Mission Thrift Store Langley

Had a very weird interaction yesterday. After waiting for my wife to come into the store when the person at the door stopped her, my wife was carrying a piece of cake and so asked if she could come in, the door person literally told her “Do you think this is a restaurant? No you cannot, you are going to make everything dirty”.
So we left confused and angered, why would you treat a costumer like this? It was very sad since we go to this thrift store every other day.
This happened 15th december around 4pm.

My daughter and I love thrifting here always find some cute little treasures and super reasonably prices and the staff is friendly and super helpful

I was very taken back by the treatment I received walking in this second hand store. The person at the door was so rude and unthought in her greeting l! I can not believe that my client was ask to leave her purse at the door. Do they honestly think a woman would leave her pocketbook with cc and phone and other personal items at the door? Beware you make be treated some kind of way!
Oh they did apologize but it didn’t make it feel any better!
I need to add a few details to my previous review. My client who is a 75 year old senior woman was in the store at least 3 minutes waiting for me to join her in the store. The Mickey Mouse purse in question is not a large bag nor is it a back pack. My client was upset to tears from the way the greeter at the
door addressed us. When the apology was given my client questioned the greeter: Why didn’t you say anything to me as I stood alone. The greeter responded by saying: I was waiting for your party to join you. Hmmm. Being a woman of color it felt as if I was target of racism. Clearly the BIG BAG policy doesn’t apply to everyone. As my client and I left the store other seniors were not asked to leave there BIG BAGS at the door. Again I stand firm on what happened. It was at my clients request to go the store 40kms away to visit your store where I have taken her once before. No she will not be returning. There was a lovely piano player in the store pictured below and yes that is a BIG BACKPACK aka LARGE BAG inside the store. I am truly sorry about the entire situation.

Mission Thrift Store is my favorite thrift store. Volunteers are friendly and helpful. Lots of items that are displayed and well organized. I'm there every couple of days.

Mission thrift store is the only thrift store I shop at. The volunteers are one of the reasons I keep going back, they are always welcoming. At first I liked how the shelves were color coded but I find I bypass so much and spend less time browsing each aisle. I don't have red, orange in my home decor so I don't go down those aisles

This used to be my favorite thrift store and I go there almost every week. Prices are reasonable. Staff are friendly and great. They have great selections of books, CDs, DVDs, and entertainment items. My favorite are the kitchen items. I'm not fond of the new arrangements of items where it's all color coded or grouped by colors. For example, all glassware (clear cups, glasses, etc.) used to be in one whole aisle and you can pick and choose from there. Now, they divide them up in separate areas according to colors of like items (plates, bowls, cups, decors all bunched together). Green goes to green, blue goes to blue, etc. There used to be an aisle full of bowls, plates, and it's all in one area together. It's much better just to browse through all at once than going through the color scheme. It's starting to remind me of the other thrifts nearby which I don't like.

This is one of the most organized, stylish and clean thrift stores I've come across. The kitchenware items are all color coordinated which makes it easier to find things based on decor/themes for your kitchen. The categories are all well marked, great to find specific things. The prices are great for the items and the staff is very friendly. This will be my go-to store from now on! Thank you for making thrifting fun and easy!

This store speaks for itself their mission is to sell thrift items at a very low price. I would recommend this store to people with low budgets like me.sales staff are very accommodating

Best thrift store in Langley. Excellent book prices. Lots of variety, great furniture. Well organized. Always a very welcome environment. Hand sanitizer is available. A points card is a new feature, saving every bit you can helps.

Great prices, and lots of items that rotate frequently. Staff are helpful, too. There are usually some different items on sale each day. It's all for a good cause.

Great prices, friendly staff. I'm fairly new to thifting and love finding hidden gems. Found myself a mint condition Banana Republic peacoat for $10! Here the other day. Easily would have been priced 5x + higher at other For-profit near by thrift stores.
