Mittz Kitchen

My mom and I went for mothers day brunch at mitz. We were very disappointed. The food took way to long, with not many people in the restaurant. I had the eggs Benny with bacon and avocado. There was one tiny peice of bacon split in half between the two. Barly any hollandaise sauce and the smashed potatoes had no seasoning what so ever. My mom had bacon and eggs with gluten free toast. The bread was as hard as a rock. She got the waitress to replace it, and it took them more then fifteen minutes to replace it. We decided to leave before she brought it over because it took to long, and we had to leave. The waitress was nice, but didn't refill our drinks once, when we got the bill and the option of tip started at 18%. Not a great option for not even mediocre service.

I recently visited Mittz Kitchen for a weekday lunch for my mother's birthday and had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the shrimp tacos, haddock burger, and Mittz burger. Each dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The variety of options on the menu catered to different tastes, and everything we ordered exceeded our expectations.

Our server, Tina, provided exceptional service. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. Her warm demeanor added to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant.

Speaking of the atmosphere, Mittz Kitchen struck the perfect balance between cozy and lively. Despite it being a quiet weekday lunch, the restaurant quickly filled up, creating a vibrant and enjoyable ambiance. It's clear that Mittz Kitchen has created a space where people can relax, savor delicious food, and enjoy each other's company.

Overall, I highly recommend Mittz Kitchen. The outstanding food, excellent service from Tina, and the inviting atmosphere make it a top-notch dining destination. Whether you're in the mood for seafood, burgers, or a variety of other tasty options, Mittz Kitchen will not disappoint. I can't wait to return and try more of their mouthwatering dishes!

We gave Mitz a second chance after and underwhelming dinner in the winter, and brunch wasn't any better. I had the Mitz breaky and it was incredibly bland. My partner had the chicken and waffles with the same review. The plates needed a bit of colour to offset the browns of our food, and the kitchen was very slow. It will take something special for us to go back

Very slow service. And small portions. Food has flavor but for the wait and amount it costs not worth it.

Mittz is always our go-to stop when we’re in town! We’ve never had a bad experience there and the food is always phenomenal. Stopped in for lunch yesterday and the Sablefish and Chefs Club were absolutely to die for. Highly recommend!

We had a perfect dinner! Our service was friendly and helpful, while laid back. Our dinner was delicious - perfectly cooked, fresh and flavorful (think tender steaks, sweet asparagus and french fries too hot to eat at first!). We were too full to have dessert. We’ll be back.

Fun, cozy and yummy dinner spot. I had the steak sandwich with peppercorn sauce and it was spicy and great. We spent hours in the booth over the evening and the staff were very accommodating.

I had the Mittz Burger, was well made and well cooked but I was trying something new and it was not my favorite, I'm not a big ketchup guy and the sauce was just not for me. The girlfriend loved her shrimp tacos.

Service was pretty bad, waited 5 to 10 minutes just for a glass of water. When asking about Togo containers, the server seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers. I also observed one of the cooks come up and order what I believe to be an alcoholic beverage because he "thinks [he] is done, as long as no one else comes in. "

The atmosphere was interesting, but there was nothing wrong with it, really, but not my astechitic, and the menus leave something to be desired.

Excellent experience, the mussels were yummy and the creamy tomato parmesan soup was delicious, the service and atmosphere were nice as well

Waited 1.5 hours for our food, the people who came in behind us got served before us. 3 of the pasta dishes were cold, the brussell sprouts were burnt and the briskets were over cooked/dry. Not worth $320 as we left still hungry.

We went for brunch on Sunday morning and right from the start the server showed an attutide that wasn't welcoming. Her short sharp answers and lack of care really showed and had us wondering if we had done something to upset her.

We waited over 50 minutes for our food, and when we asked where it was we were just told there are tables ahead of us. No apology or no advanced warning that there was a delay in the kitchen.

When our food finally arrived, it was abruptly placed on our table and the server just walked off without asking if we needed anything extra. We had to ask a different server for condiments.

The food was good and decent portion sizes. Just a shame the service didn't live up to the same standard. We won't be going back again.

Good menu options. Very good food and service on our first visit on a late Friday night. No complaints from my family. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

We were in Kamloops for a 2 night stay. It was important that we went to non chain restaurants. Mittz was our choice for our 2nd night. We needed vegetarian options (mushroom clamari), and I had steak which was delicious. I found the price was worth the eclectic ambiance, good service, and fresh food

Great food and drinks, nice atmosphere! The brisket was awesome and they make a wicked Ceasar!

Absolutely love this place. My boyfriend and I drive from Clearwater every weekend or so and this is always our first stop. The food is fantastic, highly recommend the brunch chicken and waffles!

I went to Mittz kitchen with a group for supper. The restaurant was clean and the decor is modern and inviting. The night we went it was very busy. It seemed like there was not quite enough wait staff on hand and too few people working in the kitchen to keep up. Our server was pleasant enough, but it took nearly an hour for our food to arrive.

The food was tasty and the portion sizes were generous. I would go back here again, but I might opt for a less busy time.

The food is outstanding! The Dausafmge rigatoni may be the best pasta I have ever had. The service was great and I love the atmosphere.

I’m coming here for years now, when I’m Kamloops on business or pleasure. A great place for lunch and to hang out for an hour when not in a rush. Food is great, especially some of the more non-mainstream menu items. I highly recommend the roasted Brussels sprouts and the Tuna Poke Bowl.
