Monashee Motel

First time at Monashee Victor is an amazing host, we talked like we had been friends for 20 years, very welcoming. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, did not want to get out of bed. This is where I am going to stop for my overnights when I travel to Victoria from now on.

Outstanding welcome, fast easy check in & oooh the posturepedic beds! Safe, warm, clean & quiet. Excellent tax-in pricing so heck yeah we’ll stop here every chance we get!

Landed there middle of night on owners birthday. Was invited in to Schwarma and Drinks, laughed and visited to late hours. Lovely people. Cannot wait to see them again

Owners are very nice and it was a quick check-in. Room was very nice. Bed and pillows were great. I would recommend this motel.

Our stay was great. Quiet, so much room to let your dog run off energy, and some basketball for the kids. Love that they are pet friendly. The new owners are amazing. So friendly and so kind. We will be sure to stay here the next time we come through. I would recommend them for sure!

We have been wanting to visit Sicamous for quite sometime now, and during a busy long weekend, we were able to find Monashee Motel. I spoke to Rana and she was very easy to talk to over the phone and made it easy to reserve. When we got to the motel, from pictures, you know it has been there for awhile, but we found out it is under new management. You can tell they have been working hard to update the rooms and their wifi is fast and with 4 kids, that is a much needed thing LOL! We were greeting by Vik at the front desk who was very welcoming. The owner, Dinesh was so hospitable and ensured that our stay was comfortable. We also met Roni and Mike who was so helpful with our needs at the motel, from needing to use the bbq to needing more towels for our kids. The new management is ran by a family that you can tell is giving the same love to the motel and their guests. Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay and this will definitely be a place to stay when we come to Sicamous again!

You can tell the new owners are trying to update the service and the rooms. It is the best location in Sicamous if you have an animal. The large open space out front gives ample room to burn off energy. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

We had a reservation for this motel, but due to a major accident, the entire highway shut down. I was panicking about trying to find somewhere else for my family to stay, while also trying to contact Monashee to let them know what was going on.
When I finally had reception, I managed to explain the situation to the owner. This is what he said:
"We value you as a guest and more importantly as a fellow human being. Expedia will try to charge you because you're within the 24 hour cancelation window, but I will reimburse you out of my own pocket if I have to. Please find somewhere safe for your family to stay tonight. "
I'm not kidding when I say I started crying. I did not get his name, but this man is truly an angel. Next time I'm passing through Sicamous, I will absolutely be staying in this motel. And I've already recommended it to multiple family members & friends.

The Monashee was a great place to stay. They have a new owner who has completed upgrades and ensures customers are satisfied. When my boyfriend and I checked in the owner was there to greet us. He even asked what further upgrades he could do to the hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean. I had a staff member offer to carry my bag up the stairs for me. We brought our dog and there were no problems getting a pet friendly room. We are very satisfied with our stay and the upgrades the new owner has completed. We will be back:)

The Monashee and staff are exactly what a motel should be! Called close to midnight looking for a room, the Owner - yes, owner, answered. He gracious and cheerful. When we pulled into the parking lot, he was there to greet us. His son, the motel manager, was at the front office preparing our registration. In minutes, we were our clean, nicely appointed room. Most important of all, we had had a great night's sleep. Excellent mattresses, fresh air as you can open a patio door, and secluded from hwy noise. I will definitely return, and I highly recommend this charming country motel!

We needed some where to stay on a busy august long weekend due to some misunderstanding with booking at another motel, they took my wife three kids and my dog in short notice, friendly people, motel is under new owner ship and they sure are getting things sorted out here, I have stayed in the past and it wasn’t great ……… great job to the new owners and wish you all the best in your endeavour!

I just arrived here 20 min ago, but I can already say that this Motel is being run by people who care for the property, and their customers. The building must be over 60 years old, but enough minor updates, nice towels, quality toilet paper, beautiful dove soap bar, excellent wi fi and of course cleanliness make it a nice place to rest your head.

Very clean rms comfortable beds.the owners are really nice and very helpful if you need anything.we will return to stay there

I really appreciate the work and the attention to detail the new owners are putting into this motel. They have taken the time to truly listen to their customers and focus on what's important to them. It is clear cleanliness and family-friendly is top of mind.

This place is amazing. Vic and dinesh are the best good customer service. Rooms were spotless. Also I forgot valuable at there property and they return to us they are honest.im soo thankful to them. Keep it up the good work. I will definitely come back to them I highly recommend

Best service in a long time at a small motel! Vic made us feel very welcome. He even let me park my car in a special spot so the doors wouldn’t get dinged! Room was clean, cozy, and quiet.
