Mr. Lube + Tires

There was a nail in one of my tires. I dropped in to Mr. Lube Richmond and they took me in right away. The tire could not be repaired. Taggar replaced both front tires. He checked the pressure in the back ones as well to make sure everything was okay. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I even got a yummy hot chocolate while I was waiting. I would definitely recommend Mr. Lube Richmond!

Very nice people working at this location. They always ask for coffee or tea. Never hassle you for extra stuff but do inform you and let you make the final decision. I bring all my 3 cars here now for all oil and tire changes.

Param, Himanshu and all the guys below are great at their job keeping my 13 year old vehicle in good shape. I recommend this location as they are honest and professional.

Yuvraj did such an excellent job repairing my tire, I was in and out of the shop in less than 20 minutes, if you ever have a puncture in your tire take it here, these guys are quick and good!

Got an oil change on our fleet vehicle,
The attendant pulled out the service record and after he got approval for the oil change he came over and told me that the van needed new brakes, I told him that I need to get approval for such service and that all i wanted was the oil change like I have done many times before.
After an hour he came over and told me he will call me if he could get authorization for the breaks and I told me I would need to get approval.
I asked for the invoice and told me he couldn't give me one, I asked him that I always get an invoice, after asking him again he proceeded to give me an invoice for $358.90 which includes service I never asked or approved, he told me he has called the fleet card company for approval, never did I requested the additional service nor did I approved such service, I was given an invoice for other stuff like air filter for $71.99 wiperblades for 32.99 and 16.99 and brake pad inspection 62.50.
What this person did was dishonest, he was only authorized by me to do an oil change nothing more, I even told me that I need to get approval for other service.
He clearly knew he did something wrong hence why he said he couldn't give me an invoice.

The screen at the driver side showing the relevant info and exact amount of oil added. I requested them to add a quart of oil treatment and they adjusted the oil needed. Was told to go back in 10 days to top up the oil should the additive burn up.

Recommended brake fluid flush but will probably get that done after reading up briefly on it.

I had my first experience at Mr. Lube. Dayal was great, very professional, communicated with me everything that needed to be done and never tried to push any extra services on to me. I would highly recommend coming here. All the staff were great and super friendly.

I like the service that Mr lube provide to their customers and Cjay treat customers very polite and give good service. Help everyone and treat well. I like their behaviour towards customer. I really appreciate their work. Well done and keep it up!

All they do trying to rip off people I went there to get fix flat tire they offer me to replace the tire instead of fixing:) their excuse was it wasn't fixable I left and went other mechanic they fix it for 20$

I came here to unmount tires off rims and have them put on steelies. And then those tires were were put on my vehicle and current all seasons taken off. Bit of a process but the guys here at Mr. Lube were great. I showed up with no appt and they saw me straight away. Gave me price up front; Were open, honest and very courteous. They did a great job with my service and I would happily go back to this location again.

Very bad experience at this location, over the phone they told me they can fix it the tire and when I arrived there I a have to buy one pair of new tires. This location is ripping of the customer, the manger and cjay they where forcing me to buy the tires, my advice never go there I had to pay a Trou truck to bring my car for another tire shop and they did the job why they can not do it.

Total rip off! Went there today to have them mount my new tire to a rim and no need for them to install it to my car. I called them before coming and this guy Gurdal was asking for $35 even if I told him I only need them to unmount the old tire and mount the new one to same rim. I agreed on the price as it's close to where I live. Upon paying same guy asked for $45. I didn't want to argue with him as I was in hurry to go home. I will never come back to this scummy place and will tell my friends to bring their business somewhere else.

I went to get an oil change and that was fine but oh my god. Not all, but a good chunk of the staff there try hard to squeeze you for money as much as they can. They will look through your engine and pretend to "spot" a problem and then try to make it up just to add onto the bill. Also when I went to get my vehicle checked out last April, the headlights at the front wasnt 100% and they said it costs $300 to get it replaced. Absolutely ridiculous. I can get it done between $25-100.

Oil change is great but that's it. ONLY come here if you ABSOLUTELY have to. This place is overpriced, complicated, messy, inefficient, and frustrating to get service done at. I advise everyone to use another service until this place here sees the criticism and makes an effort to improve. Looking at the past reviews, I'm not surprised at all.

I will never go here again, and if I can save you the pain you should also not go. I spent $600 to get all the fluids changed and the air filter, and on my way home the check engine light went on. Who pays $600 to have your check engine light come on? I was a fool. I took it to the dealer and they fixed it, but that cost another $200. I should have just taken it to professionals to start with.

Very unprofessional and do not have customer centricity.
In fact behave like they are police and we are thief.in my view it's other way round.

Don't want the customers to know the status or condition of their car and also fooling clients.

CA$125 for a oil top was crazy quote will does not even cost CA$10

Yeh, I originally rated this 5 stars. I later had someone look at it, and found out this place took me for a ride. I spent over $300 on things they warned me I should change, but later found I didn't need. A friend who used to work for Mr. Lube later told me "Yes, this is their m.o. - upsell, upsell, upsell, regardless of whether the car actually needs it. "

I really had a great experience with tyre changes they really provide great service with quality

Avoid this store！！！My car's tire pressure was low and I went there to check. They asked me which tire, I told them I don't know (if I know that I would do it myself at gas station). Then they checked and inflated my right tires. I asked him if the car has any flat tire issue, he said no. And he charged me $20 without providing receipt.

Later the same day, my car warned me again for the same issue！I was at Burnaby and I went to another Mr. Tube there. They checked for me for free and said it's always free for checking and inflating tires. I told them the whole story I experienced at Richmond store. And They are confused why Mr. Tube Richmond store asked me $20 for that.

They charge nonsense money!

Everytime i visit this store for my Car, they just deliverd outstanding service which is more then better when it comes to customer satisfaction.keep it up as u guys always.

My favorite place to go for tune ups, oil changes, etc. The staff are absolutely great- always friendly and quick, and they never try to talk me into doing any extra unnessecary work like I've had other shops do. I went in to change my oil and transmission fluid and they were very helpful and even cleaned my windows while they were working. Went back in after a few days to double check my transmission fluid level as per their recommendation and they were quick to offer me a coffee and check everything before sending me on my way. Absolutely reccomend this location to anyone needing maintenance done!

Got my car serviced hear, loved it satff is professional nd fully trained.have no complaints with my car since i am using their services. Special mention Cjay nice block with sense of humour gud customer service have a gud one mate.

Where to begin? Service took far longer than i’ve ever had anywhere else including doing the work myself without even the proper tools.
The technicians were rude hard to understand as they were mumbling and indirect with the

TERRIBLE customer service, took over an hour for a basic oil change, didn't fill up washer fluid (or if they did, hardly put anything in after telling me they filled it), and they even misplaced a bolt for the engine cover. The assistant manager told me to come back so they could put it back, so I drove back and only then do they start to look for it. They obviously couldn't find it, but it would have been nice if they told me that before i drove all the way back there. Been on the phone with the manager who has done nothing to try and rectify the situation other than telling me he will try and order new bolts. AVOID! There are a million better places to go that won't charge you 75 bucks for a basic oil change and lose your parts in the process

Went in for a transmission service.
What the technician didn't tell me (until after I payed my bill) is that they couldn't access the pan to change the filter.
So they charged me $223 to vacuum (most of) the old fluid and put in new fluid.
Without changing the filter.
And I had to ask.
He wasn't even going to tell me that the filter wasn't changed.
If Mr Lube can't perform the proper service, then it should not be offered.
If you can't access the pan, don't offer the service.
Or at least tell the customer that you are not doing the job properly.
Would technicians do an engine oil change and not replace the filter without telling the customer? !
Now I will have to go to the dealership to pay for an actual service on top of the bogus service I was sold here.
To top it all off, the technician was also quite rude, and spilled oil all over the engine compartment, fender, and nose of the car.
Which I keep VERY clean.
