I cannot say enough great things about this place. The cabin was WONDERFUL, the land around the cabin was peaceful and quiet. The cabin had all the amenities we needed for our stay, and there is never a reason to complain about a private hottub on the deck.

Deer Lodge - very much enjoyed our stay in Deer Lodge at Mount 7 in early May. The cabin was clean and well thought out. It had everything we needed. The property is quiet and private and was a great place to get away to after a hectic April. Dave and Loxley were great hosts and they are on top of everything. We will definitely return.

Stayed in the Bear Lodge at the end of Feb '23. We absolutely loved it. Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils and equipment you will need. Board games and great wifi for all your entertainment needs. I went snowshoeing on the trails behind the cabin, and made it up to the old trappers cabin. Incredible views from the hot tub and quaintly nestled in the snow.

Magical place! We rented the eagle lodge for our Xmas vacation and we really enjoyed it! The scenery looks like a movie, tons of space to play outside and close to the city center or kicking horse.

Been going here for the past 3 years. Really nice cabins. Nice owners. Peaceful. Highly recommend. Kitchen could be better stocked with more things and sharper knives

We went to mount 7 as a family of 6 to spend christmas from December 23 to 28,2022 in the bear lodge. Before our arrival we received a welcome email from Jo and Dave to let us know they were excited for our visit and that a xmas tree was up and decorated and ligths outside.

The cabin was equipped with everything for cooking, lots of pots, pans, baking sheets, hand mixer, utensils, knives, cutting boards, measuing cups, glasses and plates! It had everything just like home no need to pack anything kitchen related, just bring the food and drinks. We cooked a whole Christmas Dinner during our visit!

The cabins are nicely spaced apart to provide nice privacy, the whole property is so spectacular with the horses in the lower feild where we walked down to every morning to see and was greeted by their dog Loxley who loved running and playing in the snow with our boys!

This place was truly a beautiful hidden gem tucked away in the mountains but still close to lots places to do whatever adventure you choose.

I highly recommend staying here and cant wait to come again.

Christmas Vacation
We had a fabulous Christmas! We were staying at the Red Fox lodge. Everything was well thought in the lodge. The hot tub on the deck was just amazing the scenery was breathtaking ️ we had a snowing Christmas just like we hoped. We loved that our 2 Littles Boston's terrier were welcome at the lodge. We were looking for a quiet and relax place and we found it and we cannot wait to come back.

My family and I had booked this for a little vacation away from home. We couldn’t have picked a better place. We stayed at Deer Lodge snd the cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed, very well maintained and clean. The owners Jo & Dave have been wonderful in answering all my questions and checking in with us while we were there. My kids absolutely loved the hot tub, my husband and I did a lot of bbqing and cooking. We had such a beautiful view and we went to visit and pet the horses. We already have talked of staying here again next year! We definitely want to try and stay at the bigger lodges. We had good weather. So so happy with everything. Thank you Dave & Jo!

Fantastic retreat to go to with friends and very private. Very well kept and quality place with all amenities needed to never leave if you don't want to. Still close to town if you want to eat out or enjoy the local brewery or sights.

We have stayed multiple times in various cabins. We absolutely love it and look forward to it each year! We bring our 3 pups with us and they have the best time. The cabins are clean and well looked after. Jo has always been amazing! When we forgot our dogs favourite toy (he was traumatized) she happily mailed it to us. It was a grand reunion.

This was such a beautiful cabin! The attention to detail and the amenities available were over the top awesome! The private hot tub had crystal clear water, the lodge itself was immaculately clean, the towels and robes provided were so soft, the list just goes on and on! The views are spectacular the comfort was never ending! We are already planning on going back! If you are visiting Golden this is the place to stay hands down!

****LOST****
On January 18th I lost my graduation ring at the eagle lodge. This is very important to me so hoping with making a post I may be able to get it reuturned to me.

The ring has Emily and year 2007 on it. One side has a Canada flag the other a peace sign. The stone is garnett (burgundy red) with a yin yang in it. If anyone finds it let me know and I can tell you the writing on the inside of it to confirm it’s mine.

Please keep your eyes out for it as I have had this ring for 14years and never lost it before.

Worth the short drive out of town. Quiet, comfortable, just the right size for one couple with kids or two tight couples. Your own hot tub and BBQ. Maybe 25 min drive to Kicking Horse door to door. Great experience.

Absolutely amazing experience. Stayed in October, and had the best stay. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Easy access to walking trails. Spent lots of time in the hot tub.

When searching for a place to kick back and relax during the end of a busy work season, we knew we wanted to stay at a lodge/cabin, with gorgeous scenery, a private hot tub, and for it to be pet friendly - Mount 7 Lodges checked every box and far exceeded our expectations. We had plans to go for hikes and explore the area but we ended up staying in our entire three day trip. It was incredible and exactly what we needed. Seriously can’t say enough things about this place. We’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning, beautiful and peaceful place to get away from it all and enjoy the Fantastic views of the mountains! We stayed in the Eagle Lodge, with a gorgeous deck with a hot tub, that faces the mountains. It is also pet friendly, and we brought along our two furkids and they absolutely loved it there! Would highly recommend.

We stayed at Smiley Wolf Cabin (their Partner Lodge) and it was fantastic! Dave and Jo were very pleasant to deal with, Dave called and helped me directly when I had a issue with my dates when first booking online and he made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Such a beautiful relaxing place to stay. Secluded yet close to all amenities if you needed anything. But with a Cabin as beautiful as the ones at Mount 7 Lodges why would you ever want to leave, trust me you wont want to leave ever!

Talk about a place of shock and awe! My friend and I traveled 6 hours from Edmonton get there and we where not disappointed.a beautiful log Cottage with amazing veiw of the mountain with all the Comforts of home and more. After a long day of snowboarding on the mountain its great to be able to walk in make a big dinner, go sit in the hot tube to soothe the muscles and sleep in a huge comfy bed.

This place is paradise on Canada! The Lodge are perfectly equiped, so warm and well decorated. The View is stunning and jacuzzi with the View is Just a dream to finish the Day.

We booked the Bear Lodge for a Family getaway, and it far exceeded our expectations! The cabin was beautiful and the property it was set on was perfect for walks with the dogs. We loved feeding the horses and walking along the trails. The beds were comfortable, and the cabin had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. The check-in and check-out process were quick and easy, and our host was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back again!

Cozy, comfortable and beautiful cottages. Lots of extra activities available. The kitchen is well equipped. I've done most places in Golden and this is my favorite so far. I highly recommend it.

This is like a home away from home, infact it's better! So spacious, clean and modern - with a hot tub, bonus!

We had a great time here, my kids love it. The hot tub is so awesome, you can enjoy the best views when you are in it. We will definitely come here again. Thanks a lot for Joe and Abigail's great help.

We stayed 4 nights in the bear cottage and it was awesome. Only 2 other cabins on the grounds (1 occupied at the time) and we could not even tell there was people around. Nice place to get away. There are a few hiking trails behind the cabins up the mountain. Take caution as there were large cat tracks. Very friendly horses on site we were allowed to feed carrots (with permission). The lady who checked us in and felt with us was great, our toaster did not work and we had a new one within 5 minutes. Would absolutely love to come back again!
