Nagomi Sushi

It was my second time eating here. The first was nearly 10 years ago. It was nice to return to Whistler and enjoy a scrumptious dinner. Very attentive and friendly waitress. Prompt service even though it was very busy evening. As always, they offer a delicious menu with lovely variety of warm and cold selections. Most certainly will be back… hopefully sooner than in 10 years!

Best Sushi in Whistler! Try the box Sushi with a slice of lemon. Tad of wasabi and soy makes this out fav.

My all-time favourite sushi place for the past 3 years. It's great value, incredible quality, unique rolls and the perfect healthy meal after a full day on the slopes. Highly recommend!

We ordered take out on Saturday and spent over $120. Everything was so salty except the octopus salad and sashimi. The Fiery Tuna Roll we got was falling a part in the container and made with 80% rice and little tuna. The sashimi was the only acceptable dish.

We ordered goma-ae, tempura calamari, scallop carpaccio, and 4 kinds of sushi rolls. Everything was tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Went on a weekday right around opening time. Friendly staff, delicious sushi (more on the upscale side but not horrendous prices for a mountain town), and hot sake was wonderful. Enjoyed it!

A local told us about this place. We called multiple times on a Saturday afternoon to book a table but the phone line was always busy. We showed up anyway and saw that the next group of 4 won’t get a table until 2 hours later. We told them we could sit at the bar and got 3 seats after 15 minutes.

As expected, the food was really fresh. We ordered the usuals (every time we go to a sushi place) — spicy tuna rolls and ikura nigiri. I loved the ikura. The spicy tuna, not so much. First of all, the rolls are so big (too much rice). Second, somehow the tuna looks so pale that becomes unappealing. Third, not spicy at all.

We ordered other dishes too. The bluefin tuna otoro was pricey ($50) but excellent, so fresh, tasty and melts in your mouth. Others are standard.

Better sushi than any restaurant in Vancouver. Sushi team 100% Japanese-born as far as I can tell. Relaxed vibe with kids/families. Odd combo, but just focus on the food and you'll be fine.

Friendly hosts manage the door proficiency and the fish is fresh and clean. Love the toro sampler and Kani blossom.

Bad experience all around. Ordered takeout and the person answering the phone was rude and dismissive. When I was finally able to put my order in (after countless restrictions), I was told an hour wait for 6 rolls. Fine. I arrive 15 minutes early and my order is sitting waiting - so much for an hour. When paying it was apparently too difficult to hand the credit card machine to me. I had to push past other patrons waiting to sit to actually pay. By then the hostess is just gone. No where to be found. I’m annoyed, but have my food.

The actual food was “fine”. Mostly bland and overly covered in sauces. The fish was fresh enough, but I threw out about half of what I ordered.

I would not recommend and won’t be back next year.

Always a great place for fresh sushi and sashimi especially if you're staying in Blackcomb. Daily specials, a decent sake menu. Can be crowded so come early or make a reservation for bigger groups

The best quality sushi I have had in Canada. All the other dishes we had were excellent too.

Recommended to eat by a local. Wasn’t disappointed at all. Best customer service (thanks Mia), quick food service too and tastiest sushi I’ve ever eaten. I got the box sushi and Nagomi selection

Great local sushi spot, I wanted more depth in the flavor profile from the mango roll. Sashimi and sweet potato roll were spot on though. 4.5/5

Nothing beats fresh Toro nigiri with a hot miso soup after a powdery full day on the slopes.

The sushi was great. I had joked to my, father who is japanese, "Can't be good sushi in the mountains. Where do they get the fish? " But i was dead wrong. Fresh, delicious, well worth the trip up the mountain to get there.
