I stopped in the other day I've never been to the shop before the good thing is they were more than willing to take me in as a walk in that much I appreciate I've had some pretty bad manicures before but this is the absolute worst I've ever had the gentleman that did my nails think she knows everything about everything unfortunately he took my nails down to almost nothing and then tried to put tips on to make up for his mistake which I didn't want. He did do a thin coat of powder and gel polish but his work is very sloppy and haphazard. As much as I'd like to shop and the atmosphere was wonderful the work is terrible

Hannah does my acrylic nails every time and she does an excellent job. I appreciate the time she spends to make them perfect. I get constant compliments on my nails. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

They never disappoint and I go here at least 6 times a year with both of my children.

I do not recommend this salon for a pedicure. My feet are dry and do not even look or feel like I got a pedicure. I got shellac and it looks like a child painted my nails. The polish is on my skin, despite pointing it out to the tech. It also had a print left in the shellac. My large toe nail was cut extremely short and left crooked and rough. I pointed this out to the tech and he did not fix it. Will not go back.

I came in without an appointment and was quickly serviced.the nail tech was friendly, kind, and very talented.she gave me exactly what i was looking for.i really appreciated how professional and efficient the salon was and definitely felt it was worthy of a five star review

Looks like owner did my nails.got minor cuts on two fingers with the filer.showed them picture and they painted my nails entirely different colour as it showed same as I requested on the thing they give you to choose the colour, but it was not matching.will never go back there again. I was transferred to other employee for gel polish after, poor service.not satisfied at all

Modern Nails is my go to local place, I always enjoy seeing the employees friendly faces and am very satisfied with the service I receive there.

Very rude, disrespectful, they don't care about their customers satisfaction, rushing through the process, can't do very basic nail designs, bad quality nails.

Went in yesterday to get a pedicure and a fill. When I got there John rushed through my fill and made my thumb nails uneven. John also handed me off to another Tec half way through. Then Nikky who did my pedicure didn’t scrub my feet properly leaving me with patches that are rough and some still with bits of skin hanging off. I came back the following day to get my nails fixed and Lyn filed my nail so much that it started to bleed. I have been coming here for the past year frequently. I have had numerous nails break off after a few days. After giving them numerous second chances they have finally lost another client.

Worst experience of my life the owner was bazaar not only did he yell at me he embarrassed me in front of his whole entire salon then tried to fix my nails and when I got home I had paid for chrome nails were three different colours they were blotchy all over I would never recommend this place to anyone I didn’t even go back to get them fixed

Just got my nails done for the first time by Nikky and all I can say is " I am in love with them" I came into the salon with a complex designs and she turnt it into her own masterpiece. Thank you Nikky! I will be back for sure!

I was absolutely appalled by them.you don't get what you ask for and ou get absolutely hideous nails. I had a crack in my nail and informed john that it going to break and he said no and just filled it with super glue and not even 24 hours later it is now broken like I said. They make sure not to fill or do them properly they leave huge gaps to make sure you have to come back to them in a week to waste more money on their terrible service. John even had the audacity to tell me their staff is scared of me because I inform them of their mistakes and request them to be fixed. My sister came with me to get hers done as well and she had huge gaps, they were lumpy, they were not the right shape, and the tech cut her 3 times. My sister even asked the tech to slow down and that it wasn't a rush and the tech ignored her, we informed John that the nails were not acceptable and he informed us that he can't get mad at his staff because they will leave and go somewhere else and that it's hard to find nail techs. My sister was in tears due to the awful service and finally John said she can come back and he will fix them so she went back today and they look worse then they did yesterday once again she left in tears I do not and will not ever go or reccomend anyone to visit this salon again.written by a very extremely upset and appalled customer

Just had a fill at this location -
Brought my mom in for Mother’s Day and they sat us down in opposite ends of the room. The woman who did my nails rushed through, not bothering to ask how I wanted my nails shaped.
At the end they were all filed differently and my top coat was covered in clumps and sparkles. When asking the woman to clean the clumps underneath and file them she said I was all done and walked away. So disappointing.

The staff is usually pretty friendly here, so I'm going to up my rating to 3 stars for that. However, my biggest complaint is that you pay premium prices, for subpar quality. I've had shellac manicures done here 5 times now, and every single time, it starts lifting and chipping within 2-3 days.
As for any other salon I've ever been to, my shellac always lasts a minimum of 2 weeks.
They always rush you to choose colours, get in the chair, and be done. It's clear they value quantity over quality.

Always happy with the service I receive here. Got my nails done by John today and they are perfect! Very friendly, clean atmosphere.

One of the most nicest salons in Langley. The decor is beautiful. The new pedicure chairs look awesome. John and his staff made me feel welcome and took care of me. Cheers.

Went to go get a fill.sat with John, and had one of nicest nail experiences I've had in a long time. He was so accommodating, and checked in at every step to make sure I liked them. They are the perfect length, shape and was done efficiently. I will be going back to John from now on. Thank you!

I moved out of province and was very sad to say good bye to my favourite nail salon. I had spent the last 3 years going here and it is wonderful. They take time to get to know their clients and make an honest effort to personalize their relationships with them. It was always so refreshing to walk in and have them say “Hi Alex! Usual today? ”. They have a great selection of polish and colours. Their brow tint and wax service is something I have yet to find anywhere else. People who complain about wait times either a) don’t pay attention to peak hours and b) walk in expecting to be served immediately. If they do make a mistake, as humans do, they immediately fix it with zero hesitation. I cannot speak highly enough about Modern Nails and the staff. I’ll be sure to stop in when I visit Langley again. I happily recommend this place to all of my Langley friends. Thank you for your years of service.

My go to salon! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Have been coming here for the last 6 years with my daughters and have enjoyed every visit. The salon is very clean and spacious. I love that they have a wide variety of gel colours to choose. Their deluxe pedicures are very relaxing and different from what you'll find in other salons. Sad to see such negative reviews.: (

Went here for a fill and waited 45 mins for them to start my nails. My friend sat down at a table 5 mins in and they started her and the guy then moved and finished another girl's nails for 25 mins before coming back to my friend. Then I had a lady help me. Took her 2 hours because she spent over an hour filing my nails. Then when I went to pay, they charged me for the fill and for the shellac and for the special nail color. Have never had to pay extra for shellac for my fill when it was already shellac. Will never come back here.

This place is fantastic. I use to get my nails done in Richmond. Now I go here and it's a great place. Awesome atmosphere.

The worst manicure and shellac I have ever had. My shellac nail polish started to go after 5 days. So bad and it is not cheap though
