Their reception is useless and never answer the phone. The email posted on their website is also useless and doesn’t work properly. I’ve been calling and trying to book an appointment for the last two weeks and no one has responded or bothered calling me back. As a longtime patient I am very disappointed with this new management.

Great place, friendly staff. Professional Doctors. I would recommend to our Coquitlam communities must visit this place. Satisfactory experience.

I came here a couple years ago to get Invisalign and had to get replacement retainers because my cat got ahold of them. Everyone was so kinda and helpful, appointment was quick and on time too! They made the retainers there and they fit great. I’m super happy with the service! Highly recommend if you are looking for an orthodontist

Worst experience with them!

Prior to covid, I had a contract with them and paid $5K for Invisalign. Post covid I called them and they told me my contract is voided as there is a time duration for the treatment even though there is nothing noted on my agreement!

Currently seeking legal advice.will not recommend or use this clinic!

Fantastic Orthodontist! I am in the middle of my Invisalign and couldn’t be happier with my results so far, all the staff are very nice and super pleasant to deal with. Dr. Mattias is amazing, he is always so kind and friendly and explains things very clearly to make sure I understand and am okay with it. He is very thoughtful and even asks about my baby and dog every time I come in. I did an extensive research to find the perfect orthodontist for me and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to come here. I wish I could come here for my regular dental cleaning. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you choose to come here:)

The staffs here are wonderful. They're so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Everything (including treatment plan and fee) were discussed up front. They even gave me my own treatment plan in a booklet which makes it very personal and special. I HIGHLY recommend this office.

Our son has been going to this office for years and the staff is so amazing and helpful. Very professional yet you feel like family when you are there. They have been making his experience that is not always pleasant for kids a positive one and we will continue to support them. Highly recommended!

They have flexible payment options and they direct bill our insurance so it's super affordable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Matias and the staff at myOrthodontist.

My coordinator, Kristy, was such sweet and helped guide me through the process for my understanding. I’ve only met them once and I can strongly say they are the best team to work with. They were super generous and even gifted us an umbrella which is super helpful for a soccer mom. I can’t wait to get started and have a beautiful smile.

Great place for children and youth! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and very good with children. My daughter loves coming to their office. Their offer games and points to win prices so it’s more fun. Dr. Mathias is really good and caring.

Worth doctor ever. He was so rude, didn’t want to answer any of my questions. I requested my daughter to have a specific kind of retainer and he didn’t even want to answer my question as to why he couldn’t. He kept giving me the answer “I can’t do that” I asked him what was the reason and he refused to answer me. I paid thousands of dollars to a doctor who doesn’t even want to answer his patients questions. Would not recommend this place.

Maybe the best smile I’ve ever seen. However, sometimes I wish that their clinic was more accommodating to communicate and hear your concerns.

Im Chris and I’ve been a customer here since 2014 when I was a child. This place is a familiar place with a lot of fun memories from scrambling to collect points to get a Lego set to playing sonic on the ps3 by the wall many years ago. I love the feeling of being recognized when I open the doors of this building and appreciate the transformations the staff members were able to create. This place is and always will be somewhere I would be excited to go whenever my calendar reminds me of another appointment.

Dr Mathias is the best! Very professional and friendly and he is all about to give you a happy smile (no pun intended). I highly recommend him as a responsible orthodontist. The place and staff are also very pleasant. Front desk, Charat and Kendra are so prompt to help and make you feel comfortable. Thumbs up all the way!

Friendly and efficient service for all ages! The ladies working here are all amazing and the orthodontist is friendly and knowledgeable.

This place is so clean and friendly. Staff are welcoming from the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave. I get the impression people genuinely enjoy working here. A superb coffee machine is available for parents/patients and staff, which likely adds to said enjoyment. I don’t know how other places compare in regards to technology, but this place has all the fancy gadgets, which I would imagine are top of the line equipment. My kid loved seeing the 3D imagery, and our ortho was kind enough to take the time to explain everything to us in layman’s terms. There are even loyalty points kids can accumulate to spend on a selection of toys/games that are on display…my kid is so eager to build up enough to get what he wants. I know I’m gushing here, but I can’t imagine an orthodontist with a better setup that this place. I would definitely recommend to other, without hesitation.

I’ve been going to this Orthodontist place for almost a decade, they have helped me through every problem concerning my underbite, teeth spacing and have now given me a great smile. I could not be more thankful or happy to have this place be my orthodontist since childhood!

My son has been going to Coquitlam family orthodontics for more than 3 years and last week he got his braces off. His teeth looks great. Thank you to dr. Matias and his friendly team. Niloofar was very caring and answered all my questions. The office is also very clean. I’m happy with the result and I highly recommend this place.

Where was myorthodontist when I needed braces? I was worried when I learned I had to bring by daughter for her underbite. However, they make the visits so easygoing, child-friendly and fun. Kids can earn points for taking care of their teeth and going to appointments. They can exchange these points for toys. So my daughter loves going to them. Financing is not an issue either because they work with you so it is affordable. They help with direct billing (less hassle for me) and they have payment plans for the balance. I also like that you only pay one fee and then that’s it. You don’t need to worry about future braces/treatments. Like they said, we’re family now. Highly recommend these professionals.

From the moment I stepped out of Coquitlam Family Ortho clinic 2 years ago, I knew that my life will start to change. I lived my childhood being a laughing stock of my classmates because of my unattractive teeth but not anymore. Dr. Couto and all the team don’t know how much they helped me and made a big difference in my life.

I had this overbite teeth which made me lose my confidence. And I was so glad that my dentist referred me to Coquitlam Family Orthodontics who made a big difference in my life. I’m so grateful for my new smile.

Worst thing i have done in my life, i came to dr kudo for an invisalign treatment and at the time my wisdom teeth were growing, i advised her that i was born with a clicking jaw and that my wisdom teeth were growing should i still go ahead with the aligntment of the teeth and she said i should have no problem! After all the money and all the time spent not only teeth my alignment were fully solved she worsten my jaw problem i now have a subluxed jaw dew to trauma and extra pressure exerted on my jaw because my wisdom teeth was not removed prior to the invisalign treatment. I have gone to 3 different dentist and finally 2 different tmj and jaw specialist and they have told me that i should have removed my wisdom teeth prior to Aligning my teeth and i could have totally avoided this problem, my left jaw is hyper mobile and misalign and it has effected my appearance and i have be very careful because if dislocation happens at any point, i could be dealing with way more issures like arthritis in my jaw in the future. Please do a good reasearch when you going to see an orthodontic, even after i told her i may be running into to some tmj issues she very causully said it somtimes happens and nothing you can do about it at this point. Its a nightmare dealing with this everyday has effected my life quick a bit. I dont recommand this dr.to anybody.

Coquitlam Family Orthodontics and Dr. Couto have been taking care of my entire family’s orthodontics needs. My family and extended family had braces here and they made the whole experience great.
