Montessori Mes Petits Academy

Highly recommend this preschool/daycare, my son attended from 2.5-5 years old and was excited to go each day. Most of the teachers there have been there the whole time he was and that says a lot for what a great place it is. He has just started kindergarten and is well prepared thanks to Mes Petits.

I feel this is my duty to share our terrible experience with this daycare. If you are looking for a daycare that you can trust, don't even think about Mes Petits Academy.

Staff restrained my son and caused him a serious trauma but informed us about it a week later. During that week my son stuttering became much worse and we did not have any clue about the underlying cause.

Montessori Mes Petits Academy, couldn't provide a safe and welcoming environment for my son and caused us lots of problems. My son doesn't like to go to daycare anymore and we have a difficult time dealing with all these things.

Our son attended Mes Petits for a year and loved it. The teachers were extremely kind and caring, the location next to the park is great and they frequently go out to explore the neighbourhood. His reading and writing skills grew considerably as did his confidence.

Over the last two years I have had both my sons attend Montessori Mes Petits. We have been thoroughly impressed with the care and the genuine affection the teachers have had for our children during this time. There is an excellent balance at Mes Petits between free/outside play and preschool academic activities. The enclosed park behind the school is clean, safe, and a step above the outside play areas I saw at many other daycares. My sons (esp my younger one who attended for two years) have gained so much from their time here- from introductory French, to music classes, to learning about geography, letters, writing, cultural celebrations, etc. We are very thankful to Ms Ana, Ms Natalia and all the other teachers who have cared for our sons in the last two years and highly recommend this daycare

After a bad experience with a family daycare in downtown, I found Mes Petits by one of my friend's recommendation. I can just say that they were good enough to worth it drive all the way from downtown everyday to take my son and pick up him.
All the teachers are brilliant and patient, specially Miss Safa. Miss Ana also is so caring and welcoming. You can be confident that your child is in good hands. The school interior is organized, clean and colourful. Also there is a great park right beside the school which children enjoy their daily outdoor time there.

Mes Petits is truly a wonderful place. Our children learned so much during their time there and grew socially, emotionally, and academically under the staff's care and curriculum. Highly recommend!

One of the best decision we have made is to send our son to Montessori Mes petits, worth the drive from downtown to the north shore back and fourth everyday!
Very well kept space, clean and safe, teachers are all knowledgeable and reliable.
Great management. Amazing 2 years my son had spent at this pre-school, it prepared him very well for kindergarten. Even after moving to a different province, my son still asks about all his teachers. He was very well surrounded, loved and educated.

My son went to Montessori Mes Petits for 2 years. He started going there when he was 3 years old.
He loved his school, every morning he was happy going there to play with his friends and learn new things. As a mom that was a big relief for me seeing my kid going to preschool happy every day.
School has a great location and the classrooms are big and bright.
There is a gated park in front of the school that the kids love playing there everyday.
School arranges many different field trips during the year which are really good and entertaining for kids.
Teachers are nice and my boy learned a lot while he was going there.

Our daughter was at Montessori Mes Petits Academy for two years; it was her first experience in a care program and we have been so happy with the entire experience. We did an extensive amount of research on full-day care and education programs in North Vancouver; after attending an open house and learning more about the program, the school, and the teachers, we decided to send our child to this school. Overall, a terrific school: a Montessori-based structured care and education program (with French language learning included) in a full-day program that provided excellent preparation for Kindergarten. Lots of time in the daily schedule for learning, balanced nicely by activities and time outside for play (as well as other special days out). The teachers were firm, not tolerating poor behavior, but also very kind and caring. Our daughter was happy going this school, enjoyed learning, made great friends, and adored and respected her teachers.

An experience that transformed my twins into young gentlemen. I found a haven for my boys that allowed them to create, learn, play and enjoy the outdoors each day.

Ana and her teaching team cherished my children like I do. They created a safe haven that the boys made friends, learned how to problem solve, and be independent. I loved that they had uniforms as it created a unification with the kids.

Mes Petits also had fun field trips for the kids and special events that were highlights through the year. (Nutcracker, movie, Santa etc)

The fact that the school backs onto St. Andrews park makes it just perfection. I was so happy and sad as my boys graduated to kindergarten. The boys were able to leave with an introduction to French for their entrance of French immersion program.

My daughter was in their care for just over 2 years. The teachers and staff provided a safe, nurturing, and caring environment for my daughter. By the time she left she was an independent, confident and self aware young lady. Many thanks to them for taking such good care of her!

My daughter attended Montessori Mes Petits Academy for almost 2 years. She started at 2.5 years old and loved it. She liked wearing the uniform every day and it was easy for us in the mornings knowing what she would wear. They teach French every day and have a curriculum, which prepares children to move into kindergarten. The teachers are well educated and genuinely care for the children.

The teachers at Mes Petits are wonderful. Our kiddo had a great time there and we highly recommend!

My son attended Mes Petits for 9 months before going to kindergarten and enjoyed his time there. I was especially very happy with Ms Azar and Ms. Emilia. Ms. Emilia helped my son educationally to be prepared for kindergarten, and Ms. Azar was very attentive, calm, and caring. I also like the fact that there is a park next to the daycare so children get to play and discover outdoor world every day. Ms. Ana arranged for Kids to be taken to different shows and events throughout the year which was very fun and exciting. I would recommend this daycare to any parent who's looking for a place for their children.

My daughter was excited to go to school each morning to see her friends and teachers. She felt safe and loved, and I never worried about her wellbeing in their care. The teachers made sure to take the children outside everyday for plenty of fresh air and free play, which was really great. I look forward to having my son attend once he's old enough. Mes Petits worked perfectly for us.

I cannot emphasize strongly enough how highly we recommend Mes Petits. The teachers are strict, but loving. The kids play a lot but also spend a lot of time on reading and writing. The business is very organized, but also very reasonable, honest and fair. The owner is excellent and it is obvious that she has a lot of respect for her staff, the parents and the kids. The kids do a lot of field trips (to plays, amusement parks, etc) and the owner organizes extra events on occasion (Christmas concerts, pumpkin carvings in the evening, class photos, etc). We are amazed at how much our child has learned- it was obviously an environment where learning and curiosity were encouraged. We are sad to leave Mes Petits but are excited to see our child go to Kindergarten carrying everything she learned in daycare. Everyone who works there is very dedicated to their work and very focused on educating and caring for the kids. Finally, I must add that the prices are very good, and the owner is very organized when it comes to applying for the provincial rebate and passing the savings onto the parents in a timely and transparent manner, which is highly appreciated. My two boys attended the Mes Petits and they truly enjoyed their time there. They had tons of play time as well as education. They would come home and start singing in French and telling me this word means this in French. The daycare provides healthy snack. Very convenient if you don't put snack for your child. At times I forgot their lunch bags and the staff helped out with their lunch. Convenient location and park is right by. The owner plans trips and musical plays which is a nice change for children. Kind and caring staff. Overall happy with the daycare.

They are so caring and knowledgeable. They know how to make the environment friendly and home like that the children can feel comfortable at the same time they educate them very well. Every day crafts and art. Expert staff and clean environment

I have time to write this review because my daughter doesn’t want to leave! She runs to school in the morning and often wants to stay later.

I have an a teacher with Montessori training and I am impressed with the classroom structure and curriculua. The teachers are so caring and attuned to the kids.

I highly recommend this learning environment.
