Favourite place to walk, lots of different trails - the gnome homes are a blast to look for as a kid!

A lovely network of trails leading to and around a small lake. Well maintained and excellent signage! I'll be back soon to try another loop.

It is a wonderful place to go for a walk. They have trails of varying distances and difficulties, so it's great for everyone. There is even a wheel chair accessible trail.

A great place for a walk. There's a cute Gnome Home trail that's the perfect length for kids that has interpretive signage. We saw (and heard) a barred owl and different birds and plants.

Beautiful nature reserve and teaching forest with lots of trails and benches. Check out the two small docks on beaver pond loop to see birds and lots of different types of dragonflies in the spring and summer.

I love this easy little hike, it's still in the forest but not incredibly challenging.

Gorgeous park, lots and lots of trails. Nice little gnome house loop for the kids as well which is also wheelchair accessible.

True getaway within easy reach of city. Easy, flat hike along fire lane, with a slight interruption passing onto hydro road. Lovely view of lake at farthest point.

Beautiful place didn’t expect the amount of fun nature scenery here. The gnome trail was extra cute. Looking forward to the next adventure here!

A lovely park with a network of mostly easy walking trails. Many of BC's coastal native plants and trees can be found here.
Wildlife passes through as well. Many bird species, including small songbirds and Barred owls.
Be watchful for bears and cougars. The lake and beaver pond are frequented by ducks.
Popular for dog walkers.

One of my favorite places to go for a walk. So many trails to choose from, very scenic, extremely dog friendly and well taken care of trails.

Beautiful, unpopulated private sanctuary. Wander in the woods for an hour or a day. Connects to Westwood through walking trails.

Excellent sunny walk with doggies. Interesting new power poles and rock lanes up by power line access and off leash.

Morell Sanctuary is a wonderful walk in the woods. Operated by a Trust, the trails are well maintained, have great maps, informative signage and offer a great tour of the park. There are also kids camps, narrative tours and other, interactive events. Take the time, slow down and enjoy being a tourist right in town.

Morrell is such a beautiful spot, endless trails and tranquility for all to enjoy, we love exploring new trails and rehashing the old. There are washrooms, picnic tables, a coveted gazebo, it truly is a gem. Such an amazing job of protecting that space for all to enjoy.

Lovely nature walks (or hikes depending on which trail you take). The forest is beautiful and there are information plaques throughout to let you know about plant and animal species present. Fun, relaxing, and educational.
