John the workman was very pleasant and did a good job.
The job took longer to complete than expected and the 16% over estimate seemed unreasonable to me.

1 day job turned into a 3 day job. Andrey reset, rescheduled and solved our problem. Very happy with Mr. Handyman.

André was my technician. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and made the repairs for a reasonable price. Yes, I will be using this business in future.

Well we were disappointed with the 1st guy that came out. I called and the manager came out straight away and finished the job we are very happy with his job he was very understanding & very polite

I talked to Mr. Handyman on July 4 2023 regarding an urgent plumbing matter in our home. Mr. Handyman assured me that he will call me on July 5 2023. Mr. Handyman did not call me on July 5 2023 as promised. If Mr. Handyman can’t make a phone call to his customers as promised, can you trust Mr. Handyman to do work in your home?

We hired Mr Handyman for some repairs to our deck, garden gates, etc, at the end of last summer. Some of the work seems to have held up fine, but both garden gates that they repaired failed again within a few months. I reached out to ask for a refund or for someone to take another look since their website says their workmanship is guaranteed for a year. They sent the same handyman and he repaired one of the gates again, but then he insisted that neither of the gate repairs would be covered under the guarantee. His reasoning was basically that it rains a lot in North Vancouver, so you can't expect fences and gates to stay standing, and that one of the fence posts was rotted out underneath so it wasn't a failure of his initial repair (although clearly the fence post must have been rotted when he originally put new bolts into it). I wouldn't have paid them to repair it in the first place if I had known they didn't expect it to last a year. Regardless, the office had told me they were sending someone based on the guarantee so I didn't appreciate being harassed for payment. The handyman was very rude and unhelpful both while doing the work originally and then during the return visit. The front office was not apologetic at all about the failed workmanship, and failed to get back to me multiple times - in the end they said the were going to speak with the manager to resolve it but I never heard back. Ultimately, although some of the work was fine, I wouldn't hire again, and I'm going to find someone else to re-fix our other garden gate.

I found Mr Handyman to be a pleasure to deal with. From booking the appt, speaking with the office staff and dealing with the Technician that came to do the work. Our Technician Reza was great! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and a very very nice person

Toilet install was difficult in nature but the technician handled the job very well. I won’t hesitate to use this service again!

Vitali, thank you for the great work on fixing my garden brick surround! The original construction was inadequate and I believe your advice was good about not using the glue again; rather, concrete. Here’s hoping.
Vitali brought everything that was needed and gave a flat rate quote that was acceptable to me.
He had challenges with the repair as some of the brick had sunken over the years creating a slope that would create difficulties building a level wall. He used his ingenuity to get around the challenge. The result was perfect for what I was hoping for!
Here’s hoping the concrete is a better adhesive.
Lastly, Vitali was respectful and left my place completely clean and tidy of any evidence of his work. I VERY much appreciated that! Thank you.

A very professional outfit and their format was very beneficial to me. On the day of the job, I received a text message with a brief bio of the technician and photo with his ETA (really well done).

Andrey was excellent and easy to communicate with, really down to earth and practical person. We needed to fix rotting pillars at the back of the house and he took the time to explain the process to restore and how things should be done.

We were well pleased with the end result and definitely feel this is a good company to have on your speed dial even though they are a bit on the expensive side.

I was impressed by this company. They kktexted ahead of time that the technician was on his way, including a photo of the technician. When he arrived he was friendly and professional, and did a great job fixing 3 oddball repairs I needed in my apartment.

From the first point of contact by phone the service was responsive and well executed. Luc arrived promptly and did and excellent job. As he was assessing the tasks he communicated well concerning what was needed. The time and cost estimates were quite accurate. We are satisfied with the work. We will definitely call Mr. Handyman again if we need help.

Peter did a fantastic job regrouting my shower. He was on time and professional. I’m extremely happy with the service provided.

Hired this company to install a hook into the ceiling for a hammock. Explained ceiling was concrete and what kind of fixture came with. Woman on the phone wasn’t sure if it would work but would tell the workman coming. Workman came and told me it wouldn’t work, then left. Was here all of 2 mins. I ordered a new piece, called them again a week later, and the guy came again. He was an hour late, but had a big project prior so I was fine with it. Installed 3/4 screws in but couldn’t get the last one in. I asked if that would hold and he shrugged his shoulders and suggested I wear a helmet. Needless to say, I wasn’t filled with confidence. Then he proceeded to charge me for the first visit as well where nothing was done anyways. L

Great people to deal with. Friendly and professional, and at a reasonable price. Only downside was that I got a text and email at around 1pm that the guy was on his way and called an hour or so later saying he was here. They were scheduled to be there at 5pm. I was out and didn't get the message until later. Freaked out because I thought I missed them, but they arrived again that evening

I had a very positive experience with the team of Mr. Handyman of Burnaby. Everyone is very professional and give good advice. They do a great job and Tim is always available to answer any questions.

The young man who did the work was a pleasure to have in our home. We have used him twice and have generally been satisfied with the results. There have been a few minor deficiencies that we have raised with the company and have been resolved. Using this company has been the answer to our dilemma of finding trades people willing to do small jobs!

We were very happy with the service we received from Mr Handyman of Burnaby. They are an extremely professional company. Andrey came to our house and fixed many things we had been wanting to do for 2 years. He was excellent and fast. We highly recommend the company and Andrey.

We used Mr. Handyman services to do a bunch of things around our apartment such as re-caulking our bathroom fixtures, re-grouting some of the tiles. They were very responsive from the beginning. The biggest task was to install a washer and dryer and haul away the old one. It ended up taking an hour longer than their initial estimate which was justified given some unexpected issues while installing the washer-dryer. But overall we were really happy with the quality and professionalism. They went out of their way after the work was completed to go to a hardware store and show us some of the plumbing parts we may need in the future.
I highly recommend Mr. Handyman.

What I liked started with a person answering the phone. He was very cheerful and helpful. Secondly, I liked the quick service that was provided, meaning that someone was able to come to help us the very next day. Lastly, our handyman arrived on time and did an excellent job. It's really hard to find a "handy" person in Vancouver. Trade specialists are more easily found, but someone who can do the odds and ends is very rare. Mr. Handyman found me someone who could do those random odd jobs that finish the place. I'm very pleased with the experience. Our trades person was friendly and fast. I will use this service again~
