Monck Provincial Park

Great, well maintained campsite near a lake. Only negative was that an algae bloom did not allow for swimming. This park looks like a new addition, with a gate house, and is away from traffic.

Nicely manicured grounds, flush toilets, showers available ($), wood and ice for sale. Very family oriented and everyone is in bed by like 10. Strict noise policy to the point of having a 24 hour phone number you can call with complaints. Not a lot of privacy at the sites and they are close together. Beautiful view of the lake. Didn't see a single marmot though

Campground is ok, typical for BC parks. Ranger very friendly. Very hilly, some nice sites along water but no shade. No showers. Beach was closed because of blue green algae which made it very hard being so hot out. Far from anywhere else to swim for the day.

Flush toilets. I’ll start with that. It’s actually a great spot ti camp. The lake is not as swimmable as i hoped but still great, specially for kayaking paddle boarding etc.will come back

Clean and family friendly camp ground with excellent views. Only downside is not having shower in the campground.

Although the surrounding area is nice, the park is quiet, campers friendly, and the lack of mosquitos make this place great, the lack of any showers and the toxic blue / green algae bloom took stars off the review. The water in the lake is just disgusting, with a shimmering dangerous algae bloom on the lake. The water itself looks like it has treated sewage in it. I don't know how people swim in it, but as a warning to others, don't let your dogs in the water!

Beautiful location, but very windy sometimes. I suggest to check wind speed before heading here. For tent camping please book sites in the bigger loop, inner side to avoid strong winds. Nice sandy beach

It’s such a beautiful place for summer, the lake and its landscape around will leave you with wow. Picnic tables are in good numbers, it has play area for kids, the campgrounds are plenty enough - found many people with camps that could be famous and the road to it from Merritt will not disappoint you. Enjoy!

We camped here for 2 days, the sites are very clean and there are flush toilets. This is a very well maintained park

5 stars for the extremely friendly park rangers and I think Norman was his name, who gave us a jump start when our car battery drained by accident, thank you for being so kind and helpful! We really appreciate it!

Note that the beach in the day use area is not dog friendly and dogs must be on a leash at all times in the campsites! There is a LOT of wildlife in the park and campsites so this rule absolutely makes sense. There is a small dog beach to the side which is perfect to let your pup swim in the lake

Very sirine place, perfect spots with water view. Cold water though.but still amazing place for families.

Small park in the middle of nowhere. Small playground, access to Nikola lake. Park attendants were nice

Beautiful, well cared for park, with awesome staff, and a large Beach/Day use area. Sites are clean with flush toilets and sinks. Drive there was stunning with a hill overlook of the lake.

Like a mini Okanagan like. Be aware that the is a lot of motor boat, doing wake and sound around the lake. But otherwise l, nice lake for kayaking, paddling with a small beach to enjoy the lake. Very friendly and family oriented park.

Really enjoyable day visit. Just went down to the beach for the day and got to hang out with all the marmots and sit by the water. This also looks like a wonderful place to camp. Also not to mention the beautiful drive up.
