I accidentally bumped into this place whilst looking for someone to do alterations on a pair of new jeans. Modernize does not do alterations to denim, however, they deal with high end, classic, antique fabrics. If you're looking for a company who will care for your great grandma's wedding dress Modernize is the place for you!

I bought several masks from here and asked for unique alterations to each and Mia was incredibly responsive and helpful with getting the alterations done and getting them to my house quickly! Super great service, the masks fit excellently, exactly how I want, would highly recommend.

My experience is based on alternation: very disappointed. The service was decent, to be fair, but the work is horrible. A simple hemming, I can do MUCH better myself with a sewing machine.

I was so excited to find that Modernize Tailors also makes cloth masks, and Mia absolutely exceeds my expectations. She's always prompt to respond to my inquiries. When I told her the masks she sewed for my 3 year old son were a bit too small (which has nothing to do with her work but rather due to the fact that my son is quite big), she offered to make two bigger ones for my son for free. I can't thank her enough for her professional work and how much she cares about her customers. Would definitely recommend to friends and families around!

It's unfortunate that "I was with my tailor" is a sentence that too few men are able to truthfully say.
