Morley Elementary School

I recently left because i needed to move to Calgary, the experience was great tho, made lots of friends and the teachers were nice, i had great years there and i really miss it, overall the school is great would DEFENETLY recommend.

I went to this school from 1962-1967 Grade 1 until half way thru Grade 5 wish we had never moved to Vancouver and could have stayed in Burnaby. I now live close to Morley once again.

Morley’s a pretty good school but as I get older i realize how much time i’ve wasted there. I mean like silent reading and recess was fun, but you don’t really learn that much. I love this school and all but when you get into intermediate grade, good grades are less smarts and more favouritism.

I love morley Elementary I went to that school about 17 years ago i think from grade 3 to grade 7 can someone please tell me what happened to mr karens I think his last name was he was the principal there at that time my name is Jelena Antic Maricic if anyone recognizes me add me on Facebook

This school is full of favouritism. There is almost no teaching. We barely learn anything from the curriculum. If you're a kid in this area go to an other school.

Heh, Morley. How are ya doing, Used to be here back in 2010-2015 but changed and went to Kamloops. I'm in Grade 9 now, so I guess that's nice. I wonder if anyone even reads these. But nonetheless if anyone even knows I used to exist here, Hi.

This elementary school is not acedemically focused at all. I know a student who went to this school in grade four, and they were learning 1+1=2. This level of learning is unacceptable. Also, silent reading and playing outside (all activities that do not require teacher direction) take up at least half the day for students in grade 6 and 7. Also, the teaching method of the teachers is to teach to the level of the student with the least academic ability, so a majority of the students don't learn very much. If you're a parent of a Morley student and want your child to succeed, you must teach him/her yourself after school, or hire a tutor. The staff are somewhat friendly, however. They are the our thing preventing this review to be a one star review.

Went here for kindergarten to grade 4 (2004 - 2008). I have so many great memories from this school! If anyone is reading this that remembers me look me up on Facebook.
