Good place to stay. Clean rooms. There's no microwave or kettle in the rooms.

We booked for 3 nights but ended up needing to leave the morning after the first night due to a family emergency. My husband tried to explain but was told, "I wouldn't have booked you if I knew you were only going to stay 1 night. It's a 2 night minimum. ". Like, who the heck knows when they will be running into a family emergency? Obviously, we had no choice but to leave and take the $200 hit for the extra night that we weren't even able to stay and enjoy. The place looks nice and cozy from the outside but definitely needs major updating on the inside. Beds were super uncomfortable as well. Would likely not stay here again.

It's a budget hotel and should be judged as such - good price, rooms clean, everything works and the owners were very friendly. Will be back.

I would not recommend staying here. There are plenty of wonderful hotels in Revelstoke with decent customer service. This is not one of them. After a mixup resulted in me booking into another hotel, I tried to explain why I had not shown up for my reservation. It felt like I was talking to a robot. Even after the owner admitted the hotel was not fully booked the night I had reserved (and they did not turn anyone away by holding a room for me), he refused to reimburse me any money. They obviously do not care about their guests and their hard earned money. In my experience when the owners are rotten, the business is rotten. I’m happy in the end to have dodged the bullet of staying in a rotten hotel and hope that this review will save you from a terrible experience. Thank goodness for Consumer Protection.

Myself and three of my friends (all in our twenties) decided to book a room here for a cheap stay in Revelstoke for the week. At first we had no problems. The rooms smelled like cigarettes, but we aren't picky and paid very little so didn't mind. They were very clear on no cooking or smoking inside. None of us smoke and obviously weren't going to cook inside. I however, did have a camping stove and a small cannister of isobutane fuel for it (the type that they sell in canadian tire and mec.totally safe to store indoors) that I kept inside. When they cleaned the rooms mid week, it was fine, no problems. What I didn't realize until we checked out is that they confiscated my stove and fuel on the day that they cleaned it without notifying anybody. I tend to lose track of my things, so I didn't even notice until I was told that my stove was left outside the door when we checked out. These were taken from my room without any discussion or warning. Had they had forgotten about it, I would have driven very far home without realizing until who knows when. If you stay here fine, its a good price. However, keep a list of all of your things in case they steal it.
