MountainView Accommodation, Alpenglow Lodge Properties

Nous avons passé 4 nuits ici et tout était parfait. Notre chambre était prête à 11h au lieu de 16h, nous avons pu arriver en avance (et sinon vous avez la possibilité de laissé vos bagages en attendant). La chambre était très propre, le poêle était appréciable en hiver. L’accès au hot hub était un plus! Nous reviendrons.

Small rooms, self-check in was a hassle because we didn't receive the check in information. Atmosphere is good though and close to shops and restaurants in the center of Whistler village.

Very neat room with all the amenities you need. We found parking tight and expensive. Location really great.

Sofa bed somewhat uncomfortable to sleep on, the room was nice and clean. The very comfortable. Small but excellent jacuzzi. We didn't think we had to pay extra for parking. Good location and good view. Reception not entirely warm. Good place to rest.

Just a meh place. Not bad if you want a bargain but not good

The booking was through mountain view accommodations in my wife's name. I feel it is important for all reviews to be seen on here not just positive ones publicly and negative ones as private messages

It exceeded my expectations, I only wanted a hotel not far from the center of the town to spend a couple of nights, it turned out to be the cheapest I found, and with a large room with a full kitchen, minibar, TV with cable and audio system, turntable, fireplace, terrace with partial mountain views, great and detailed decoration, large and comfortable bed, large bathroom, air conditioning. The hotel also has a small gym, pool and jacuzzi, which I had to try when the temperature was 6°C. Very friendly and agile attention. The only detail there was was that only one elevator worked, so a little more exercise during the day is no problem.

Lovely place within close proximity to the village center. Near some great shops and restaurants.

We are in the middle of a six night stay, and so far, every day there has been horrendous noise directly above our suite. Jack hammering, hammering, drilling. When I called the front desk, they explained in a very confusing way that the noise would stop at 5pm. It did stop at 5pm, but then resumed the next day, which was NOT what I was told. I called to complain a second time, and this time the same person at reception told me the work is ongoing and will continue indefinitely. She told me four different suites in the hotel are being renovated, so she could not move us to a room that would be unaffected by the construction noise. I might have been fine if I had been told truthfully and clearly on the first day that the noise would be ongoing, but it's just been really irritating to find out that the reception person was incapable of clearly communicating what is going on. I feel like I was being dismissed and given the runaround.

This one is all about the location. For the money we spent, service and room didn't meet expectations. It's not your standard hotel. Depending on the room you book, the front desk may not be able to help you. Instead, you have to call a number to talk to someone off the property. We did enjoy the outdoor hot tub and unheated pool. It was relaxing to heat up in the hot tub and then jump into the icy pool for a quick cool down then return to the hot tub. Restaurants nearby are also good.

I really like it, my room had its own kitchen, closet and bathroom, the bathroom with bathtub. I saw it as a little loft with a comfortable bed and fireplace! It is really close from bus station. It has pool and jacuzzi, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to use them but they looks great. Excellent place!

The fireplace didn't work we called the front desk and left ms, nobody cared about that! In front of the hotel was full of ice and was very slippery, walking was very scary!
The room was too expensive for poor service (667$ for one night without breakfast +15$ for parking)

Where do we start…. The customer service was terrible. It started off continuously calling the front desk leaving messages and not receiving a phone call back. As we booked it with Expedia nowhere did it mention if the place was dog friendly or not. As someone else noted in the reviews the “hotel” cancellation policy is archaic. Upon check in the $15 per night parking fee was not communicated correctly which ended with receiving a parking violation. We signed an agreement for the $15 parking fee our credit card was taken which we believed was to pay for parking, it was not it was for the room deposit only. It was not communicated with us that the parking was actually to be paid at the booth in the parkade after they gave us the code to get in. You would think the code would be given after you have paid at the front desk for the parking. Why would we have to sign an agreement if you just have to pay for it in the parkade? After we received the parking violation we spoke with the front desk and there response was terrible. They where very argumentative, rude and not being empathetic. It was pretty much all our fault that we got the violation. I don’t mind paying for the parking violation, I just wanted to mention there was miscommunication. Instead of accepting the feedback and potentially helping the staff learn from this, the receptionist response was “I’ve worked here for 6 years and I know my staff always say pay at the parkade” and saying “you signed for it you pay it”.

They say the bed is a queen my partner and I sleep on a queen at home. That matters felt like a double.

We would not recommend this place to anyone. We will never stay here again.

Really great room! Fire place, kitchen, and bath tub with jets. The place is cozy and has everything you need.
