Mister Transmission

My wife and i were experiencing what seemed like transmission problems with our car. Frank took the car out for a test drive, and did a diagnostic test, and quickly confirmed that the problem lie elsewhere. He never charged us for the tests he did or for his time. He even recommended an excellent mechanic to repair the problem with out car, and that turned out very well. We can't thank Frank enough for his honest, fair, and kind approach to helping us. It's not often that you find a professional person who is willing to take the time to answer questions, converse and explain things so thoroughly, and we truly appreciate it. Thank you Frank!

I kept asking Frank, "What if your part doesn't fix the problem with my car? " Frank kept replying, "No one has ever come back". So the part doesn't fix the problem with my car. Frank takes the new part out. Puts my old one back in. Wants to charge me $420 plus tax for absolutely nothing. Is that legal?

Second time at Mister Transmission. As always, fast and reliable service. My car broke-down on the highway. Got it towed to the shop and it was ready for pickup the next day.

Frank, Randy and Devon wonderful to deal with - they took me in without an appointment and gave me more information than any other place i've ever dealt with. They are compassionate and even though it was hot af and i was there for 3 hours, they were a joy to spend an afternoon with.

Contacted them by their service email off of the website on the weekend.
To my surprise I received replies and conversed with the owner whom I believe is Frank, the entire weekend. Managed to take it in first thing before business opening and to my surprise again, they had my leaky transmission fixed up within a few hours and that they were not going to charge me for their services. WOW!

Not only did they bend backwards to fit me in but were knowledgeable, fast, and went out of their way for me.

My car recently started making a new noise and I could smell burning from the engine. I brought it in to Mr transmission the next day and had to rush to work. Within a short period of time the manager Frank called me to let me know that my alternator had failed. He was able to order me the new part and installed. The pricing was fair and my car was done before I finished work. Great service and communication.

Knowledgeable and trustworthy. I went in and met Frank thinking that I had a transmission issue that'd cost me thousands and it turned out to be a steel panel under my car that wasn't bolted in properly that was causing a weird noise after another mechanic changed my transmission oil. Frank and his team found the issue and fixed it in 20 mins! The funny part is that I went to the mechanic that changed my transmission oil (Canadian Tire) to inspect the source of the noise and after 45 mins of investigation they told me I had a transmission issue and I need to see a specialist. It was a stressful 48 hours!

Very thorough and professional. I called several auto services but it was Mr. Transmission that gave us a quote and honored it without hassle or confusion. The service provided was A-1. They explained step by step, in detail, the work that was going to be done which was reassuring. Will always go back.

I went to Mr Transmission Burnaby a couple of years ago for a rebuild on my Mazda B3000 pickup. The service was great the turnaround time was good. They stood behind that work when something went wrong they fixed it. Also Mr Transmission warranties are good across the country as I found out when I was in Ontario not that I had a problem. Thanks guys keep up the good work.

Very happy with the work replacing my Honda CRV cv-shaft assemblies. Frank gave me the complete info and some options and then did the work quickly and smoothly. Two weeks later they are still good and now I think I'm set for the long run! No complaints and recommended to others.

Frank from Mister Transmission is a great help. I have had two vehicles fixed by them in the past and I was happy with both of them. They are reasonably priced and fast. I highly recommend them.

Got my brakes and a set of winter tires here. The owner is a charismatic and knowledgeable fellow. Made the whole process easy and straight forward. They gave me a free loaner car while the work was being done. My overall experience was very positive.

Had work done on 3 different vehicles by by Frank and his crew over the last 5 or 6 years and have been more than satisfied. A few years back the engine in my Mazda CX-7 blew soon after I had work done there, even though it had nothing to do with the work Frank had done he went out of his way to find me a replacement block (which I got at his cost so no gouging there), provided me with a loner car for weeks (no charge) and re-built the engine. The bill wasn't cheap but I did my homework and checked around and the charges were well in line with what others would have charged and cheaper than many. Car ran great until I traded it in a couple of years ago. Anybody who is bad mouthing this business is either an internet troll trying to get something for nothing or did not pay attention when getting quotes or when reading their warranties.

I have had alot of experience with buying vehicles that need transmission repairs. My bad luck I guess. I have taken 2 of my work vehicles to Frank at Mr. Transmission. Him and his staff are very knowledgeable and professional and I will only take my vehicles to them from now on. They have definitely proven themselves to be a reliable shop.
If you don't want to worry about poor workmanship I would use them.
