Mountainview Modified Montessori Preschool

Our son started out quite timid and nervous about school and finished up so confident and excited for Kindergarten. Teacher Grace treated him with such kindness, patience and humour instilling in him a real love for school. It is now January and we hear from our son weekly, “Do you know what I liked about my other school? ” And he will tell us about everything he thought was wonderful and fun about Teacher Grace and the Mountainview Preschool.

Our daughter completed her 1st year with Teacher Grace over the 2021/2022 school year and the amount of growth, development, and social skills she acquired while under her wing is nothing short of spectacular! Our daughter was in the process of/underwent being tested for ASD as we had many concerns, but a lot of if stemmed from some of her prime social development years coinciding with all the lockdowns and distancing, so our daughter suffered in terms of that. After a few months at Mountain View, she literally blossomed! Teacher Grace has never-ending patience, her curriculum/class structure is absolutely perfect for inquisitive minds and hearts of all types, and I couldn't recommend her and her preschool enough. Our daughter is over-the-moon excited to begin her 2nd year with Teacher Grace in just a couple of weeks!

Teacher Grace taught both my children and my nieces. They had such a wonderful transition into kindergarten by having gone to preschool first. The care and individual attention to each child and their needs. I recommend Mountainview Modified Montessori Preschool to everyone I know that has a toddler.

Both of my daughters did 2 years with Teacher Grace. I really could not have dreamed of a better start to my girls school careers than with her. Teacher Grace is simply amazing and any child is lucky to attend her preschool.

I brought my first child to Teacher Grace in 2018, and my third child will be starting her final year at MountainView this fall. Grace came with stellar reviews from my neighbour and I was told I just HAD to meet her. Within minutes I knew she was the perfect fit for our family. She is fantastic with the kids and her decades of experience really show in her teaching. I have nothing but good things to say about Grace and this preschool. If you’re lucky enough to send your kids here, you will NOT regret it.

We had the absolute pleasure of sharing a few years with Teacher Grace and my 2 youngest children. The atmosphere and Teacher Grace are like no other, her unique and calm approach with children is amazing! My last daughter to attend was a busy, defiant one but Teacher Grace showed the utmost patience, I have actually asked her for advice. My children still talk about her and they are now in Grade 4 & 6 (wow time flies). Very highly recommended.

Cannot say enough good things about Teacher Grace. Being a former ECE myself I was very particular about choosing a specific school for our child. Our little girl loves going to school and it’s all thanks to Grace. She treats all the kids as if they are her very own and the centre is neat, organized and clean. The children are encouraged to be independent and I love watching my daughter come home more independent each day. I am so happy we chose Mountainview Preschool. We cannot wait to be back this September. Thank you for being so amazing with our littles Teacher Grace.

Mrs Grace is the most wonderful teacher. My Daughter and our family love her. My daughter was always excited and ready to go. She teaches and does so much with the kiddos. Would recommend if you want your kid to learn lots, have fun and for them to feel safe and loved.

Teacher Grace is an exceptional educator. She is kind, clear, fair, and loving. She creates experiential learning opportunities and allows children’s natural curiosity to drive the learning. The children also engage in foundational literacy and numeracy experiences. Our daughter is thriving in her care and we couldn’t be happier or more grateful.

My son attended preschool with Teacher Grace and had an amazing time. She is very understanding and compassionate with her students. She plans many fun activities that had my son always learning something new. I would recommend her to anyone needing care for their child.

I could speak all day about why Teacher Grace and Mountainview Preschool was so amazing not only for our child but for our family. She not only helped our son navigate a group setting, playing well with others and how to deal with emotions, but also gave us advice as parents on how to help them with gentle reminders and positive reinforcement. Teacher Grace is the best preschool teacher I have ever met! My son went to her for the 3 and 4 year old programs and we are beyond grateful how she helped our son learn and grow. Words can’t describe how amazing she is because she is beyond amazing. Can’t wait to sign up our daughter for next year for the 3 year old classes!
