To be frank, this is the first ever review I've ever written but for good reason. The service I've received from this Moores, specifically from Sinisha has been second to none. The care, attention and his willingness to above and beyond showed and I truly appreciate his service and helping me pick out my suit. Although I came in needing my suit for literally the very next day, he helped me find the perfect suit and even taught me all about suits and their materials. I highly recommend visiting this store if you're ever in need of a suit - in fact, I'm actually going there again today to buy a new suit:) Thank you Moores and Sinisha!

Morres Coquitlam handled the suits for my brothers and I for my father's funeral,
and I just want to say these people were simply amazing and did anything and everything to accommodate us in the short time frame we gave them.
Big shout out to the store manager, James and Lexi who did everything in their power to accommodate us in our difficult time.
They were not only professional but sensitive to our situation.
Would highly recommend and have used in the past and plan to use again in the future.

I called this Moores today and was told it would be $240-270 for a suit rental for only one day for a wedding. I called them yesterday and was told it would be that price for three days. I called the Moores in Langley and was told for a week for that price. I called the Moores in Burnaby and was told it would be for three weeks for that price. Clearly this Moores does not know what they are doing.

Went the wanting to buy a Calvin Klein suit I saw on their website. No one seemed to eager to help me out and when someone finally did the said they don't have what I was looking for and proceeded to start showing me something completely different that I didn't want. I walked out. Poor service.

The worst experience ever, I shopped there on a few occasions before, and usually I got a good customer service, but today it was a disaster. Tony (man with grey hair) was absolutely rude to me. Spent $170 for a shirt and belt. My son did not even try the shrit on, I hope it fits. I will never go to this location again!

Went to these guys today because I needed new dress clothes for my brother's wedding and these guys used to be good back in the day, (back in the day meaning ten years ago) when I last bought something from them. I dont know what happened to them but none of their sales reps even came over to help us and didn't even greet us politely. There selection was awful, overpriced and very low quality. I was genuinely shocked because it wasn't how I remember it. I'm giving them two stars because I want to hold out some hope that maybe they where just having a bad day and selection is because of the economy right now but seriously a ghetto experience.

I wouldn’t use them if you’re needing rentals for a wedding. Was told suits come in a week before. Came in 3 days, one came in 2 days before. All the groomsmen were given the wrong ties. They said that they rushed shipped the right ties but didn’t actually do it when they said they did. The ties came in the day before the wedding but only 5 out of 6 came in and one was even already broken. So the best man had to buy and wear a different shade. They also say you can return the clothes however you’d like just as long as everything is in the bag. But then charge one of the guys a “cleaning fee” and hide the charge under another grooms suit so we wouldn’t notice, then proceeded to ignore it when we called it out.

Going forward I would never use them again for any weddings or events. Too unorganized and not trust worthy

Staff was very rude and it unhelpful. It took them 15 minutes to even approach us. They would not let us speak when they finally started to get someone to help us, along with only saying the most expensive versions of each item, while there website showed options for hundreds of dollars cheaper.

Giving one star because zero isn’t an option. James, the store Manager, seems like a wonderful person however the way our whole experience was managed and the overall outcome was embarrassing for Moores.

We chose Moores to purchase (not rent) a groom’s suit and 5 groomsmen matching pant and dress shirt sets. Moores sets up a ‘wedding file’ for you so that each person making their purchase can come in at different times and if needed, a different location. We were told / sold that the Moores employee helping the person who comes in can easily bring up the file and see what exact pant and shirt needs to be purchased (so everyone matches in the wedding party). This is where things went sideways. The shirt the associate sold / proactively recommended us and that was put on file was actually discontinued and no longer available. We found this out because one groomsmen called us asking what he should now buy. When each groomsmen came in - everyone had a different experience and was told a different story. Some guys were given one of those last discontinued shirts and some a completely different brand / shirt. One groomsmen was given the wrong pants (different colour). We would have never known this (and he could have showed up to the wedding with different pants?) - we only caught on because the two groomsmen that were given different pants are brothers and we caught it in time! Secondly, I had to proactively follow up multiple times to ensure that the groomsmen actually got shirts. James was nice and offered to help when I had called but to my surprise offered us another wedding party’s shirt… hoping that the person it was actually for didn’t come in to pick it up and we could have it (this was the week before the wedding). What if they did come pick it up? What would we have done? He didn’t have an answer.

All in all… one guy doesn’t have a shirt that matches. In the grand scheme of things, whatever! Life is short. We are grateful to be able to afford to buy clothing for our wedding, but this whole experience was a total fail and almost all things we were promised were not delivered on - and I had to follow up and make sure things were made right.

You get what you pay for going to Moores! Or do you even? What a waste of my time and energy.

Terrible service at the Coquitlam location.
Guy was more interested in his personal calls and smoking outside than to help me. In addition to being very pricey for what you get. I will not be back and will not recommend to anyone.

Went here about 7 years ago with a couple friends. One was buying a suit and I was going to browse coats and buy one if I saw something I liked.

There were 4 people working there who IMMEDIATELY followed us around, glaring at us, and constantly asking us what we wanted and what we were looking for, etc. They were all behind the counter when we walked in, and then 3 of them started following us / keeping a close eye on us while pretending to look busy, while the one at the counter provided overwatch.

They were convinced we were shop lifters from the second they saw us, even though someone we were with was purchasing something. 1 associate was helping him with his suit and the other 3 chased me out of the store. I was in there for probably a total of 2 minutes.

Hopefully by now they have been better trained to be less obvious about tracking suspected shoplifters and maybe are even a little less judgemental as well, but I have never been back to any Moores and never will.

I wasnt there for a big purchase and I was really impressed that Fariba took the time to help me make a decision I thought would be easy but turned out to be more daunting than I anticipated. She had great advice and made me feel important. I probably spent more than 30 mins deciding and pairing colours. She never rushed me and i appreciated her kindness and professionalism. I recommend her and am very happy the store had such a great selection!

If zero stars was an option I would be rating this location zero. I have shopped at Moores on multiple occasions but have never had such terrible experience as I did at the Coquitlam location. We went in to browse to see of there were matching suit pants to go with a suit purchased a few years ago. As soon as we walked in we were "greeted" by an associate that more so stalked and pushed us around the store. We explained the situation and they brought us to the section. They had the pants and we were pushed into the fitting rooms. I went to look in the sale and clearance section to look at other pants and the shirts and the sales associate made comments and tried to get me out of the section and to one that was not on sale. As soon as the person I was with exited the fitting rooms we were bombarded with what they were going to do to the pants alteration wise. The pants started to get marked before we could even have a private conversation about if we wanted to purchase the pants. We had no clue the price of the pants. We were very uncomfortable and were pushed into buying and we're not given the option to say "no". The pants were taken to the front and we were pushed to the check out. As soon as we went to check out, the associate was rude and was annoyed that we asked the price of the pants.
Furthermore they went way to far and called the individual I was with fat and told them not to gain any weight to make the scale go the opposite way. The suit pants were over 5 years old and a growth spurt occurred. The whole experience was horrible and the comments were disgusting. The associate at this location ruined it and we will never return. If you can the Langley location has great staff!

They have some very good suits on the shelf. I would stick to those.

I was up sold some custom suits that were expensive and terrible quality.

My advice is to order off the shelf you know exactly what your buying. Don’t end up with a suit that is very poor quality that pills after a couple months.

Came in to Moores to up my professional wardrobe. I let James know the kind of things I was looking for, he took that information and gave me a ton of amazing recommendations and helpful tips. I am so happy with my purchases. He took his time and never made me feel rushed. Everyone at the Coquitlam location is extremely kind and personable.

I visited the store yesterday, as soon as I walked in Fariba welcome me and she helped me a lot. She made sure gave me the best services. I really apricate her professionality she was very patient and kindly showed me all great deals and helped me with discounts. It's been a long time since I've seen such a great sales and customer service. Thanks Fariba and Thanks Moores for choosing such a wonderful staffs!

I bought a nice suit at a good price. Sales staff seemed new but did not hesitate to ask a manager for help if they needed it. If you want your suit to fit perfectly and in a reasonable amount of time, take it to a private tailor. Reminder: This is not a boutique shopping experience. They do not have french cuff shirts or cuff links. Just great prices on suits and basic accessories.

Visited the store today with little knowledge of suits, and the sales associate was very patient and friendly with me. I told her that I was shopping around and not looking to buy anything on the spot, and she respected this and was patient with me, and explained different aspects of sizing, materials, and alterations.
I left the store to visit other suit stores, and did not find as good a deal as the one at this store. (There was a 'Buy one Get one' Deal on). I returned later in the day and purchased the suit that the sales associate put on hold for me.

Thankful for a comfortable shopping experience.

Never bought a suit before. The associates Renee and James made the process easy, made me feel comfortable and didn't make me feel dumb for some of the questions I had. I know where I'll be going for all my future suit needs.

Recently moved here from Edmonton where I was a long-time Moore's customer. Bought 4 great shirts at this Coquitlam location on sale today. This is honestly the best retail customer service you can find in Coquitlam and the prices are competitive. James was very helpful and friendly, I will be back.

We drive from Mission to go to this location, we have gotten my fiances suit, the groomsmen suits and today I got my father's suit! James was very helpful and made it super easy to find what we were looking for in our budget without any pressure thank you so much for the great service!

I will never use the Moores Coquitlam Store again; Use a different Location.
I went with a wedding party to select suits for a wedding that was a few months later.at which time i told the person that i was in the middle of a large weight loss.the sales person recommended I at least get the length of the arms and pant length hemmed as this won't change.a few weeks before the wedding i go to the Abbotsford Moores (it's close to my work) and they informed my that had i not had my jacket and pants hemmed i could have just exchanged for smaller versions of the suit. Now i have a suit that had to be tailored extensively and I'll never be able to use it again because when i lose more weight i won't be able to get it tailored any further. I appreciate the Abbotsford Moores trying to make it the best they could. But I wouldn't have been in that situation in the first place had the Coquitlam store let me know that was a possibility.

Our wedding was September 28,2019. We originally started off at the Langley location but after so many mistakes and hours of frustration we moved to the Coquitlam location. I wish we started off here in the beginning. My husband and 2 groomsman were fitted at the Langley store. All of their measurements were completely inaccurate and the order was a disaster. On top of that, when you walk in the door, as soon as they find out you are for rentals, they completely ignore you. When we walked in to the Coquitlam store and told them the issues we had at the Langley store, they were quick to help and even fixed things on our order that we didn't notice. Fariba was always calling me with updates. And I can't thank them enough for helping us on the day before our wedding with a suit problem (that originated from the Langley store). They did everything thing they could to get us a smaller jacket and shirt. Thank you for saving the day! The staff at the Coquitlam store (all of them - sorry I didn't get every ones name) were more than kind with top notch customer service skills! Thank you for going above and beyond to help us!

Guy (Tony) was rude and pushy from beginning. Acted like I was being a nuisance in trying to find a suit that both fit well and fit into my budget. Barely acknowledged me when I said I didn't find anything that worked for me, strictly because I hadn't purchased something he had recommended.

This is one of those situations where customer service is so poor I'd much rather pay more at a place that treats me fairly.

This review has to do with Tony, one of the sales staff here. The store Is very nice, good selection, would recommend it. Unfortunately, as a salesman myself, I cant stand when a salesman pounces on me, much less when they're dishonest. I was greated with a good to see you again my friend, what's your name again? First time I've ever been here. But ok, that's not that bad. Then I get asked what the suit is for. I tell him I'm looking for a few work suits, and I mentioned the trade in a suit, get one 50% off sale. He lowers his voice and says "here's what I'll do, you buy today and I'll give you 50% off. " This is a month long promotion actively being advertised by the company.

At this point I'm getting annoyed, it's been 2 minutes. I then mention clearance suits, as there's an abundance of red clearance tags visible in the suit rack. He immediately goes "no no you dont want one if those clearance suits. " While he's handing me suits, every suit he passes me comes with a "this is a good suit/ yes this one is the right suit/ that one looks good/ I've been doing this 19 years, I know suits". Not to mention he's handing me 7 and 8 hundred dollar suits and obviously trying to close me within 5 minutes. I tell him maybe I need some time, how bout you let me take a look at these. He's polite and walks away.

After a while, I find a suit that happens to be clearance and an identical cut and make as one he had me try on. I go back to him and ask what the trade in discount is if I do get a clearance one (it's an extra 30%, it's clearly in the ad). This sale has been going on for 29 days. He says, no, you get no discount on clearance. At this point I head to the front, reserved the suit and tell the man at the front I'd like to reserve it. He's polite and does so. Tony comes over and I tell him why I'm not buying the suit and that I think he needs to reconsider his approach. He tells me he had no idea about the sale for clearance.

There's nothing worse in retail than dealing with sales staff like this.

The staff at Moores are very friendly as soon as you walk in they make you welcome, when looking for shirts pants or shorts the staff will measure you to make sure you get the right size and fit of clothing. Great prices buy 1 get one free, Moores always has great deals! I always go to Moores for all my dress clothes and accessories.

I've gone to this location for most of my work clothes shopping over the past 4 years. I've primarily worked with Tony and I always appreciate his honest advice and friendly personality.
I'd recommend going ONLY during a promotion, Moore's is a bit overpriced at this base pricing but seems to have frequent promotions and even quality clearance sections.

Terrible, absolutely horrible! Never get ANYTHING altered here. There tailor/seamstress clearly has no idea what they are doing. So unprofessional, completely ruined a pair of beautiful pants. If I could give them a 0 I would. Never going back. Even after she “fixed” them they weren’t fixed on a very simple task to take a pair of pants in.

Great place to find a good fitting shirt. Staff know what they sell and measure to ensure a good fit. Usally have deals and sales like 2 for 1. Friendly staff and good selection. Good quality fabrics.
