Mucho Burrito Fresh Mexican Grill

Just wanted to try mucho burrito first time everything was good, the guy helped me all good but the one chubby girl with dark skin tone talked very rudely and not even say thank u and the corn in bowl was raw totally disappointed with the service
Try to be humble with customer.

Trying to order a burrito, and the two female coworkers are telling a story and she can’t even understand what I’m ordering cause her friends story is better then my order. Got so bad I just stood there till they finished asked if everything was alright and proceeded, i feel a better over head staff would help this situation as they could baby sit there workers

Overall unimpressed with my service today

Extremely poor customer service. Girls serving as they are given a punishment to serve here. Even the customer in front of me pointed out to the server if there’s anything wrong with her as she looks extremely sad. I have been at both locations many many times but this time was my worst ever experience. They were adding unnecessary charges which we were never charged before. It wasn’t about 75cents but totally about the customer service that I have to cancel half of my order. Very disappointed with the service.

I usually came here for lunch every day and i really like this place. The staff is so friendly and place is so clean. I really like their customer service.

We’ve been here three times. The other two have been fine, but today my husband found a bandaid in his burrito bowl.

Super healthy, and delicious depending on how you make it. All our experiences here was greattt, except for that one time, when our burrito was rolled incorrectly and it was so hard to enjoy it. Otherwise, it’s a great good place.

Food is awesome. Update from my previous review. I have been here 2 or 3 times since. And the staff here gave greatly improved. Like wow. The manager is a class act. Very impressed with improvements made

I have been to bunch of other mucho locations and they don’t hit like this one does. They are very good with their portions and don’t cheap out. Definitely recommend this location

**Unfortunately, I am forced to revise my review. I purchased a mucho sized brurrito last night, and when I got home to eat it I noticed the shredded beef was dry, tough and hard like beef jerkey. I was hoping it was only in a small area of the burrito, but it was throughout my entire burrito. My burrito ended up in trash as it was unedible.

I've been coming to this location for a few years since it first opened with absolutely no issues until now. I hope this is just a one time bad experience.

Just tried to eat in this establishment as someone with a mask exemption. Was turned away and not served. I will never support a discriminatory business ever again. What’s next… not serving people of colour. This is disgusting

Quality food and service. My father and I both had a burrito bowl and were very pleased with the portion size and the excellent customer service by the staff. Highly recommended!

We ordered through Doordash and will never do that again. We like this place but twice we have been ripped off ordering online. The first time our meat portion was very small. Now the second time we both didn't get the salsa and sour cream we asked for. It was so bland even with all the fillings. Disappointing for sure

Always a fresh and tasty option when I need a quick meal to go. The burrito with carnitas and all of the fixings is my go to.

Loved it, they have a good number of employees to keep everything efficient and great. The salsa is yummy

This is by far the best location in bc. First off when it's busy every staff member is at the front working in a line like a well oiled machine. For me why I rank this location better is how they fill the guacamole into the side order container. At other locations (see my other reviews) they put one scoop this one fills the container (2 scoops). Possibly looks like family run and staffed which is why they Care. Thank you guys I've never been let down by this location

Doesn’t adhere to human rights laws by accepting mask exemptions and have no idea about the law! DISCRIMINATES AGAINST PEOPLE WITH EXEMPTIONS STEER CLEAR!

Stopped in for a takeout burrito bowl to eat at home. They really pile it on. I like the new menu options, including cabbage slaw, a bunch of new sauces and meat items. I tried the chipotle shrimp over rice and beans. The shrimp had obviously been sitting for a while and were really chewy but I enjoyed he taste.

Don't try to use Door Dash, those guys ripped me off twice now.
Skip seems to work.

Didn't expect this place to be this good. Had a burrito and a quesadilla. Satisfying amount and excellent taste. Staffs were very mindful of infection control. Hope they can open a place with drive thru as well.

Not best at food handling as I've trained many kitchens! And owners don't seem to care, doubt a single person has a food safe certificate, and staff is rude and find it weird when a Mexican place only speaks punjubi behind counter and not english or even spanish?

Worst service so far, I asked for fresh chicken but was served uncooked chicken. Will never go back to this location if this continues.

If you want this type of food, get it from here. Quality ingredients, fair portion size, great taste! - yes its a bit of $$ but you won't worry about food poisoning.

I have eaten Mucho Burrito in many other locations and like the food. I also really like Mexican food in general. My experience at this location on Sunday September 20,2020 fell very short of my expectations. I normally eat a veggie bowl without any cheese. With extra salsas, seasonings and veggies it can still be very tasty. At this location I was offered 4 toppings with my rice and beans. The four toppings were very sparse and lacked flavour. Every time I asked for more salsas I was told it would be an additional charge, anything else to increase flavour was also an up charge. In my opinion when I skip on the most expensive ingredient cheese there should be an allowance for something in exchange. When I brought the veggie bowl home it was the most bland Mexican food I have ever tasted. Furthermore, I ordered chips and salsa. The chips taste like they came out a cheap grocery store bag of chips and the salsa tasted very much like it was made with ketchup. For $28 for two bowls and two chips I expect more and receive more at Chipotle and other Mucho Burritos. This was my first time at this location and the owner saved a few cents on salsa but lost a possible forever customer.

Most favourite Mexican restaurant in town! Cultural & traditional Mexican food prepared fresh when you walk in, as well as beautiful music giving you the full experience. You could never go wrong with finishing off your meal with a delicious Churro and Jarritos!

Great place, good service and amazing food. It's gotten more expensive over the years but it's still a place worth going to for a quick bite to eat.

Delicious! A friend recommended that we go here for lunch. I had one of their bowls which was absolutely amazing!

Edit: I just went back yesterday and am now changing my 4 star to a 5 star. Whoever was on the 6: 53pm crew on March 11 deserves a raise because I was so impressed with their customer service. Well done crew!

Every time we are here the food is consistently amazing. Prices are good for the amount you get.

Reply: I would love bit more of a Mexican themed all around and i always suggest owners to let their theme seep into the employee's uniform. And slow down a bit on those lights (might be my personal preference).

Very small servings, My burrito barely even had any meat and they charge 11 for a burrito, not to mention an extra charge for guacamole, place is a rip off

Great take on Mexican cuisine, wonderful staff, and Mexican beer. Two people eat for around 20, not including drinks. Burritos are also offered in bowls for anyone not wishing or able to eat tortillas.

The food is always great here. The last time we went we stood in line for a good ten minutes as people continue to talk in the back and not pay attention to the customers in the front. There was a gentleman in the front cleaning tables, however he did not acknowledge us either. Are food that tastes good, but it was just a little bit upsetting we had to stand and wait while the employees had a conversation and there was customers beginning to line up behind us.

Fast service and helpful staff. The team here is great! The burrito bowls are delish! I love the chicken burrito too! Truly enjoy a nice mexican cerveza with my burrito so thank you for being here at High Street

Mexican here-> This is not mexican food. Now, salads are good and you can get a healthy meal if you avoid the creams and salty meats. In a hurry? Service is fast (5mins) and this place employs young students looking for that first job experience. So I like to support every now and then. Salsas are not "salsas" they are veggies in a blender with water, and anything they tell you it's mexican, is not (except maybe the guys chopping veggies in the back)

The employees are generally listless & appear unhappy. The service/prep area was extremely messy. Unpleasant all around.

Brought my family in to eat while waiting for a delayed flight. While waiting our turn we noticed the kitchen was an absolute gross mess. Just asking for food poisoning. Also the way the food was slapped into peoples burritos was gross. We left and went somewhere else. Disappointing.

Food was not fresh and we were told that we were not allowed to add or change any items on the burritos. Also the prawns tasted really rubbery like they had been sitting all day. After eating them I got sick within the hour

The food is passable and not too over priced but the service is honestly terrible. My wife enjoys this place but I have to be convinced to return. Perhaps not being short or stern with customers that are unsure of what they want. Especially when it’s their first time there.

This review is based not only with how disconnected and rude you were to my wife, but also how you treated the people that were behind us. Come on guys, service still matters in 2019.
