Mr.Sub

Walked in there today and the guy started making my sandwich (I think he is the owner). He was putting toppings on my sandwich when I noticed a big black hair in the hot peppers. I told him about it and he did not even apologize. I completely lost my appetite and told him that I didn't want my sandwich anymore and walked out. So freaking gross! I will never go back there ever again. So gross!

Favorite Submarine sandwich place of all time! Never ever let's me down when I'm craving a Sub. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and the restaurant is always clean. I literally drive over to Broadway and Renfrew from the North Shore at least MONTHLY for my dose of deliciousness from here.

Can't go wrong with the best Sub in the world. Great service, fresh food, ample parking, delicious

The quality of breaded and meat here are a lot better than Subway. I ordered the wrap with turkey and Bacon and it was delicious.

Today 8: 52 guy work here not take my order say wait for 5 minutes but no in the store. Very disrespectful guy no even say hi. So rude

Me and my fiancé came in to Vancouver from Prince George bc and John was serving us he was so amazing great service great sense of humour and very informative! I would love to come back we felt very welcome and came along way to eat me sub:) thank you again John!

This was our go to place growing up in East Van, couple times a week we'd be grabbing subs. Was in Vancouver for a delivery the other day and thought I'd stop and grab something. Thought I'd try that new pepper chicken sub, got about three bites in thinking what a strange flavor, and then it hit me, it tasted like canned catfood smells, it almost came up instantly, tossed that sub in the trash absolutely disgusted. That wasn't the end of it though, 3 hours later I'm in the bathroom so sick not knowing which end to keep over the toilet. Absolutely the most disgusting tasting food I've ever put in my mouth.

Haven't had Mr. Sub in years, so when I found out that they offer a free small sandwich for your birthday with the app, I figured I'd give it another try. Unfortunately, this location doesn't use the app, which is strange, since this ain't exactly a backwater town. Maybe I'll try again next year.

The sandwiches are always the best! We go out of our way just to come get them, and they are always worth it! The owner is really friendly and always up for a chat!

Decided to drop by since I was in the neighbourhood. Still very good, flavoured subs but I noticed theyve been skinming on ingredients. I wouldn't mind paying a bit extra for more cold cuts.

Ordered kid's meal through Door dash. The menu says it's served with a choice of milk and a cookie. We only got a cookie. Milk was not even an option to order. We also ordered cream of broccoli. The worst soup I ever ate. Smelled and tasted like the pot was previously used for chili. Told the person at the counter but they didn't even apologized or offered a refund. Very disappointed.

Incredible service, best looking sandwich I’ve seen. Care and attention to detail. Dillan needs a raise. I’ll go out of my way to come back.

Were you to compare just based on sub sandwiches alone, I could get a sub and a drink for the same price at Basil Garden Pho, right next door, but in general, I believe I am getting my money's worth when I go every Friday for their seafood sub special.

I am glad that I finally took the time to stop here to try their sub's. They were very good, being fresh bread, and lots of toppings with their classic 68' sauce
And the server was nice, polite, and respectful. The prices are considered average.

I went to this location just now and got myself a sub. It was delicious and the service was great. Dylan helped me pick what I wanted and was very welcoming since I was a new customer!

Sandwiches are good. The toppings and meat are nothing special and the bread is decent but I would not say it’s better than Subway. The person working that day was very friendly and accommodating to our requests.

Seem to be made by people that hate sandwiches. Two subs were completely wrong and apparently made with a three month old loaf of bread that resurfaced from behind a shelf. Trying to pick up and eat any part made it angry in which all the ingredients scattered from impending death from their stale existence in the world. My two year old didn't get to eat his as they decided to add mayo and he has an egg allergy. Hopefully all parts can now rest easy where they belong - the garbage.

Last Mr. Sub left - way better than Subway - simple, delicious and staff are always nice and friendly

Yummy mr sub my favourite sub shop…. I drive a bit of a way just to get my sandwich from Mr. Sub. One of my favourite subs is the Canadian classic with turkey, ham, and beacon, and cheese, then you can add whatever else you want to…. Service is always fast and efficient staff is always friendly and attentive. And prices are good I’ll be back there soon

Well I did return as I was working close and nothings changed - Too cheap with the meat! This has gotten PATHETIC! Please implement standards here. The sub should look like what you're ADVERTISING. I want a replacement.

You get what you came for, Mr. Sub. It is fresh and service stands out as friendly and fast. Close to public transit.

This is probably the best sandwich place that exists in BC.the fact that there's only one left because they took the other one out of Guildford mall, makes me super upset Hands down my favorite place.

Wow! Amazing subs. So much better than slimey subway. Their meat is FRESH AND REAL! The cheese and bread are awesome as well and dammm that mr sub sauce;)

I had the limited time Buffalo Chicken Wing sub. It was really good, tasted like actual boneless wings - not chicken with buffalo sauce on top like Subway does.

Hope this place stays around because it's a better alternative to Subway

I was looking forward to this place for so long, but anyone who says they're open but they're not open deserves a big fat one star in my book.

Sign on door and online says closes at 11 but we’ve gone twice 30-40 minutes before the supposed closing time and the lights are off.

Never had Mr. Sub before, but I will certainly come back. The had extremely friendly staff, and the quality and flavor of the sub was divine compared to subway. The prices of the subs were very cheap as well. Very good value for the price.

The simplicity is the key to this place! Great value and the bread tastes home-made, unlike that processed Subway stink.

At least at this location, this is not just another subway. It does feature sandwiches but more like the neighborhood coffee shop you see in movies. I'm a regular. Quiet place to have lunch.

The last bastion of sandwich left. Owner is the absolute best. Always has a smile. Bread is also top notch

Service is good, ingredients are decent, but the bread is absolute garbage and does not hold up well enough for the purpose of a sandwich.

Every time I'm in Vancouver area I stop in here to get a Louisiana chicken wrap. I love em it's not hot or anything just tasty. The subs are good to, I would say even better than S*bway. The owner is a nice guy he is always seems to be there lol. If you like subs and wraps I would suggest to stop in and have one. I literally drive like 45 min out of my way to stop in there. Lol.

First time customer. Was enticed by the Brisket sub flyer in the mail. The flavours were fine, but I only had three tiny pieces of brisket on my large sub. Disappointing.
