I owe Mullin DeMeo a big apology. I came here last year with my brother. My other brother received a letter and completely misunderstood it. An error occurred on closing with a bill from the city not getting paid. The lawyer’s collected money from me for the buyer’s portion. The sellers did not pay the bill. I had to pay the bill in arrears (so I ended up having to pay for the seller as well as my portion again and a penalty since it was now a debt to the city). When I contacted the lawyers, Mullin DeMeo brushed me off and never resolved the issue. It’s a fault with the process, but Mullin DeMeo couldn’t be bothered when I pointed it out.

If you're buying land this is the place to go. Very knowledgeable staff. Parking is a bit of a pain but doable.

We finally closed our real estate deal on a new build townhome after having the closing date pushed out, and having Tejpaul Wirk walk us through the process made the experience a breeze! Tej took the time to explain each of the documents we were signing, and clearly articulated the important facts that we needed to know. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, which puts you at ease right away. Dawn was really great to work with too, as we were able to communicate via email and she kept us in the loop with what was going on.

Dealt with Tejpaul:

Held funds for 4 days without any good reason (I advised them 7 days in advance that the outstanding tax amount situation was discussed and solved with the municipality). I had to contact them to make them aware of the their mistake.

A month after the possession date the property still had an outstanding tax amount. Again, I had to contact them and let them know that this matter creates problems for me. They were more than soft in pressing the seller to pay its outstanding taxes.

Four days before the closing we were not informed about the appointment to sign the documents. Again, I had to call them to find out that the appointment was actually booked for the …following day. Ops.

Contacted the office after the business hours and the administrative assistant (Dawn) reproached me that she is staying late because of my file. I sincerely apologies as a client for that.

Jesse was recommended to us by our realtor who has been in selling homes in Victoria for over 40 years. We have purchased two properties in the past two years and Jesse walked us through both transactions very professionally. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Not only did he help us seal our deals, he educated us along the way and identified any potential issues that we could have come up against. Jesse was always just a phone call away. We will be returning to Mullin DeMeo in the future and I would highly recommend their services to others.

Hum. They were not very responsive to our requests and questions. We had an agreement for a discounted rate that did not materialized.

On one occasion, we had a meeting scheduled. After arriving on time, we waited over half an hour without any explanation. That made me feel like their time was important than our's.
