My favourite gem store in vancouver. The staff is really knowledgeable and all genuine, kind people. They have a great selection of beads, loose stones, fossils, carved stones, and lots lots more to look at. They also offer silversmithing classes! Love this place

12+ years ago I signed up for the beginner's silversmithing class that ran for 8 weeks, following that class I came in regularly for tools and supplies as i built up my home studio and tried to hone my skills. I was always met with friendly and knowledgeable customer service who were more than willing to give me advice and information on the challenges i was having on a project or the techniques involved. The shop soon became my "Cheers", where they knew my name and greeted me when I came in and where the staff was always curious to see what I had been working on. Fast forward to today and I've become an instructor of silversmithing and stone carving. The store has become like family.

Recently found this gems store in the neighborhood. Staffs are very nice and prices are reasonable. Found few unique pieces to add to my collection and slowly adding more. For sure it will be my favorite store to visit from time to time.

I took the weekend beginner'r ring making class. The instructor (Robin Wong) was incredible! Very welcoming, friendly, safety minded and professional. The people at the front counter are available to answer all your questions about what supplies you will need. I am a high-school metal works teacher and the things are learned have been very useful to my practice. I will definitely be coming back for more classes. I travelled from the island to take this course and it was well worth the trip.

What a great shop wtih so many wonderful things to look at and buy. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff.
My husband and I took the basic Silversmith course with Robin and had the best 8 weeks with her.

They have nice stuff but I have severe anxiety and it’s super unnerving when the employee just stares at me the entire time I’m looking.

The real hidden gem in Burnaby. I've taken two silversmithing classes and acquired a majority of my tools from here, and the prices are good and the staff are absolutely phenomenal. They will do what they can to make sure you are happy and in the know with whatever you're buying. Excellent selection of equipment, tools, rough stone, faceted stones, and metals. Bruce's cabochons are beautiful.

I believe their sage is not from an indigenous source. Purely from the flippant note that comes with it. Additionally, sage should be gifted, it's not a commodity to be sold.

"The commoditization of sage has real consequences such as the overharvesting of white sage and the continuation of using what belongs to Native people without compensating them.

Additionally, sage that is sold by non-Natives is often improperly harvested [ripped from the roots, think the Lorax], which can harm the plant and keep it from growing back. "!

You can't expect "good vibes" cleansing from something harvested and sold this way.

Mine and my mums favourite store for rocks and gems. Always a stop when in the area. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wide variety of materials, gems, stones, etc.
