, love this place. We go on this walk frequently and have been for years. I’ve never gone the whole distance the trail goes but I will one day and my kids love being able to come to either throw rocks have a walk and try to go further then before or challenge themselves to climb unattended into the bridge pillars. It’s always fun to go here.

Perfect trail for an easy stroll. Well kept and even trail for a jog too. Beautiful view of the river; bring a jacket for chilly days as it can get quite cool.

I like the peace and quiet and open space of the Matsqui flats so I like this wide open trail. I like the fact that you can run or walk for as long as you want, or even go off trail (the roads in the area are great for running because they're generally a grid and it's farm country). Not usually a lot of people on the trail, which is nice, but great surrounding views: in the spring there are lots of eagles and their nests. There is an outhouse at the parking lot under the Mission bridge and one halfway northeast along the trail: while you can go south or north the north is the longer trail. No water stations but the fresh water Fraser River is right there.

Very clean outhouses. Lots of parking. A good place to fish or relax. Picnic tables are in good shape.

This is such a great place to start some fantastic walks from, access the Fraser River, have a large picnic or just sit back and contemplate.

Beautiful park right on the Fraser River with picnic tables and lots of grass to lay down on. The Trans Canada trail runs right through it also, so bring your bikes!

What a gorgeous place to spend some time. Only downside is the racetrack across the river can be really loud.

Love coming here for walks along the river. Always a quiet place to think. For the first time I headed north east along the path and got some beautiful photos.

It was a nice quiet place with plenty of shaded areas to sit or a quiet trail if you feel up to it.

Quite fascinating. Good for a long bicycle ride. And nature scenic spot along the way. Can make fire.

Very serene. Good for meditation, l go there to wind down, even the jogging is inspired by the beautiful mountain landscape. The geese in the river give you a perfect scene and draw you closer to nature. I took my kids for a walk one day, and they loved it.

A beautiful location any time of year. Excellent rock skipping fun if you can find any flat rocks!

This was my first adventure here. Lots of picnic tables and a gravel trail. Looking forward to a family picnic there

Great day use area. Trails along the Fraser River beautiful views. Fishing, Bbq or Frisbee.a great place a short 10 minute drive away.

What a wonderful evening. So grateful for the campfire spots. The beach a d picnic area were so clean and well taken care of. Everyone was so nice. What a great evening.
