Stay away from this place.
Went in for a exam to see if my dog needed stitches, he looked at the aerea from a distance, listened to his heart and quoted $700. No other exam was performed. When I asked for a break down of the cost, he said he’lll give me that after the procedure was done. Waste of $85 plus tax. Crook!

DON’T BRING YOUR BLOVED PETS HERE. The most horrible place we have ever been to. Dirty, such a rip off, careless and most importantly the doctor’s methods are from 50 years ago. Too unknowledgeable to be trusted. We had a really bad experience and won’t come back and don’t recommend to anyone.

Terrible experience! Worst vet I’ve ever delt with and no accountability for almost killing my cat because of his negligence. Cat ended up having to go to animal hospital after getting a routine spay. Didn’t give her post op meds, no cone, no after care recommendations and had electrical burns in her mouth! If you love your pet DO NOT go here!

SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL VET, INCONSIDERATE AND EXTREMELY RUDE! VERY TRAUMATIZING EXPERIENCE!
It was initially a good experience for my dog’s vaccinations as a puppy until I was proven wrong. When my dog was diagnosed with bladder stones this vet had the cheapest price. I was initially quoted $1500 and a month later my boyfriend called and the Dr.quoted $900 all inclusive - I called in again to check and the Dr.quoted $1200 which was already suspicious because the price always changed. When we got there, his estimate was $1500 and I asked why it was different pricing - he gave us excuses about medicine prices went up but it was only a month apart. I went through with the bladder stone removal and was told that the whole process was okay and later found out he gave us a $300 discount which I was happy about however, my dog went home and was extremely lethargic and constantly vomited any liquids or food (given in small portions). Considering this was my dog’s first surgery I thought this was perfectly normal. 3 days after (Saturday), My dog is still in bad condition and is puking a lot… We take her back to the vet and the Doctor didn’t even do any physical exam except for checking her heart and temperature (She was extremely lethargic, bloated tummy and extremely red around the area). He told us that my dog was totally fine and was given anti nausea for the puking… he also said to come back Monday since he was closed Sunday. The next day, (Sunday) My dog starts puking blood and is now in worse condition. We had to take my dog to an emergency hospital and they told us that my dog is in critical condition. She needed IV and other medicines since she hasn’t eaten or couldn’t drink for 4 days and they told us that she needed to stay confined. She was there for 12+ hours and was still in really bad condition so we decided to take her back to Mundy on Monday because Dr. Sandlas would know what the complications would be because he’s the one that operated on my dog. When we got there, he mentions that if my dog was in critical condition then she needs to go through another surgery. I was worried and super traumatized since my dog was so small and probably would not be able to undergo another procedure - the vet in the emergency hospital also suggested not to do a surgery until her vitals were stabilized. Dr. Sandlas still pushed for the surgery because our other option was euthanasia or wait it out and her condition will worsen and at this point I felt like I was going to lose my dog. Thankfully when the surgery was done, we noticed that there was a difference and when Dr. Sandlas was asked what the complication was, he says that there was a leakage in the bladder because it wasn’t stitched properly- admitting that he messed up during the first surgery. He also got super annoyed when we asked about the after care and the things that we should look out for. He didn’t charge us for the second surgery and told us we were only getting charged for anaesthesia and sedation… when we were about to pay it ended up being $700 and when we asked for discount he got furious and told us to leave and never come back. WE WOULDN’T HAVE SPENT $1450 AT THE EMERGENCY VET IF IT WASN’T FOR THE MISTAKE THAT HE DID THE FIRST SURGERY! He went on to say that we should’ve contacted his number for emergency and that he would’ve been able to come but never even told us that was an option and never gave us a number. Overall a very very very traumatizing experience and would not want other people to go through this… the only thing I was happy about was how friendly and accommodating the receptionists were.

Seemed clean. Went there because our regular vet was closed, needed to get some fortiflora. The person at the front desk gave it to us, except it was TWO YEARS expired. If we hadn't checked the expiration date we would have: a. Wasted money b. It would not have worked and c. Could have made our dog sick. Moral of the story: always check the expiration date before you leave the store.

I am really thankful for the people who work here! I came home to an injury on my cat the other night and they were able to fit me in the next morning, they were really professional and nice, thanks to them my cat had some surgery and is on her way to recovery:)

Very kind Dr and is always willing to help and it's not just about the money for the Dr.iF your low on cash he'll help you out with the cost! I had around$1000.00 worth of work on my small dog 8 lbs. Paid what I could and pay the next week. My bill in the end was only$600.00

I was not very pleased and I strongly believed they lied and very unethical. They can get away with it but I think I have to warn others about their practices. I took my 3 dogs for teeth cleaning and the vet claimed there are 2 teeth were loose. This is a lie because I brushed her teeth the night before by putting the gel and I use my hands to put the toothpaste gel on it and I did not feel any teeth were loose. They did not have approval to remove the two teeth and charged absorbent price for it. Additionally I took my dogs for teeth cleaning every 12-18 months regularly. When I left, I realized that I did not get the antibiotic and I called the vet and the vet assistant insisted that she already gave me the antibiotic. I told her no I am 100% sure that I did not get it and there is a video camera there and we both can watch it. I went back to the clinic and they changed the story that they already gave her the antibiotic during the procedure and she did not need it anymore. I called 2 different vets and they both said they always provided the injection during the teeth extractions and antibiotics to go. Omg I felt so disappointed. They are basically did not care and truly tried to ripped me off.

The staff were very friendly & welcoming. I needed to buy some advantage flea treatment for my cat and most of the vets I went to would not sell me any unless my cat had an exam first. Which would of cost me more money which I didn't have. I new for sure my cat had fleas and thi$ vet had no problem selling me a box of advantage without the exam. Which I was so greatful they did

Really friendly staff and they are really there to help the animals. I know I can count on them if something happens to my cat.

We love this vet so caring and compassionate. Is direct and knowledgeable. Often I’ve seen him walking the dogs down the street. Fees were reasonable. I trust this vet with our precious fur babies

Our cat suddenly became sick on Victoria Day, and while all other vets in the area didn't answer the phone due to the stat holiday, the staff at Mundy Animal Hospital answered our call. They treated our family and our cat with the utmost respect and compassion and we are so glad we chose this vet clinic

We have been going to Dr Sandals for years! He has always been so caring and patient. His assistant Karen is also fantastic.
We have recommended other people here as well and they were very happy!
He really cares about the animals

Decent prices staff are very nice and respectful been going ever since moving to the area like 2011 or something like that the only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is because cus the prices is a little higher than some other vets and I would give a 4.5 star rating but that's not a option so over all why I come here is because of the very nice staff highly recommend to come here if you want to be treated and be looked at like a human being trust me its worth a little extra money

My experience with Dr. Sandlas & Karen was absolutely wonderful every single time.
Having an elderly pug with a variety of complicated health issues, Dr. Sandlas was incredibly knowledgeable and so kind to our little guy. He is hands down the best vet I've ever been to. I would 100% recommend Mundy Animal Hospital. Thank you again to Dr. Sandlas & Karen. Our pug loved you guys & you did so much for him. You are the very best out there.

Upstanding Dr and staff. Help my cat get through crystals in his urine. Very pleased.will start bringing both cats to him

This guy is the best veterinarian around anytime we were stuck he was always glad to help when calling many other veterinarians in the Tri-Cities every single one got more expensive with more and more upselling not here he is truly there to help enjoy people and loves animals I would swear by this guy all day long

Dr. Sandlas and Karen have both taken great care of our cat. Dr. Sandlas is kind and compassionate in his care and always happy and smiling which helps lighten the mood when dealing with a sick pet! Pricing is also reasonable when compared to other vets.

A great vet who is focused on your pets health and doesn’t try to sell products. The staff are all amazing and treated my cat and me with compassion. I would recommend them to anyone.
