Been a loyal patients of Dr.dhir and I can say that their service are fantastic. The receptionist, assistant and hygienist are very friendly. I strongly recommend the mount pleasant group to all the families.

The service is reliably great and the staff are friendly and attentive. Everybody goes out of their way to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

I had a great experience getting my teeth checked by Dr sonam and my teeth cleaned by Kristen! Both ladies were a pleasure and explained everything and every step in detail so I always knew what was going on. I'm looking fwd to using my new electric tooth brush and to visit them again!

We just had the best experience with Mount Pleasant Dental Group. My son, who is almost 4, had a cavity that needed to be filled. We were referred to a paediatric dentist who was planning on using general anaesthesia for the dental work. I wanted to avoid that and found Dr. Maxim Bondarenko at MPDG who has a more natural approach to dentistry and understood my reservation about general anaesthesia for my son. Dr. Max did the filling without any anaesthesia at all! And he did a fabulous job of keeping my son calm and engaged. He also gave me great suggestions for simple ways to support my son’s dental health. We travelled from Campbell River for this treatment and it was SO worth it. I highly recommend Dr. Max at Mount Pleasant Dental Group and I’m so grateful we found him.

Super clean and professional setting. The dental hygienist was knowledgeable, friendly and gentle. Dr Soman was polite and explained the process of my next appointments to come. 10/10 would recommend their dental office! Bonus is their open on weekends as well:)

The dentists and hygienists here are top notch. In fact, Dr. Max even has awards on the wall that literally rank him as the number 1 dentist in BC for at least a couple years in very recent history.

Great bedside manner, highly skilled, and full of good advice. From what others tell me they pay for services at other dentists, prices seem completely in line with going rates.

I've referred friends and family and will continue to do so.

The team here is professional, courteous, and efficient. Both my hygienist (Christine) and the dentist (Sonam) took such great care of me and were excellent communicators throughout my first appointment. Happy I found this hidden gem. Switching dentists can be a pain (I recently moved here) but Mount Pleasant Dental Group made it easier.

Building up trust and showing full responsibility is not easy. But Dr. Dhir and his team made it. You will enjoy work with every one here.

Good dental spot, I got my cleaning done by Kristen and she was very nice, approachable and asked consent before touching/doing anything in my mouth, and did regular check ins during everything. Very safe, clean and nice. They were also very up front about the cost (sent a quote before appointment) which I appreciated.

What an experience…. I went in anxious about the procedure and left feeling so calm. They did everything to make me feel relaxed! Dr. Sonam’s expertise is exceptional. The front desk goes beyond to take care of me every single time. I would recommend Mt Pleasant dental to everyone!

The staff was extremely courteous, professional and thorough. I was really impressed that my hygienist Justin remembered everything from our last appointment several months ago. He did a really great job explaining each step during our appointment and answering any questions that I had.

Terrible dentist do not go here. Does not seem focused on his patients or patients needs, very profit oriented.

I needed my dental appliance (wire glued to the back of my teeth) reattached after having it put on 14 years prior. I went here and Dr. Maxim Bondarenko reattached my wire and filled in a chipped tooth. He raved about how he was the best and how the last dentist did not do a good job. Two months after the wire fell off again due to poor work. I have tried to make appointments to reattach but they always tell me they are full. I cannot book an appointment 1 month in advance because my work takes me away from Vancouver for extended period of time for unpredictable lengths. It has been 5 months of trying to make an appointment.

I'm in my late 20s and have never had a cavity. I have always had deep grooves in my teeth and never a problem with them. My prior dentists have always complimented my ability to watch and keep them clean. The first time Maxim saw me he told me I needed to fill them to prevent cavities. He is always looking for ways to charge more.

Update: I went back two or three times to get the wire reattached. It fell off within 24 hours each time. I told them I was going to start billing them for my time so they sent me to their partner orthodontist. He was able to fix it and it has been attached for months now.

While there on my subsequent visit I was told I had two of my upper molars in really poor condition and they needed severe cavity attention. Only then, did they realize that I would be a huge source of income to them so they insisted on phoning me to book an appointment. They couldn't re-attach a wire so in no way would I trust them with a drill around my teeth. I now go to a different densit a block away - Broadway Dental Clinic - and I highly recommend them. I in fact did not have to worry about my upper molars and the dentist there explained very well to me any future concerns with my teeth, and didn't not put a price tag or timeline.

I had to go in for a cleaning and was apprehensive at first but the staff at the front desk was very welcoming and Justin did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. He was very personable and explained what he was doing throughout the cleaning so that I understood what was going on. Would highly recommend coming here!

Have to update this review unfortunately. Been going to this dentist for a few years and the organization of the practice has gotten worse and worse. Last year they charged my insurance for someone else’s treatment and it took months to resolve. They also had to move an appointment for a filling to their other location because someone had got COVID. I got the filling and they apparently didn’t record it so the next time I went in they were all ready to do it again (that happened twice). The last straw was my insurance being charged for 1.5 hours of planing/scaling when I had only had 30 minutes of it. The appointment did run over but only because the dentist went off for his lunch break and I had to sit around for 45 minutes waiting for him to look at my X-rays before eventually leaving because he didn’t come back. Mismanaged, disorganized, unprofessional, and unacceptable practices when it comes to patient information and insurance charges. I’m changing dentists immediately.

Got a couple fillings & wisdom teeth extracted, both went smoothly, would definitely recommend!

I came to Vancouver seeking emergency dental work while the 1st dental office on Commercial Drive I entrusted took advantage of my situation by depleting most of my available coverage with x-rays and a grind guard without so much as a cleaning or anything I required as necessary with type 1 diabetes and related risks, etc. Feeling abandoned, I approached Mt. Pleasant Dental Group who I have been to this day fortunate to have cared for me for over a decade since I arrived. Thank you to all from the Group who’ve treated me like family since day one, keeping me healthy. I’ll forward all families with utmost confidence to Mt. Pleasant Dental.

I've had a couple quality dentists throughout my life, and a few unfortunate ones. But Dr. Max at Mt Pleasant Dental is, hands down, a step above the best dentist I've ever experienced. He's relatable, understanding, straight-forward, and highly skilled. I even fell asleep during a root canal! Seriously, I will drive miles and miles to continue with him before switching to a new doctor.

Got my cleaning done. I got good advice on what to do in terms of my complicated situation with a crown. I have been referred to orthodontists for surgical extractions. All referrals have been to top notch professionals.

Mount Pleasant Dental Group is the best. Highly recommend for many reasons. They arranged for my wife and I to have appointments at the same time. Katie from reception is a lovely, kind and highly organized presence. The hygienist was very pleasant and did a great job. Dr. Max has a great way with patients, both young and old, is highly intelligent and spent a good amount of time examining my teeth and recommending various things I hadn't thought of to improve my dental health. He was great to chat with and has a great sense of humour. We will be going back here regularly - a really great experience.

The Dentist is a Gentleman. All staff are really happy and cheerful people. I got 3 fillings and I felt nothing. I’d highly recommend.

Doctor Max is the best dentist ever in Vancouver! He is so funny and nice to us! I love Katie as well! She is so lovely and beautiful! When I first met with her, she gave me very big and warm hug with her sweet smile! I felt like I came to home! Dr. Max is one of the only dentists I've ever met who actually backs up the claim of catering to anxious patients. Where most dentists just shush you and tell you it'll be over soon, Max walks you through what's happening with a bedside manner that makes the process of dental work much more bearable.

I am new to town and needed a fix for a broken molar. They accommodated with an appointment within 2 days of calling. Dr. Bondarenko is amazing. Very efficient and professional. The support staff is friendly and the facility is clean and comfortable.

I have been going to this dental clinic for over 6 years, and every time it's been such a pleasant experience, with a great group of staff. Dr. Max is by far the best dentist in the lower mainland.
