MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual

I’m from out of town, in town for work. Stopped by for supper the first night. Service was exceptional. Such a great experience I went again the very next night. And well the service was sub par. The servers were more interested in hanging out with each other in the kitchen area. My apologies for imposing on your social time ladies. Very disappointing. Food on the other hand was absolutely fantastic both nights.

Great food and fast service. Here, you won’t be left disappointed, because if something goes wrong, management is always there to talk and help.

Amazing good and service tonight! My server Melissa was amazing she took my order right away and was prompt with it. Mr Mikes Merritt is the place to go when stopping in Merritt.

Update: It seems like the last few times we have gone, quality has gone downhill somewhat. Chicken tenders used to be amazing, not so much anymore

We go there frequently and have always had a great experience. Food and service is amazing, would recommend

Been a few times now, how ever their service has been in steady decline even with what you would think would be an adequate amount of wait staff your often left unattended for the majority of your dining experience as they would rather stand around in the kitchen chatting then actually tend to there customers.last time we were expected to eat with out cutlery and this time after waiting for approximately 45 minutes we were served undercooked food and bad additudes throughly disappointed with our experiences

A bit slow but worth the wait. We had a gluten allergy in the party.

We asked about something, the waitress wasn't too sure, we said don't worry about it.

About 2 mins later she came back to confirm it was gluten free, she physically pulled out the ingredients and read the labels.

If that isn't above and beyond then I don't know what is.

Food portions are way to small, per serving.
Don't get me wrong the food was good. Just ridiculously priced.
Service wasn't too bad either. Friendly host for our table. For personal reasons I'd like to have gotten a different table.
In retrospect I think it would help any restaurant to have a family seating section.
Away from othe parties. Not everyone has the patience to put up with super duper rambunctious and very loud lil kids.
Other than that it was a pleasant experience at Mr Mike's.

If there was an option for a -4 star that is what I would rate this place. Started off great then the meal came.no cutlery, raw veggies, over cooked meat. Then trying to get utensils or the meal corrected ended up being such a hassle. Waitress forgot about our table. Waited for a refill for over 15 mins. Meanwhile watched the waitresses walk by our table numerous times. Asked for a couple of glasses of water, again waited a ridiculous amount of time for it. When the corrected meal finally came everyone in our party had completed their meals and the person ate alone. When trying to raise these issues with the manager, she was VERY dismissive of the concerns and interrupted with the excuse 'oh um our kitchen is short staffed'. Saying it had horrible service would be an understatement. Salt and peppers were empty, asked for another set, asked a second time to a different
waitress, only to receive them after all meals were eaten. Oh only after issues were raised and corrected meal came out, were we asked how everything tasted (but only for the one plate).

I've been here twice and both times found staff very friendly. Nice and casual atmosphere. Good food at a fair price.

Such a fun environment! The staff are all friendly and extremely helpful! Food was really good and very upbeat place to be.

My husband and I were extremely disappointed in the service we barely had. Our waitress was not friendly, she was very slow, and did not check on us for drinks etc.

What a delicious meal; beef dip, hamburgers, garlic/cheese mushroom appetizer, delicious French fries, peach alcohol drink. Servers were friendly & efficient. Will definitely go back.

Food was pretty good. The service staff seemed quite inexperienced and directionless. Took a long time to get seated despite the place being about half full. Told our server we had a long drive ahead of us and speed would be appreciated. We did not see her again until we asked for the bill. Food was not terribly slow to arrive but certainly not fast, we had no cutlery when it came, and had to ask the manager who ran our food for refills on our pop. Again, restaurant did not appear busy.

This wasn’t here when I stopped by Merritt in the summer of 2020.
After I charged my car at the supercharger, I came here for a bite.
Good atmosphere and selection of beer.
I had the 8 oz NY strip gaucho style. I liked the chimichurri and the garlic Parmesan fries. But the meat quality is not as good as places like the Keg.

We had the pleasure of stopping in during a stay in Merritt and we must say, it was a fantastic experience!

Our server was amazing - super upbeat, attentive, personable, and checked on us a number of times. The food was super. The steak was cooked as ordered, the fries crispy and tasty. Our beef dip was to perfection. The only small complaint was perhaps the veggies weren’t quite as perfect as we’d like. Small detail, small complaint. Overall a great 5-star experience.

Super awesome place! Friendly staff, they have cards and board games for you to enjoy! And awesome stuff for the littles. Great menu options, (both adult and kids)
My bacon cheese burger and great bacon, loved the pickles and the bun but the patty was just ok.
Very processed feel.
My daughter loved her chicken burger.
We’d come again for sure.

My husband and I ate at Mr. Mikes in Merritt this past Sunday evening Aug 28 2022 and we extremely disappointed with the service. Our waitress was slow, not knowledgeable, and was definitely not personable. It took almost an hour to receive our meals which included appetizers, that we got all at once. No refills on our water or pop.

I was turned away at the door because i was a trucker and was only 1 person. Won’t ever come back

Amazing! Service is great! Beers are great! Can’t not complain! Definitely recommend when stopping in Merritt!

Food was great service was pretty awful. Sucks when the kitchen-staff work so hard but our server pf 8 was completely incompetent to put it lightly. Thanks for having us. Will probably be back, labour force is a tough landscape but there was just no excuse for what went down. Cheers
