Mongo Bongo Mongolian Grill

The food is exactly what you would expect. Awesome! And you create your own dish and they cook it. How cool is this, you choose all of the ingredients and the sauces and everything else and they do the cooking!

Absolutely awesome! Always a pleasure to go there! Great food cause you pick out exactly what you want desisgned for you own taste buds by your very own hands (well you use tongs but you know what i mean lol) very welcoming staff and inviting atmosphere! Dont be shy come on down and grab a bowl or two which also comes with some rice and daily soup that made from scratch and hand made personally everyday by the Wonderful and very Friendly owner himself Pete! Make sure you tell him Berger sent you! When you see him! Bon Appetite Folks! Dont forget to tell your friends all about the place to! It is also a licensed establishment and a couple of TVs so if you want an Ice Coldy with your meal to wash it down with make sure you bring two valid pieces of ID! So what do you thi k? Food variety is not too great. Number of sauce to choose from is OK, but there is no combination suggestion for the newbie. And I found they dilute the sauce a little bit, for example I found the Oster sauce is diluted and not as tasty as normal. Price is a bit pricy. The cook is not very skillful. Basically the cook only heat up the food and make sure everything are well-done, then sweep the food directly to the dish. Skillful cook just sweep once and all food goes to the dish, the cook there took 3-4 sweeps. And some noodles in my dish were not soft enough, that's mean not cook well enough.

Great food and great price. Lots of choices of ingredients. I always go there to have a good meal that will make me full and happy. Friendly staff.

Friendly, food is yummy. I especially enjoyed the bit of soup. A favorite memory of visiting Vancouver.

$28 for all you can eat. Fantastic value. Protein options include: beef, pork, chicken and tofu. Veggies: cabbage, bean sprouts, carrot, kale, spinach, broccoli, red cabbage, celery, zucchini, onions, green onions, corn, red peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes. Also assortment of noodles. Included soup today was a spicy Tom yum. Good umami flavours with a nice kick. Perfect keto option.

All ingredients were fairly fresh. Meats frozen. Sauces could be improved. They were all a bit on the salty side. That did give the chef room to dilute with water. Mongo bam was my favorite. Teriyaki and Thai coconut were a bit low on the flavour scale.

Service was great. Chef did awesome work. They have a system where you put your name and table on the bowl with a sticky. Worked pretty well but it fell off of one of my bowls. They bring the plate to your table once cooked. Table service was great. Owner/server was really nice and attentive without being overly roaming!

I haven't been here in years and was finally able to go, it did not disappoint! The gentlemen were very nice, great service, Thankyou!

This place was okay actually great if you want a lot to eat but not a lot of quality and it was cooked quite badly but you know can't expect much from them all you can eat other than that it was okay.

I went here with my girlfriend last night and it was delicious! She has a gluten allergy so not only did he take the time to wash the grille entirely, but he used separate utensils as well. He cooked up her food and found a small piece of noodle in it. He re-started all over again as he knew how it could make my girl sick. VERY impressed with the thought and care for her meal. Side note.try the Mongo BAM sauce! It's really delicious!

I love this place for the value, service and fresh ingredients. The only suggestion I would make is to add chilli oil or other hot sauces to your selection as well as peanuts and sesame seeds.

You get a lot of food for a great price. The quality of ingredients could be improved but still worth it for what you pay.

Always delicious. Friendly staff, tasty soups (the soup rotation changes regularly, but my favourite is the chicken corn) and a great selection of fresh veggies and meats you can pick and choose from.
I recommend going to eat in here. Nothing tastes better than it fresh off the hot plate - especially when you are putting it together the way you personally like it.

Loved the noodles I built with their toppings and schezwan sauce!

They also implemented great rules for this pandemic to wear gloves when we select our toppings.

Price was great too for the quality. If you're in New Westminster or anywhere in lower mainland Vancouver, I highly recommend you trying it out.

The way they cook the good makes the food soggy. The soup they serve tastes like from the cans. I highly don't suggest going there for easy lunch or dinner.

Great concept for a change for having dinner out. I really wished we had one of these on Vancouver Island where we live. It makes for a change of pace of what we normally have to choose from. Reasonably priced and good service.
