I was in search of a family photographer to take photos of my whole family after Covid. This was a gift to my Mom. I read all the reviews, top 10 lists, viewed portfolios before finally deciding to use LL of My City Photos. She is simply the BEST! She's warm, funny, and super engaging with the kids. I've been using her for my own family's photos since. For our most recent shoot, my kid was grumpy and yet, she still managed to capture the split second that he smiled.

My husband and I have been getting LL to take our photos for several years now. From my first boudoir session to our engagement photos to now our annual Christmas photos with our kids. We booked a half an hour family photoshoot with LL and it was one of the best decisions ever! My dad had wanted to do a family photoshoot ever since my daughter was born and he was so happy to see our photos, he even had tears of joy (not exaggerating!) Not only that but it was the first time we had a photoshoot where we were able to include our pup and that is so important since our pup is a huge part of our family. LL was so good with working with my parents whom are camera shy, my 15 month old daughter with a short attention span AND our pup that can get anxious/over excited at times. We love both the posed and candid photos that we received. We are so happy that we have these beautiful photos and memories to look back on. We will cherish these forever!

We had the BEST time working with LL and got amazing photos in the process! We did a mini with her and I had no expectations because I knew it was just a quick 15 minutes, but the amount of photos we had to select from, plus the compositions and editing were out of this world! I hate having my photos taken and so does my husband, but LL make it so fun and so painless. I can’t wait to do more sessions in different seasons. For our daughter's second birthday we booked a 20 minute mini session with LL of My City Photos. During the shoot our daughter screamed, cried, pouted, sniffled, raged and was in every way contrary and difficult. I was sure the shoot was a bust, but later when we were shown the shots, I liked so many of them I found it impossible to narrow my choices down to the allotted five. LL is so great with kids and she’s so good at her job the shots she got make it seem like our daughter was on her best behaviour and enjoyed herself the whole time. "That comes with hiring a professional, " said my husband. "Incredible, " I said. LL truly did a bang up job and we look forward to shooting with her again and often.

LL at MCP has taken our family photos and head shots for my professional life. I've loved the results from both! She's relaxed, friendly, flexible and great with kids.

LL is wonderful to work with, and she's good with kids! This was our first family photo shoot in a while and everything turned out great. My family, especially my kids really enjoyed the overall experience. She's very professionally, friendly, detailed friendly, and accommodating. She runs a professional website, and the turn around time for setting up the appointment and receiving the final photos were prompt and consistent with our expectation. My husband and I had a great time doing a photoshoot for our daughter's first birthday! She was super responsive to emails and took time to call and talk to us prior to the shoot. She made sure we got the shots we wanted and we felt very comfortable doing the shoot. We love our photos!

We have tried a few different photographers for our family over the years and this is the one we will stick with. She is professional, fun, original and has great photos of our family. She has a great website once the photos are done. Our kids also love it, because she is so well organized, you are in and out of the photo shoot in no time.

Laura Lee is such a fun ball of positive energy! We "know" her because my sister has done many family photo shoots with her, she has donated photo packages for my niece's pediatric transplant charity and I am a fan of her blog! I actually live in Hong Kong so am not here to get regular photo shoots done with her. I was excited to have a family photo shoot with her using the "cube" setting. She was SO AMAZING with my kids (5 and 7 years old) and got them comfortable, giggling and following her fun suggestions immediately. She was happy to give us ideas and guidance as to what to do, but also open to any suggestions. All her communication throughout the process was clear, giving lots of ideas and recommendations on what to wear, what to do to prepare, etc. I actually messed up my booking and needed to reschedule because my daughter got suddenly sick, and she was very understanding about it and let us reschedule. Cannot wait to see our CUBE pictures!:) :) :) She has so many fun themes and changes them regularly. If we lived in Vancouver, we would definitely get more regular photos done with her! Laura Lee is a consummate professional. She has been our go to photographer for the last 7 years. She's photographed our newborns, maternity, and special occasions. LL knows how to gauge and respond to the mood of our children and elicit lots of genuine smiles and giggles. She has a talent for hitting the sweet spot and capturing stunning photos of ordinary folks like ourselves.

For the 70 minutes of shooting, Laura did a very dedicated job by measuring each details, taking pictures for babies is a very tough job, we really appreciate her work, looking forward for my babys one year old bday, I'll go there and take photos again!
