Momo Sushi

Really nice restaurant in the corner of Gastown. Food came out quick and generous portions for the momo boxes.

I had it delivered. Overall it was okay, but I don't think Odoro should sell it. It wasn't expensive so I ordered it just in case, but it wasn't as fresh and it was too fishy. Salmon and shrimp were delicious. The salmon has a large shari and the sashimi on top is also large. Shrimp is just the kind of shrimp sushi sold at regular Korean delivery sushi restaurants.

Box C is an amazing deal with tempura, teriyaki, salad, sunomono, sashimi, karage, miso soup, and dynamite roll! Strongly recommend visiting Momo Sushi!

Amazing food, great service, reasonable prices! Momo Sushi in Gastown is unrelated to the other restaurants with the same name. Different menu and much better quality.

Some of the best rolls I've ever had! Rolls were unique and delicious. Karage and tempura were great as appetizers.

Chirashi don is a delicious healthy meal that I often enjoy.

All sashimi are noticeably fresh. Tuna salmon sashimi is a really good deal for seven pieces.

High quality delicious meal. Fresh sushi and tempura. This place offers great deals. It's in a touristy area but the prices are set to local standards.

Everything was really tasty! The service was nothing amazing but expedient enough! Found this on a list of best sushi places in Vancouver and I wouldn't dispute it.

Excellent value, consistently good food and quality ingredients. The online ordering system is also very easy to use and prices are less expensive than using Uber Eats and Door Dash if you are able to pick up.

Sashimi is amazing! Super thick fresh slices that I've never seen before! Highly recommend sashimi for any sashimi fans. Sushi size is also amazing for its price!

Solid and reasonably priced sushi. I ordered a Dynamite combo and a Spicy combo (both cost about $9 each). As you can see both got pretty generous portion. I shared the meal with one other person and was pretty full. Their sushi is lightly seasoned, which is just the way I like it so that you're not just tasting the sauce. Definitely looking forward to my next visit. Think I might try one of their specialty roll next.

Consistently fresh and delicious. Good qualify fish and lots of Aburi/torched options available. I go once a week. Friendly staff, great prices and nice atmosphere. All my Japanese friends were impressed.

I don't think it can get any better than this! Box was beautifully packed with a ton of food. I enjoyed trying everything from fried food to fresh sashimi. Gangster roll is one of their higher end rolls but well worth it because it will make you full! Next time I will dine in:)

Hidden gem with delicious and fancy sushi! By far the best sushi I’ve ever had. The sushi arrived very quickly and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Came here for lunch Sunday. The box b was beyond delicious it came with miso salmon yellow fin tuna chicken yam and sweet potatoes patty.the ladies were very helpful in showing me how to mix soy sauce and Wasabi great service great place to eat

Everything was just so good! Spicy Salmon Roll, Unagi Roll, Salmon Sashimi, Chicken Teriyaki, Tuna Nigiri, Salmon Nigiri, Tamago Nigiri.

Great service especially quick to pick up phone calls. The sushi was also great. We got the Vancouver Spyder, Mega Roll and Salmon sashimi. The sashimi was amazing - great value (big slices), super fresh!

Very popular restaurant not far from Waterfront Station. Lunch boxes are a steal and offer a great variety of food. Special rolls are worth trying and very rich in flavour. Great fast service. Will come back for sure.

After we eat expensive sushi at Miku sushi we come here for flavour, deep fried and cheap sushi! My fave ️ California girl roll is good!

My personal fav for sushi in Vancouver. Their platters are extremely delicious and well priced. The sushi and fish is always beyond fresh and they definitely don't cheap out on giving you extra if you ask!

Momo sushi is such a surprise! I got the bento box A and could barely finish it with how much food they provide! The bento had excellent variety, probably the best and most unique selection of flavours I’ve seen in a sushi restaurant so far. The prices are unbeatable and they do not skip quality because of it. The server we had yesterday was also amazing and made us feel so welcome. Definitely give Momo a visit if you’re in Vancouver!

This is not the best sushi.

Not even close.

It's relatively cheap and fast.

I get rainbow rolls and chirashi dons and unagi dons. That's all. Those three items pass the bar of what I can really enjoy.

The roll is super mayonnaise-y and the bowls have a lot of meat. I take the bowls home and jazz them up with extras.

You can explore the menu but it's not gonna wow you.

I like it for its convenience.

Don't bring a first date here.
Don't bring your friend who is really into sushi.
Don't take this place too seriously.

There isn't a lot of options for sushi on water Street so if you really need sushi when you're down there, order something basic and move on to desert somewhere else.

Still. I love it for what it is. Cheap sushi that I consider fast food. For a few extra bucks it's beats street pizza or a mediocre burger.

Food was great! Servers were really nice. I think they have improved service since alot of reviews said they were rude. I did not have that experience. It is small so expect a line up. Definitely order the Mega Roll. Its hard to have in one bite, but I ate the top crab portion seperately from the roll base, still delicious.

Finally got to try Momo. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. The food is unreal, I can't believe I didn't come here sooner. Will go back very soon! 10/10 would recommend.

The food was great at a reasonable price.
The service was good and friendly, I wasn't sure what it meant to try the Korean style sushi and they gave me some spicy sauce on the side which made it interesting to eat.

I would recommend this place for anyone who enjoys sushi.

Food very good, service very good. Prices are very reasonable for the portion served. A bit cramped sitting arrangement but clean place.

Really great nigiri: saba, sake, toro, tobiko, and salmon belly. Fast friendly service, nice vibe. Handmade Christmas decorations. Small gem of a place.

We selected this restaurant based on existing positive reviews and price and we were not disappointed. The service was fast! We had our nigiri within 7 minutes from ordering. The portions were generous (even the raw fish). I was impressed by the variety of rolls and the presentation. It was "cozy", but not loud restaurant like you might expect is a small space. Sushi is one of my favorite restaurant choices since it's a challenge to make it yourself at home. We'll definitely be coming back!

Excellent quality and the service was fast! The layout of the building is unique in that it is sort of terraced downward making for a more intimate dining experience.

I guess the 4 stars are earned through their services, but definitely not the food. Their portions are small for the price, and they charge you 0.50 if you ask for some hot sauce.they also give you the smallest tempura sauce portion I’ve ever seen. Four pieces and the sauce is about a two spoons worth. Also do NOT try their chicken karage. It’s very dry and blend, as well as greasy. The guy who sat next to me complained to the server and said that it’s like dog food and that he wouldn’t even give the karages to his dog. Yes.mean comment but they really are very dry. Over all, I’ve given it quite a few chances because of its convenient location, but I’ve been getting more and more disappointed with the food that they’re serving, maybe they’ve changed the owner, so the quality has been declining? Not sure, but I’ve decided to black-list this restaurant.

It was a great experience for me to have sushi there. I have already been there so many times so I recommend everyone to go there if you want to have fine sushi with inexpensive price.
In the MOMO sushi restaurant every stuff was friendly and serving with smile. But if I say something about bad service, a stuff who served me was not really passionate about service. I felt the negative reaction thorough taking order because when I asked for her recommendation, she reacted like whatever you want. Despite of the fact that there is a negative aspect, I liked the atmosphere in the restaurant with cozy lightning and nice seats. BC roll I had was a good and perfect combination with miso soup.

Horrible service! Went to this place for lunch, during my work hours. My lunch time is limited to about 1 hour. I went with a co-worker and after 5-10 minutes of being seated, my co-worker got his lunch. Another 10-15 minutes went by and still got nothing but people that came well after me were getting their food. I ordered 3 sushi rolls and did not think my order was too complex (spicy salmon, spicy tuna, and california rolls). Well my co-worker finished his lunch and the waitress finally came to let me know my lunch was coming. I just told them to keep it and never expect me to ever come back! It is so hard to believe they can't even handle simple orders!

Genuinely impressed by how good and inexpensive this place is. Similar level restaurants in NYC and California easily charge 2 to 3x more for smaller portions so Momo Sushi is a fantastic deal. We weren't sure what to order at first but when in doubt follow what others do! Everyone else was having Lunch Boxes and Yummy Yummy Roll so we ordered those too and they were so good and the presentation was perfect! Note that the lunch boxes overflow with food but they're only available until 3pm. We also shared 10 pieces of salmon and tuna nigiri and they were very fresh and good as well although we could've used a bit more wasabi. There's clearly a reason why numerous hotels and travel blogs strongly recommend here. It's a must try restaurant in Vancouver!

Sushi and sashimi were extremely fresh with generous servings. I instantly noticed that the price was a great bargain and the service was courteous and fast. My wife and I shared the Mega Roll, Gastown Roll, Spicy Salmon+Tuna Roll, and Assorted Sashimi and they were all unbelievably good! So rich in flavour and delicious. The interior and ambiance of this restaurant is very unique and welcoming unlike many pretentious Japanese restaurants so it's a fantastic place to visit for a casual meal. I would strongly recommend to anyone craving sushi.

Absolutely delicious sushi, but had a bad experience with allergies.

I was told the waitress didn't understand the difference between a preference and an allergy, even though we specified so much. We found chunks of said allergy in our food halfway through our meal and my partner was sick for the rest of the evening, 3 hours away from home. I'm not happy with how it was handled either.

Otherwise: delicious sushi, not a fan of their udons, big flavourful salads, fun aesthetic with the stairs. Cramped and vertical restaurant so I wouldn't recommend it to people with physical disabilities.

Overall still a great restaurant, would go back, but.that was a scary experience and I'll be wary of them just "picking out the ingredients the guest doesn't want".

Be sure to arrive before the lunch rush, or to place your order online for pick up as they get very busy during peak hours. Good ratio of affordability to quality.

Superb sushi, Teriyaki, noodles etc. Problem is, people know it's good so it's very easy busy especially around lunch time. Worth the wait though!
