Me and my husband go to Mr.lube anytime we need our oil changed in both our vehicles and we’ve never had an issue. However, this one time it needed to be done I went without my husband and I was completely taken advantage of as a woman. They overcharged me for multiple different things and ended up finding something that THEY screwed up on last time we were there and they tried charging me almost $200 for it. Last time we went they left our oil cap off and resulted in oil going all over our brand new engine. They were so unhelpful and rude to my father when he called for an explanation. We will NEVER go back there nor will any of our friends or family. Very disappointing.
Terrible! My daughter went there to get an oil change and she was definitely taken advantage of! She was overcharged for multiple things and was told she would have to pay almost $200 for something that THEY messed up on last time her and her husband were there. They left the oil cap off and resulted in oil going EVERYWHERE (on their brand new engine) and still charged! I'm so disappointed as my husband and I as well as our whole family and multiple friends go here for oil changes and as of now we will NEVER be returning!

Predictability long wait times around noon. Tire swap took 45 minutes while I sat in fumes and compressor noise. Sales took it easy on me and stopped asking after I said NO THANKS twice.
Went to this location with my gmc canyon diesel asked how much they quoted me 240$ for oil change got some big speech about oil prices going up I said that seems really high. Went down the road to Mobil 1 and they are changing it now for 140$ plus fees shop around don’t let places like this gauge!
Very warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went in for an oil change and customer service was top notch! Very clear instruction, explanations and expertise of the vehicle throughout the process. Definitely recommend! Thank you Xander, Govin and Harjot for such a great experience.
I got a oil change from here, Bhawan was the service tech he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. These guys are always fast at this location.
Management needs to learn how to handle customers in a professional manner.
We had our break inspection done & were told that we needed knew clips which couldn’t be purchased separately as they come together with the break pads - we called back after leaving to confirm that’s the truth and got the same answer so we decided to call lordco to see if they happen to have just the clips as we just purchased brand new pads and didn’t want to spend money on purchasing another new set of pads within 2 weeks.
Once we spoke with a representative at lordco they informed us that you ACTUALLY can buy the clips on their own.
We then called Mr. Lube back to explain that the information they provided was incorrect and requested that they wave the fee for installation since we were told it’s not even a possibility.
We were told that the manger on duty needed to speak with higher up management and that he would get back to us hopefully by the end of the work day or first thing the following morning - we never got a call that evening or the next morning so I called back and he then mentioned how he’s had to leave several messages and emails to the owner and is awaiting and reply as when he last spoke to the owner they needed to review the report on file.
We were told we would receive the 2nd call back within an hour and of course nothing - so this time my boyfriend drives out of his way back to the shop to try and get some answers as this is taken unexpectedly longer then it needed to.
When my boyfriend arrives he ask to speak directly with manager we’ve been dealing with and he was no where to be seen so another work went and explained that my boyfriend is here regarding the clips and the employee came back and said we can definitely do that for you (install the clips) my boyfriend is sitting in line for the next garage to free up (45 mins) when the owner walks over and then tells my boyfriend he will not be completing the service we were informed was going to happen 45 mins ago.
My boyfriend explained the situation and the owner is basically not interested in hearing our side of the story and said that’s not what so and so said.
Is this really acceptable behaviour as a business owner?
We have giving this company plenty of service and this is how they wish to speak and treat a loyal customer…
Totally unacceptable! And definitely lost us as customers moving forward.
Went in on Labour Day to repair a tire with a nail in it, was told cost was $89 but he would ask his manager for exact cost by technician checking me in, than drove vehicle into bay directed by another technician ask again for cost and he came back with quote of $99 increase and he would ask his manager. First technician came back to say he misquoted due to tire size and low profile, so said hope they have a good day and will take my business to a more reputable company. Never saw a manager, seemed like a double the cost. All the best in your future business.
So not impressed with the technicians who did the retorque on my car today. I was in on Thursday, August 31st, Calvin and Dennis were awesome. Today, September 2, at about 3: 15, not so much. They made me feel like I was stupid, didn't follow the yelled at directions I guess, told me to let them drive my car in. Dennis saved the day by acknowledging me and took a few minutes to speak kindly with me. In the future the I will not let these two technicians work on my car.
I took my 2003 Mini Cooper S just for an oil change but the approach and customer service when I got there made my day. I found out I been using the wrong oil in my car and that I didn’t have a cabin filter in my car. All of this was clearly explained to me and I was asked for my consent to complete the work. Also the additional services of tire pressure check, etc was done and I also received coupons for my next visit. Mr. Lube Abbotsford will be my one stop shop from now on, much respect to Chris, Xander, Prabh and Harjot See you soon and thanks again
First time experience, the team was welcoming and helpful. They were informative and gave constant updates as they were working on my vehicle while I sat inside. Manroop especially, explaining processes and amazing hospitality through advice and offering beverages during my visit. Would definitely recommend and come again!
