Moxies Richmond Restaurant

I came in for dinner tonight, you could tell they were extremely busy and under staffed. All the servers were still smiling and very friendly and the Manager Chantal was going around making sure everyone was okay. I was very impressed by the calmness shown by the staff!

Food is always solid, all the dishes were delicious and the service from Rejean was on point. I would go back to try out more menu items and recommend them.

Our waiter was so rude, she’s told me her name is “Jaidan”, Neve acknowledge us, order drinks, came after half hour, so late. But she is so loud with Men’s at the bar for her tips, there is only 3 tables were at bar side, no bedside manners!

Had a great time at Moxies with my whole family. Everyone was so accommodating especially Sadhu. I recommend the tenderloin steak with grilled prawns it was so good!

I had a stressful day after I cancelled flight and came to Moxie’s for dinner. The food was great and Patrick is an amazing server!

Excellent friendly service from Chantel and Reg. Great presentation of what we ordered was appetizing, especially they were garnished with fresh fruits and fresh veggies was great, generous portion. Will definitely come back and recommend to friends.

I had a wonderful time at Moxies! My family and I came and had Brya as a server, she was super attentive! The short rib bolognese is a must!

Nice experience except missing ingredients for non- alcohol drink. I ordered two different kinds but still a no. There is not many choices left from the menu. Well I would say I was lucky on that night. Lol

I have to update my review due to the last couple experiences I've had. I was there December 28th and ordered a pasta and it was not very good at all. It seemed like the food that day was just not up to par.

The manager Jimi handled a gift card issue quickly and professionally. Appreciate his support!

Collectively, my group of 7 was quickly turned-off by the service, the attitude, and the way that we were treated.

To start, our server was loud, unfriendly, lacked general manners, and rushed through every interaction.
He barked at every person to take their order and just shouted “Food? ! ” “DRINK? ! ”, including shouting at a 15 year old at our table who does not speak any English and getting visibly upset while my friends confirmed what she wanted to order.

Two steaks were ordered for the table and one steak knife was provided.
When the second knife was asked for, it seemed like we were creating such an inconvenience for something that was a bare minimum on what should have been provided.

My fiance, best friend and myself, ordered a pound of wings to share. No side plates were offered or brought out at any point. We were all eating with our fingers over napkins.

My fiance ordered a tuna stack or something of the kind, which was forgotten.
We had to advise the server towards the end of the meal to cancel the order.
The server was not apologetic and didn’t seem bothered.

The entire meal stressed all of us out that we decided to drive over to Steveston to The Keg.
The service at The Keg was fantastic.
We were able to ask for recommendations, make modifications, and weren’t barked at.
Everything came out as expected and we didn’t have to ask for extra cutlery or follow up with any of our orders.
We even received a complimentary dessert for my birthday.

It’s been a while since I’ve visited a Moxies and this last meal has me wondering why I’m paying a premium price for a really bad time. It’s actually embarrassing to have been the one who suggested dining at your location.
Your server needs some serious retraining or to consider an alternative job that doesn’t include facing customers.

Took my family here for a holiday dinner and had a great time, we got a few dishes but the Bolognaise was out of this world, the herbs and parm were perfect!

service was nice, someone would check on us periodically and the brownies were nice, would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a great eat in.

Had a first date here one evening and ordered the loaded burger which was made perfectly with freshly sautéed mushrooms and then we both enjoyed their toffee pudding. Service was great, the atmosphere was amazing. My compliments to the chef! 10/10 would done here again.

Busy, understaffed hotel restaurant. The food at moxies is always mediocre and over priced.

Server was funnier then most comedians and was so enthusiastic you'd think he was on his way to an ennima, definitely it'll would recommend to the rest of my donkeys
