Model A Inn

We stayed at this hotel, and the owner was a friendly person. Unfortunately, our stay took a turn for the worse. In the middle of the night, we had to leave because of bedbugs, and as a result, all of us ended up with itchy rashes from the bug and mosquito bites. It was definitely not a pleasant experience.

Definitely a budget hotel. No coffee machine. Stained towels. Bed you just sink into, no support. Do not recommend.

Nicely located and easy to find along the main road, ample parking and sufficient restaurants nearby. Friendly receptionist.

The sign outside advertises the place as clean and quiet. I totally agree. Even though it's right by a busy road, you don't really hear the traffic. The rooms are a little dated but good value for your money. I'd stay there again.

A dated motel, but the room was very clean and the was nice and comfortable. Location is very good and close to breakfast outlets.

The owner was very helpful. Room was spotless. There was no breakfast but Tim Hortons was across the street.

Just wanted to make an appreciation review for Josie who works at the Model A Inn. They were awesome and went above and beyond to help me find my cat when I was sure she had gotten out somehow. They helped me rip the room apart to look for her and I really appreciated it. Overall a good stay here, I would definitely recommend it.

Great hotel with large room. It was quiet and front staff very friendly. No coffee maker in room but when I asked he brought me out a tray with coffee maker, cups and all the fixings! Would definitely stay again!

Feel a little expensive 140$ (room fee+tax) one night.
No breakfast.
No coffee maker & water pot.

The owner/manager was fantastic. We were able to park our car at the Inn while we traveled and he arranged a taxi to the airport. When we returned we had car problems and the owner was amazing, he was out troubleshooting with my husband a few times, once at 1AM. He gave us a boost with his truck and put a battery charger on our car. Can't thank you enough.

I would absolutely recommend the Model A Inn to anyone. On a work trip and stayed for 9 days. Quiet, comfortable, affordable, close to all our shopping needs and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely book here on my next trip to Cranbrook.

A great place to stay short or long term! Ask for monthly rates. Clean rooms, friendly staff and competitive price. Located near the highway and all amenities. Wifi included, in room phone and kitchenettes are also available. A great little place to stay while on the mountain region.

This is the ultimate nostalgic place to stay. Old school access to your rooms. New school cleanliness and quality stay. The bed was so comfortable. Pretty great variety of channels. The shower was clean and the water was hot. Just what I needed after a long drive. Free wifi to boot. Always great it was right on the strip with Wendy’s, Popeyes and Timmy’s across the street. The PR absolutely wonderful. All for an amazing price. Thank you Model A… A+ you are a model for other motels in the area. #supportcanadiantravel #supportBC

I am giving the model A inn 5 stars! I arrived late looking for a room, and was blown away by the service I received. They were beyond accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure I was happy! Good service, clean rooms, good price! This is now my go to place when traveling through!
